In South India, at end of banana leaf meal, curd or butter milk is given. The curd or butter milk is mixed with rice and minute salt and then eaten and the curd rice gives the same effect as that of lassi. The curd or butter milk is a prebiotic food, which compensates effects of species.

There is lemon pickle, mango pickle, ginger pickle, mixed vegetables, cabbage, beetroot, carrot, curd curry, pineapple curry etc. The only thing you have to drink directly is Paayasam, it's sweet....rest all you have to mix it with rice and eat. That's the Kerala food.

The doughnut like thing is medu vada made of lentil balls and some spices deep fried served with chutney or sambar as dip. When you finish eating on banana leaves if you liked the food then fold the banana leaf towards you and if you didn't then opposite. Have a wonderful stay. 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳,👌👌😎 GOD BLESS BOTH OF YOU 🙏🙏🙏

    Hey Folks - Hi !!!!
Loved watching you enjoy the SAA-DYA (wholesome meal over Banana Leaf).
The Little Banana is a special one. It helps digest food and has a very special flavour --- It's called the ELAICHI KELA (Cardamom Banana).
The Rice used in Kerela is also very different. It is easily digestible. It is called the BROWN or the RED RICE. The grain is a little coarse.
    Enjoy your stint in Kerela.
Please do try out the Non-vegetarian dishes --- Coconut Chicken, Fish Moily, Mutton Curry. You could also try out the Appam / Hopper with Stew (Mutton, Chicken or Vegetable).

    Good food!
Here is a tip - When eating rice with a hand eat it with one hand if possible. And to eat the rice grab a bunch of rice with your fingertips, squeeze all fingers to make a scoop of rice, bow down to the leaf a bit, take it to your mouth, and push the food into the mouth with the back of your thumb. It would be easier.
If you use the excavator's hands you are going to drop rice everywhere. lol! Good try though.

Use Right hand only (for right handers).
Move a small portion of rice and mix and smash the rice with any choice of curries/pickles/chutneys using your fingers.
You can experiment any combinations except with dessert items.
Scoop a portion with fingers and take it in your upper palm.
Bring to mouth and use thump to push the portion into mouth.
Brothers.. your vlogs are very nice.. really enjoyed it.. thanks..❤❤🙏🙏

Hi... We eat only with our right hand... We don't use left hand to touch our food items.. (it's wrong hand for food) however, you will find people breaking chapathi with both hands in the northern parts of India.. we drink water through the meal, with left hand.

Crabs, prawns, pearl fish in banana leaf, beef with coconut chips, fried fish, prawns with drumstick are some of the non veg favourites. Tapiocca with fish curry, mussels, appams and ishtew also a must try. But veg thalis are "the" best

Let me guide you cause I am a guide😎
Because many foreigners don't know how to eat Indian food 😮‍💨cause they don't have a perfect guide and try Indian food how they eat it in their country 🚩
And sometimes they unknowingly eat something spicy🍲 without perfect mix but being on camera they pretend as they like it 😂
So first of all let's we forget about spice 😵‍💫 because when a foreigner say spicy we laugh 😂 cause we know that you will not find any food in India without spice 😅
So I just wanted to share one little secret thing🤫 with you on how to eat rice in each and every state of India in Indian style 😎
Roll the rice with whole hand make a dough of it 🍛
Then take that dough in last three fingers 🤌
And then slide it with your thumb 🎉
    And Enjoy ❤

With over 70 dishes it is probably one of the largest vegetarian feasts in India.
