Any bed... On Xbox, wherever you are, if you save(!), then exit the game from the start menu (don't log out) you start back in the bed you own with everything you were holding. Including metal ore. So as long as your spawn is at your base you can move metal ore without a boat.

It isnt a singular item but i like double stacking wall item frames, putting a wooden shield on the back one and a fish on the front one to make a fish trophy. I have four in my home. Also theres an easter egg where one of the types of fish can speak while on an item stand

Had an idea for you! Build a Black Forest town/village surrounding the Trader. I'm thinking some little farms for crops, a ramshackle boar pen, blacksmith, inn and a basic workshop etc :P

I feel similarly. It is a really great game and the freedom to play it however you prefer really makes it appealing. For example, I have done playthroughs where I just focus on progression and others where I only really build - both are just as fun in their own way. Let us hope that the Ashlands update is not too far away!

Good question. You cannot place them without using the devcommands. If you are playing without cheats, you have to find them in your world seed. I just placed them in for the sake of making this video.
It is probably because your hot tub is not lit. The hot tub will only contribute to comfort when there is wood in it to burn! I hope this helps - let me know! If you need more help you can always join the channel's Discord server for the future!
@@phinqs the tub was lit, I knew that the tub only gives two points when it's lit. I feel like I'm not getting the 2 points for being sheltered, even though the shelter icon is on the screen.

@@phinqs I think my hearth is too far away. I think even though the fire icon is on screen, I think you only get the two points from the hearth if you're really close to it. I hung a hanging brazier, and got an additional 1 points, this makes me believe the hearth points aren't appointed even though the fire icon is on the screen
@@HarunTerzi911 You can still gain the fire icon from the hot tub so you may be right that the hearth bonus is not being applied. With the hearth, I think you can be 12 metres away for it to work.
This is not actually true. The standing/hanging brazier will only give you an additional one comfort level. The hearth will provide an additional two comfort levels. Hope this helps!
Good question. Chairs fall under the same category as thrones. However, thrones provide more comfort than any chairs. Therefore, you should just use whatever throne you like the look of and have the materials for.
If you have a higher comfort level, you will get the rested effect for longer. The rested effect restores your eitr, health and stamina at a faster rate! It also increases your XP gain. Hope this helps.
Yes, the maximum comfort level used to be higher. This was because individual rug types (e.g., lox, deer, red carpet, etc.) used to stack on top of each other providing +1 each. This has now been changed so that no matter how many rug types you have you can only achieve +1 total. Hope this helps clarify!

So... I just downloaded this game as a "game preview".... Why does it feel like this is a lie?? I'm new yet, every video seems like people have been playing this for a decade??
It has been released on PC since 2021. It was recently released on Xbox and that is likely how you’ve discovered it. It is still in early access on both platforms but that is likely the reason you feel like others have been playing for a long time!
Just started on Xbox not long ago myself, I live the building systeam, but wish there was more released that was merely decorative. I've never seen the maypole. I'd live to know how to get it.
@@ashleyl2344 I'm sure they will add more decorative pieces in future updates. Regarding the maypole, they can spawn randomly in the meadows biome on some world seeds. Otherwise, they are available to build during the summer months. Normally, the update will remove the yule tree item in summer and replace it with the maypole, and vice versa in winter!

I love this game. If there is such a thing as my 'soul' game Valheim would be it because it has and does virtually eveything I'd want in a pc game.
