      @@tOrangePeel1972 it wasn't so much in weight, it was when weed was still peak pricing and pre-rolls were still $8, 8ths were still $50 and carts were $25-30. Now in my area the market is so flooded, prices arent even half what they were a couple years ago. There's 22 dispensaries in a town of only 32k people.

    I'm really grateful I found your channel, I'm working on quitting my weed addiction and don't have much support. I was spending around 15-20% of my income on weed alone. Not including the other expenses that came from it (doordash, junk foods, etc)

    The only vice I have left is alcohol (unless you count coffee)
    It is drank friday-sunday every week.
    I suspect I spend at least £80 a week, maybe more when you take into account the take out food and ubers to get around.
    I did a few months sober last year and felt great. I think it's time to get rid of the habit once and for all.
    You're methods do work, your videos got me off nicotine after 15 years heavy use. I stopped in April 2023. Thanks again for that Dr F!

    I’ve quit nic for 2 years now and I still smoke weed. It’s been so hard quitting it and I’ve realized that I’ve missed out on enjoying what I’ve worked up to, and have squandered free time at my remote job that I could’ve spent upskilling and starting a side business. Don’t even get me started on the financial impact I’ve made some rash purchases and all the little things adding up.

    I’ve smoked weed/cigarettes/vapes for 14 years every day I’ve quit cold turkey now for 5 days. Is chest tightness and occasional shortness of deep breaths after quitting a normal side effect? I’ve never felt this when I was smoking and now feeling these feelings makes me regret what I’ve done to my lungs and never ever want to smoke again.

    For many years, I have been spending less than 50 a month on average for everything combined, rarely drink alcohol, no interest in adult media either. I would argue that spending such a small amount every month wouldn't hurt. At least, the small amount of substances keeps me happy and motivated rather than having to abstain completely which could lead to permanent depression. Life would be meaningless if it only revolves around building a career and making more money. All work and no play makes Frank a dull boy

    • @aijazsiddique8713
      @aijazsiddique8713 26 дней назад

      I totally agree. I try to limit my expenses significantly when it comes to alcohol and other drugs. That helps a bit with staying healthy. However, I end up having a drink every now and then. For now, it is difficult to stop completely.

    Thanks for your videos as they give me some hope, however I have adhd and depend heavily on nic, weed and alcohol that is costing 10k a year, I cant imagine ever giving up all three at once, in your opinion is there an order of these drugs to give up or reduce first that makes withdrawals easier?

    • @AddictionMindset
      @AddictionMindset  Месяц назад +2

      It really depends… do you need to give up all 3? Do you want to stop all 3? If so why? Which one causes you the most grief? Start there and re assess once that’s under control
