I'm a musician who does plenty of music without samples. It's not the same thing. There's nothing wrong with involving technology in music creation. But there is a point where the craft is completely dishonored. We are now there. The only people that are really championing this are the one's who are gonna make money off of it. And they're also controlling the narrative to get other people to get excited about it and ignore the damage AI will do to professional musicians.

I grew up to his music. He's one of the few artists who is truly talented as a writer and a performer. I work in tech but the motives of ai was changed by greedy vcs.

The difference between him and you is that he can write songs that millions of people buy from the record company that owns the music. Everyone who writes music has the same conditions.
