Long term will be interesting, few people with the first AU Gen still swearing by them from 2018.. that’s not 15 years though. I’ve had mine for a couple of years, goes well. 👌
That’s so true, but that’s a good sign if you have yours for a couple of years, it must be a decent Ute but your right the 15 years mark will true be the ultimate test.
Ahhh such a good question, I don’t really remember to be honest, I’ll have to check it out, but from memory I know height adjustment yes but telescopic, not sure champ.
That’s an awesome question, I’ll have to do a little of research and find out the facts about that. And if any viewers know the answer to comment as well lol.
Sports bars are a complete wank. But these Chinese vehicles have come a long way in the last couple of years. Good honest review lads. Too many people expect too much from these Chinese Utes. When you are paying 20-30 grand less than the big brands you can't expect the world.
lol on the sports bar comment 😂. We try our best to be straight up with viewers when it comes to reviews, end of the day these cars are budget cars, I’d say some people keep them until they the warranty period and then trade them in or get another Ute. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a comment and watching 👍.
I had old shape and didn’t had massive issues but won’t thing I will buy it again tho. But Chinese utes have just little more cabin room out of all small crammed Utes out of Thailand but still crammed for 5 people like any other small Ute
Hey there, Aw appreciate the feedback, how come you wouldn’t buy one again, I’m just curious, and viewers would love to know as well. That’s actually true, they’re very spacious inside, our ford rangers are decent in the cabin space but there aren’t many models out there with a decent cabin space.
That’s very true, I don’t mind a few buttons in a vehicle still and some gauges that aren’t always digital, a mix between the two would be a little more appealing to the buyer. Nothing wrong with old school, best looking vehicles are the old school ones and probably the most reliable as well. Appreciate you watching.
@@ShiftIntoGear. now you are talking 🙂 would be very nice indeed, but they look a little too much towards al these electrical driving bombs and their widescreen behaviors ... Silly stuff but easy installed i guess
I bought the same model, and let me tell you, I feel like I just flushed my cash down the toilet! The stereo sounds like it’s auditioning for a role in a horror movie-truly the worst sound system I’ve ever encountered in any car or Ute. And don’t get me started on the engine noise; it’s like a symphony of angry bees! But the cherry on top of this disappointment cake? The ridiculous safety features! My biggest pet peeve is when the radio mutes itself just because I’m signaling to turn-like, excuse me, I'm not trying to have a philosophical conversation with my blinkers! Do yourself a favor-spend that extra $10k and get a Nissan! At least then, your ears and sanity will thank you!
Appreciate the feedback man, it’s good to hear from someone who drivers this vehicle on a daily basis feels. At least the viewers reading this comment will get a better understanding of what they’re getting into, but I guess, what you pay for is what you’ll get. Thanks again for taking the time to leave that detailed comment champ 👍.
@ that’s insane, it’s the worst feeling when you lose out on something you have purchased, it seems like everyone loves there Toyota and fords. Did you end up getting one of those ?
@@ShiftIntoGear.The LDV transmission will start leaking and it will piss oil wherever you stop, and will jam the steering. Two months ago got a Toyota Hillux SR5. Buying an LDV is like burning hard earned cash. Learn from other peoples mistakes.
That’s insane, sorry to hear that man, but we appreciate you sharing that information, Toyota SR5 is a beast of a Ute 🛻. Once again thanks for sharing.
Great stuff. Looking to buy one and not worried long as it last 5 years.
Aw that’s mad. You know the funny thing is, everyone says the same thing, they only want it for a few years then change it over.
Great looking car. I wonder how these will hold up in the long term!
Thanks for watching mate, yes very interesting to see the long term quality of all these cars in the market today!

Is the steering column telescopic?

Two years iv had one bash it around up the bush almsot every weekend. 50k kms havnt had any issues
That’s amazing to get that sort of feedback, so it’s never had any issues at all ?
Fkn oath you have sold me next stop LDV dealer ship hahah
@ haha good to hear, let us know if we can assist at all on your next purchase 😃.
Is it true that you can't install the mountain roll cover due to the plastice sports bar at the back?
That’s an awesome question, I’ll have to do a little of research and find out the facts about that. And if any viewers know the answer to comment as well lol.
Wish they lean more towards their old British heritage even though LDV now owned by China
That’s very true. I think a lot of people won’t sure that they where Chinese built trucks, till they finally did some research into it.

Do they still break after 6 months of use and completely rust out?
I have not come across that just yet lol I’m assuming you had these experiences before with this brand ?

i would buy one if they stop with these stupid touch screens inside , they just look ridiculous imo , I'm old school

LDV ute is garbage. dont waste your money.
Fair enough lol have you had one before ?
@@ShiftIntoGear.I learned it the hard way, lost money to get rid of it. Stick to Toyotas and fords.
