When we think of south Indian cuisine, the adjectives that came to our mind is delicious, exciting, diverse, savoury and authentic 😋.
Its a divide and conquer tactic made by elites to split up ur people and nation so ur more easily controlled.
That food is NASTY 💩🤮💩🤮💩🤮💯👍

As a South Indian, for biryani, they don't marinate meat in turmeric.. They use turmeric to disinfect the meat as turmeric is a natural disinfectant..🙌
He said seasoning not marinated
Biryani is not an Islamic cultural food. The word biryani is derived from the Greek word 'pilaf'. Pilaf means cooked rice. Etymologically, pilaf is a later development. The word’s lineage goes all the way back to 'puzhungal', Tamil word for ‘cooked rice’.
@@perambu3441Biryani is not an islamic food. It's a Mughal food. 😂
@@daemontargaryen1123 Biryani is a dish of Tamils.
@@perambu3441 said no one ever. Muslim wedding biriyani shown here is basically from Andhra Pulao. As someone that lived in chennai for years aswell as visited many parts of tamil nadu. Biriyani is not a dish of Tamils. There are good food from tamil nadu but this aint authentic.
I'm German, living in the UK and married to a Tamil. I've been to Chennai several times and I can honestly say I would quite happily live on Vada / Idly with Sambar and coconut chutney 😋😋😋 Haven't tried the Mutta Mittai. Feel sick just watching it being made. Every Diabetics 'dream' 😉 I love India and especially Tamil Nadu, obviously. I have always been made so very welcome. Thank you.
Mutta Mithai was good.
No one knows about Mutta mitta 😂😂
I am Tamil ,
I don't know what is Mutta Mittai , never tasted it ,
its not a Tamil sweet
' Athirasam ' is traditional Tamil sweet
Muttai Muttai is not a very common and popular sweet... Something new that I have tasted only once in my life.... But.... I fell in love with it... Sure.. Its a guaranteed heart Attack.. Ur... What the heck... Might as well eat it and kick the bucket!
As a person from North-East,I totally agree that I love South food so much from the time I had visited Chennai...Their taste is unique which nowhere else can be found..
As a south Indian I really like chaat items of North they are also unique and taste great. Grass is always green on the other side I guess. lol

Fantastic video! Finally, someone's showcasing the mouthwatering delights of South Indian cuisine. Most vloggers tend to focus solely on the North, making this content a much-needed and refreshing departure.
Hi priya
As an Indian who has extensively travelled both northern and southern states, I'd prefer a Southern dish for breakfast and northern for lunch and perhaps a Jodhpuri dessert 😊
Jodhpuri dessert??? Any specific dish
Idk abt the desert part but the rest is kick!
Agree bro!
Lunch 😂😂😂 South Indian meals will distroy any lunch menu … south have proper lunch menu … Rasam sambar tomato pappu fry, curry, chutney and curd
Give your content team a raise, great BGM during egg mixing as well. Caption doesn't matter, India appreciates all it's cuisines
Just another foreigner trying to divide India. Be safe this time. Such fools are increasing day by day! All Indian cuisines are best. These RUclipsrs barely know more than a burger.
as an INDIAN regardless what side of the country
i love both !
I am from Northern part of india
And I really want to tell to all my southern friends that my family really love eating dosa, uthhapam, upma and my favourite idli.
Sorry but i am vegetarian so i cant try non veg food but its looks delicious ❤❤❤❤

My wife’s family is from Tamil Nadu, and we went there December, 2022.
Was amazing.
We only spent a few hours in Chennai between flying in, and hanging with her cousin before flying out.
We were mostly a bit farther south.
Sambar with dosa, idli, and vada were amazing.
Food all around Tamil Nadu was fantastic, as well as in kerela, even though her aunt says their food sucks there.
They take pride in their food and it’s amazing.
One of the many Chefs I follow on YT is one called Venkatesh Bhat (Bhats are traditional vegetarian cooks hailing from the West Coastal area around Mangalore city), whose father ran a very popular restaurant in the 1950s and 60s called Durga Lunch Home, very popular with the film crowd (my mother actually remembers them from back then). So, having grown up with the masters, he took to cooking like fish to water and grew to the point where he is the CEO of a well-known hotel by the name of Accord.
He specialized in going into the interior small and old towns and villages and learning about long forgotten and lost dishes, bringing it back to his 5-star hotels and serving them with a twist.
During one of those videos, he mentioned that, there must be more than 3000 dishes in South India when you include everything from sweets, savories, etc and also mentions that there are many more that have been lost forever.
Imagine! Over 3000 dishes - only in the Vegetarian space !!!
Speaking mostly in Tamil, within 3 years of starting this more as a lark, he has 3.30 million subscribers (how much would he have had if done in English with Hindi subtitles?) and has also successfully launched a kitchen implements line of high quality and ergonomics promising they would be heirlooms that could be passed on to the next generation (as Indians usually do).

Love the content. I am from TamilNadu and food recipes differ extremely throughout India not to mention that there are multiple cuisines even inside TamilNadu. TamilNadu has a rich history, influence and culture for food. As a result it has some unique recipes. That said other parts has their own versions and specialties.
p.s. I think we should stop saying North and South India. It just sounds like they are two separate countries.
Thanks for showing me in this video❤❤❤Egg sweet Muttai mittai❤Who loved my video like here
5:46 whoa, that looks like Maksuba Cake 😮. Except we layered the mixture and use top fire oven. The ingredients is similar too, too much egg and too much sugar + condensed milk.

That mutts mittai seems pretty expensive.
When was there with wife and her dad, visiting family in Tamil Nadu last year, we would have full meals at restaurants with multiple dishes that would only cost about 500-700 rupees, or $6 and change.
Coming from America, the food is not only amazing, but comparatively very cheap.
Amazing country and amazing experience I can’t wait to have again.
1kg 500 rupees only bro
It's cheap, but not as much as you think. It's mostly because of the currency exchange rate, 500 rupees is a lot more than six dollars if you add the average Indian income to the equation

This was a few years ago Sonny met 0:20 Irfan in Chennai, he also met the village food factory channel "Daddy", but a good documentary about Chennai food.😊
Thank you for the wonderful video about Indian food 👍
Please use the regional songs and languages while doing videos
Even many of the Chennai people don't know these songs exists which you used in this video
You can use this songs in Mumbai and Delhi videos because they can understand it...
Nope please use songs you wish sonny.
North Indian food is a mixture of everything like Mughal, Afghani etc cusines (like the people). But South Indian food is unique, authentic and not diluted.
north indian food is rajputi
Actually the ingredients in biriyani like cardamom, black pepper, cloves , cinnamon are native to south india and srilanka... biriyani was created in Hyderabad by Mughals... you can find biriyani or equivalent in srilanka... srilanka was neve colonized by Mughals..and they have less modern indian influence..
Your channel is culturally so respectful & and insightful. I just want to jump on a plane, meet the locals & indulge in that mesmerising cuisine
Bro come to kumbakonam and review the kadappa and fillter coffee
As an Indian from south i belive yes we do have some best dishes but all sides of india has some best dishes, each state have some best dishes once eaten you wont forget for rest of your life, love India irrespective of direction❤
Amaaa thala you’re right
Someone who is not comparing
Why hindi songs are playing in background. 😂😂😂 Each state of India has its own language and songs. And Tamilnadu is Tamil.
Yes, I mean it is fine to put Hindi songs but as a Tamilian watching this, it doesn’t sync.
Amazing video and all dishes are mouthwatering. So much diversity in just one state of South India. Please cover other states in South India(Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala)
Congratulations brother for100k
after i travelled to India i always try to find indian food, south indian is harder to find than north indian generlly which is a pity, there is nothing like sheera (sweet upma), dosa, idli, sambar, uttapam, coconut chutney, set dosa, veg set on banana leaf. i also love Kalari, ayurveda...i been to Gokarna, Karnataka, Kerala but still need to visit Tamil Nadu.
Proudly says pure south indians foods not only for stomach fullfill..its for health and medicine ..
As a South Indian (from Andhra Pradesh), who stayed in North India for couple of years, I can say South India has lot of breakfast options whereas I couldn't find many breakfast options in North India. Some of the breakfast items you get in North India are considered as snacks items in my opinion. Correct me if I am wrong!
Please try andhra Street food like mirapakaya bajji (chilli fritters), muntha masala, egg bonda, punugulu and many other sweets too across andhra and telangana's interior districts.
You are about to start a food war, Sonny. 😂
Hell yeah it's already kicking off 😂
Both north indian and South indian foods are very tasty. I personally prefer hot stuffed north indian parathas in winter, and well fermented soft idlis and rasam or sambar rice in summer.
Who is your music guy? This channels music selection is my new favorite playlist.

I would give any sort of food a try just as long as it's not hot-spicy. I'm not keen on food that bites me back (plus, I like to taste the flavours rather than feel any heat, except where it's heat from cooking).
Excellent video. Made me hungry 😂😂😂😂
As a tamilan, I cannot pick between south and north Indian foods. Both are delicious. But I can safely say Biryani tops them all.
Its not a competition. Great dishes everywhere.
Oh , but it is😁

Every South Indian food very taste and very healthy
South Indian dishes with north indian music in the background… you nailed it hermanos

As a CHENNAITE after living in PUNE for 6 months i feel, too much spice and fat/oil is added in a majority north indian dishes making it unsuitable in the long run. South indian food has more flavors than north indian food.North indian flavors are mostly of spicy and sweet but south indian food has an equal balance of bitter, salty, sour and umami.south indian food has foods ranging from oil to no oil, roasting with fire, steamed and boiled.whereas northindian food depends more on oil and frying, more use of butter and ghee unlike south indian food.North indian food has less vegetables, cereals and greens and depends more on pulses.North indian food are generally more colorful and bright than south indian food
