Hope they don't move your job to Mexico like the Tacoma. When that Tundra shows up with made in Mexico sticker I will never buy one again. I have a 2021 tundra
@@jjohnson8977 You realize the Tacoma is built in Mexico BECAUSE the Tundra is built in Texas, right? They don't have enough capacity to build both at the same factory anymore since they're increasing Tundra production with this generation.
@@trizlet the Tacoma was moved to Mexico for one reason only, low cost labor. I lived in mexico as snow bird for 7 years. Mexico's minimum wage is $5 dollars PER DAY. YES PER DAY NOT PER HOUR. Toyota has factories all over the world. many in south america too. Mexicians have the ability to buy brand new hilux toyota trucks with a 4cyl deisel motor. USA cannot have these? why? Becasue Toyota is not interested in selling lower price models that compete with higher price models in the USA. Enjoy the rest of your day
When I had my 2016 SR5, I loved the V8 engine, and everything felt sturdy on it. Now I have a 2023 Platinum. Do I like it? Yes, is definitely more technology advanced, and more fun, but lots of parts wiggle on it, and feel plastiky, and cheaper. Still is a nice, and smooth, also freaking fast. I think things have to change just like on everything else. Have a nice Christmas you all...
I have a 2023 Tundra Pro, Fortunately blessed with no major issues except the recalls. However, my tires are almost worn out, and I have just put in ~ 15K. It might be because of the alignment issue tundra had on wheels initially.
Those base grade tires on all toyotas wear FAST. We've had several new toyotas cars and trucks the tires wear out fast. Not sure if those Michelin tires are any good to start with anyway
I am right there with you on costing more. I have recently realized that they are stepping up and playing with the big boys now. They were cheaper back then because they did not do all the tech stuff like pano roof interior luxury and safety. I hope you get it. Toyota never offered anything like a capstone, equal to the denali.
Who else was looking for the key fob that disappeared when he lifted the center console? I was looking on the rear floor for it. I finally found it though. Where did you find it? Hint: it wasn't on the floor
Congratulation buddy, I have the exact same truck and I’m going to buy the grill just like yours the exact truck I have congratulation man it’s beautiful👍👍👍👍👋👋👋🤣🤣🤣🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👈🏻
The last gen tundras are flawless. Under warranty they have replace my glass panaramic roof twice for rattles and leaks. My headliner twice for rattles. Sun visor 4 times for loosing tension and rattling. My entire center console tub and tray to the dash for rattles. The right rear full door cars for rattles. They all still rattle. It has a solenoid sticking in the tranny that clicks all the time you can hear it standing outside the vehicle they hear it but don’t know why it’s sounding it that. The bed rattles and the lift gate rattles , they don’t have a fix for that but say it’s common. The remote start works for at most 8 feet away, the lock and unblock isn’t any better , it’s so you have to pay for the app, the windows rattle in the tracks if they aren’t all the way up or down. One of my struts has died after 14k miles and my front right ball joint is worn out. I have been in the auto industry 10 years so I’m their worst nightmare on fit and finish and have been a quality control guy and appraiser in body shops and for insurance. Also the lag of hybrid system when the engine turns off at stop signs is bad and you can’t disengage the hybrid system unless you have it in tow hall or manual mode which revs high. I also only get between 14-15.6 mpg on average between fill ups. Enjoy. Lol

I swear Toyota is slowly becoming less and less affordable. This doesn't even look like something that they would manufacture. Borderline the level of a Shelby truck. In this economy, low-key recession, exactly who are they making this for?
It’s more like the infamous tv commercial where Lincoln Continental ad stated that if you’ve to ask the price of the car then you’re really not able to even afford a luxury car 🥴
Until the new V6s they started putting in these Toyota was known to ride until the wheels fall off. I had a 17 Tundra V8 200k miles and not a single issue with reg maintenance. I had a buddy with one well over 300k miles still running like a champ. They can't seem to figure out the eco bullshit with their higher end engines tho and that's unfortunate.
If that had a V8, was a good color like luna rock or voodoo blue, had real leather seats, decent tires and didnt look like a chevy. It'd be awesome. Wait that would be my 2021 tundra
There’s no heated rear seats or rear auto climate control in an $80k vehicle. Ford’s F150 hybrid gets better MPG and has more power. Toyota should better compete with the domestics. It’s a good truck. My ‘12 is still going strong. Love my SC’d V8.

Only thing I’m concerned about is reliability. And price. It’s the same old truck. one thing I don’t like about this truck is that hump in the middle of the floor in the back? What if I wanna lay down in there you can’t do it I don’t like that reason I won’t buy.
The greed of corporate proves Toyota build this for the Lexus buyers as none of there trucks are built in a manor to have them sold 24-7 they sell maybe 1 tundra every 2-4 weeks compared to b4. Plus they built in the same Mexico factory
If they would have just updated their interior to the last gen and kept the v8 everyone would have been happy. But nooooo. The moment I can jump to a truck they gotta put a hybrid in it and give you less interior space. Smh

You had me till you showed the center console. Typical Chinese Japanese Vehicles all have the worst center consoles and the visors. Once you have kids you got to put away the toys because they crawl all over that center console and break it. Good truck for not working with. I have had two Tundras in my lifetime and that will be it. Both were purchased new and coming from a Ram I realized how many features were missing missing. My favorite memory is when I got sunscreen on the door from my knee and the spray paint came off the plastic. Looks like they are cought up feature wise and also the reliability will suffer as we see with replacement of 100k engines. Gas engines with turbochargers don't typically last 200 to 300,000 MIles. We shall see
2015, 2019, 2022 now just picked up my 2025. I tow and put on alot of highway miles. The 2025 TRD Pro is awesome - best one yet!
I'm seriously thinking about getting one
Keeping my 2018 TRD Tundra. V8 baby!
Yes, keep it 👍
Yes keep it. And sale $100,000 .
V-8 might be more reliable but the V-6 has more torque and hp.
I’ll keep my 2017 TRD Tundra V8 paid for .
Same here. My 2018 has more values than this.
Old tundra is always the bettrr💔😭

Black with red interior👌
Keeping my 2015 Tundra only 58k miles big v8 385 hp runs like a Bat Out of hell!
Cool I will consider getting one in about 10 years when I can afford it.
Best Tundra ever!!! Out with the ol' dinosaur gas guzzler V8 and in with the more powerful new tech!!!

really really like this.
I bought a 2021 1794 in July, 2021. Turned out to be a very wise decision 🕺
❤ yep I have 2021 TRD Limited. V8. So far nobody is mentioning engine replacement recall or transmission problems like the 2022 and up have

I have a Toyota tundra 2011 TRD 5.7 I forge, it seems the new engines now are having all kinds of trouble.
Probably only last 30k before the engine blows up.

It'd be 29k miles more than any ford or Chevy out there... 😅

They need to get rid of that transmission hump in the back. It's one of the few things that keeps me from ditching my F-150 for a Tundra.

I hope no engine replacement 😅
I still love my v8 juice
Toyota airbags work?
I own 2023. Solid , instant torque off line, powerful. If you can afford it, then get it. Otherwise buy a Hyundai , cheap and disposable
This time only 6 months warranty in motor and trasmisión 😂

a great target for thieves. Toyota needs to install a modern anti-theft system, not the garbage that is installed.
