  • When the Ruckus was released it changed the 49cc scooter market as we knew it. The Ruckus has hands down become one of the most popular 49cc scooters ON THE PLANET!! These things have a HUGE amount of aftermarket parts available for them and THEY ARE SUPER CHEAP to customize.
This RUCKUS is essentially BONE STOCK. This makes for an amazing canvas for somebody looking to make a Honda Ruckus their own. This scooter is for sale at www.smwx717.com by visiting our website you can see all the photos and all the details about this specific scooter.
If you are looking for a 49cc scooter there are a TON of great options available. We would recommend Ruckus shoppers to also check out some other scooters as well before purchasing. Theses scooters include but are not limited to the Yamaha Zuma, C3, and Vino Models. A Honda Metropolitan may also be of interest to potential ruckus buyers. Genuine is another great company with their Rough House and Buddy 50cc models.
The Ruckus is a straight forward ride. With bare bones styling and Honda's LEGENDARY RELIABILITY YOU CANT GO WRONG parking a Ruckus in your driveway!

I am an old man. I rode a Ruckus for six years and I loved it. A bit slow, but where am I going? I drove thru rural roads and snowmobile trails in Oregon in the Summertime. I bought one for my wife too, but she didn't ride it much....her back hurt. But we are not kids. I traded my Rucki in on an RV. I don't have the RV anymore and I miss my Rucki. (The plural of Ruckus.)

Light trail riding, with some roller tuning to pump the low end up it would be a little better. These are more so off road “inspired”

I know the ruckus ... you gave a great breakdown ... especially letting the viewers know how crucial tire pressure is. 👍

I have no problems with drum brakes. So simple compared to disc brakes. And just how much brakes do you need on a 35 mph scooter? I also love the fact that the Ruckus is still carbureted. But there is one big problem I have with it. Having once owned a 2007 Metropolitan, which had a load capacity of 270 pounds, and since I weigh 240 pounds, it worked fine. But for some reason, the Ruckus has a load capacity of around 220 pounds, which means I'm too heavy for it. Any reason why the Ruckus has such a low load capacity compared to the first generation Metropolitan, which had the same engine, and supposedly the same frame?
