Good video. I would love to see a cdi go on next to prove whether or not it will increase speed without doing exhaust/intake. Maybe Rollingwrench can toss you one of his to see if it performs better than the NCY option.
I have a ruckus and a c3 I’ve done these basic mods too, works great, bought a brand new ruckus did all this and a rolling wrench brain, couldn’t go over 20, made it stock, reset the computer, barley hit 30, any good suggestions
Polini with the 5.6g rollers are a very good start. That’s what I would use. Perhaps test with both weights. It really depends on your roads and hills.
@@SmallEngineVelocity I’m planning to do a 6k mile road trip around the country on the Ruckus. Starting from New York, the locations will be to Vegas-Kansas-Oklahoma-my home state of Texas-Louisiana- then back to New York. I’ll will be carrying Chase Harper products such as the barrel bag, under seat storage, and saddle bags to pack my stuff in. The ruck and Everything is going to be blacked out just for the looks. Anyway, So I’m going to be carrying some weight. I’m not a light weight either. So with that description my questions are… Is there a backseat rest that can be installed on the ruck and is there a rack that can be installed in the rear, because I might need to use extra storage if I don’t have room left to pack stuff in the bags? I’m concerned with acceleration, so what do I need to do to with that without compromising top end speed? I’ve looked into the stage 1 kit, but I’m only wanting to little modifications to the Ruck until after the trip, just the minimum that would help me go up hills and still have some speed on flats and downhills… like the cvt belt, variator weights, anything performance in the drive train…what brand belt and variator weights should I get? I need to change out the rear suspension and I was looking at a NCY performance rear shock cause I was told it’s able to withstand 300+ pounds, is there one that’s the same height as the original shock or at least an adjustable? What tools should I carry with me? Should I get a lithium battery? I will be making a separate RUclips channel and Instagram strictly for this trip, so I will be getting a few go pros and a 360 camera. What’s a good helmet to use for the go pro? I may have more questions later on, my trip isn’t until September, but anytime throughout will help..
Fuel pump. It should be a pretty obvious click. About three of them. You can also test by spraying brake cleaner into the intake and it should fire up for a few seconds.
Love this little series, man! Awesome job - hope you're doing well.
should do a video on replacing the clutch pads.. I can't find one anywhere.

@@SmallEngineVelocity yeah it has gas I use 87
@@XDSasukeUchiha when you turn the key without starting it do you hear three clicks coming from the back of the tank?
@@SmallEngineVelocity nothing happens no noise nothing. Taking it back to the dealership to have them look at it. Wanted to try and fix

Just a reminder to whoever is watching.
Air the tires up to the sidewall max.

Stock was no different. You had a much much longer stretch after replacing the rollers
