I used it way back in 2016, i only had some hairs on my chin and a weak moustache, it was bad. So I used minoxidil for a whole year, grew a nice beard and fast forward to today 2024 and I still have the same beard I had when I stopped using minoxidil so I never reverted back that's FALSE information. I actually bought some more today the foam one rogaine just so I can grow a much thicker beard. I stopped the treatment a bit too early back then, i personally should've kept going for another year or so but it's fine, excited to see if I can grow a much thicker beard soon!
The reason it's doesn't revert in pubic (facial hair) hairs is because DHT, (the androgen that is responsiblefor hair loss) doesn't bind strongly to those pubic follicles. It's binds primarily to terminal hairs on the scalp which shuts them down, hence why if you want to keep the hair on your head you have to keep taking minoxidil, as it's a race against the dht shutting off those follicles.
@amilaganovic5030 Yes the foam is better especially for beards as it has been shown to deliver the drug more efficiently to the follicles, also it's not super runny and messy so it's easy to control
Weird video, but just bought the minoxidil 5% foam and applied it to my face for the first time. I’m gonna do that twice a day which is an easy routine. I only grow subtle hair on my chin, soul patch area and mustache but it’s pretty thin (I am only just 20 years old). Let’s see how this goes.
Telling you from my own experience,I am here in Kenya where almost everything is fake.i have been using this product for the past two years ,trust me I now have an admirable beard ,been off minox for a year now with my gains still intact.relocating to the USA soon..can't wait to hold on to the real deal of minoxidil
Been using the generic Kirkland brand of minoxidil for 6 months then, I switched to hims 5% and seemed like I did not make any progress that month / hairs falling out . I am going back to the Kirkland brand
I use minoxidil for almost 1 year and I can confirm it grew me a beard out of nowhere I only use to grow goatee and after using minoxidil and derma rolling I grew my beard
Not true for facial hair.... I believe one who stops using the product for beards specifically will NOT typically go back to where they started... Just the nature of the hairs. Imo of course!
