I was offered by my brother to buy this for the price he got it for. I’m seriously going to think about it. If I do I want to make a 49cc slick looking ruckus. Maybe some 12x4 wheels. Maybe go 50mph ?
Sold my UK Zoomer (Ruckus) a few months ago and bought the new Aprilia SR GT which is a lovely scooter, but watching this video makes me want to get my hands on another Ruck. Rare and very expensive over here sadly.
Yea I’ve talked to a lot of people in the UK trying to build a Ruckus, as well as Australia. Importing parts is expensive. The shipping and taxes cost almost as much as the parts at times! SR GT is badass tho. I’d like one :)
I like it. It would be great to see a budget build on this. Kind of already on that theme with the DIY air intake. speaking of... I've been thinking about getting rid of the air box, but It seems to be no going back once you start cutting the hoses. I doubt I will ever be able to justify spending aftermarket exhaust money. Would you say there is a benefit (outside of aesthetic) to deleting the airbox without swapping exhaust?
I deleted the air box without cutting any hoses , just swap a few for another. Deleting the air box is for power and throttle response mostly. For the throttle response yea I’d say do it … keep in mind once deleted you have to do some tunning to make sure she runs right and possibly jet up in the carb. Also keep in mind I’m not an expert only a sum of my own experience
Would love to see a ruckus build. I thought about getting one or even an ice bear as a toy/build after having some ride time and something else to ride later on besides what I plan on getting either from Lifan, Venom, or CF Moto. Like you said before, never can have enough bikes.
The only real problem you're going to have with a mad dog is it's hard to get some parts a lot of the stuff is on backorder right now plus the wiring harnesses are just junk sauce it just depends on what state you are in most States if you have a 150 trike or 150 scooter you're stuck registering it as a motorcycle I understand some states even if it's 50cc you still have to register as motorcycle but here in Michigan if it's 50 and you convert it over to 150 most people still register it as a 50 and we get a moped sticker which is cheaper and we don't have to have insurance
How do you think this should be built? Thanks for watching, if this gets good vides I will continue the build.
Man it's good to see you making videos again. Yes I would like to see the rest of the Rukus build.
More to come! for sure! This is gonna be a fun one and review what ive leared from before.
just got a ruckus, lots of informative stuff here on your channel! subscribed, thank you!
Thanks for the sub! The one in this video is the subject of work this riding season.
There are so many on marketplace for crazy prices. The best ones are always out of state or in the middle of nowhere.
Sometimes they land in your area , you just have to be looking AND fast
GET content! Love it bro. Can't wait for another road to 50.
We will have the coolest pit bike
You did good job Ceasar !
thank you
Good video. Keep us in the loop on what else goes on with it

@@SmallEngineVelocity I was having good runs with my GET until it got hot once. Then dropped the exhaust valve running full bore. Bye bye piston

Love the ruckus builds! When you gonna get a grom build going?

@@SmallEngineVelocity yes!! I'm from Houston as well! You gotta get one!

@@SmallEngineVelocity Oh yeah baby!
It's -17 degrees here. Perfect weather for an Airbox delete 👍
Ceasar, what ever happened to your Lifan Lycan?
I talk to Matt and he said better get a used Maddog gy6 150 trike then getting dose other tikes I was checking on what you think Ceasar?
I have never owned any but the Maddog trike seems cool

the jetengine rear lights look more like contact lense holders
is going higher than 11-12k rpm for like 30min-45min too high for a ruckus?
yes, valve float is supposed to happen at about 10.5k unless you have modified springs. You will also have to do a valve shim adjustment more often.
damn, I'm 11 days early
The first time I've used "premier" in a while
I'm listening at 2x speed and my mom asks, "Are you listening to Ben Shapiro?"
Too funny
🤣🛵🤣
Omg lol
