Hands depend on your shoulders flexibility (how you gonna put arms), for beginners keep placing hands a bit wider than shoulder width, keep slightly out (mostly check index or middle fingers parallel to each other from both hands) Rounding the back helping upward lift that need corporation from spine and hips that work together as one unit. The point is when your hips go high the knees goings off the arm automatically. Using the right breath pattern will help on lifting up
