- What's better than having a spot to fly right outside your back door? Maybe having a perfectly set up Fury electric glider to fly on the said field!
Someone please buy my neighbour's property and turn it into a sod farm or hay field so we can fly together every day :)

Anyone else fly from their back yard?
There’s a small grassy field across the road from my house; I fly my Mini Dart 2 there all the time; any time I have a coffee break while working from home and the wind isn’t too strong I’m out there! I also fly my electric Hollein Introduction F5J there.
Downside is that the proximity to the ocean in Nova Scotia tends to kill lift pretty easily.

this glider is that delicate that it would get damaged on that kind of landing.
Yes, high-end carbon gliders are very stiff and light, but easy to damage.

what motor are you using and size prop . Cant believe I just bought one for sport flying around in my back yard too. Didn't tell my wife. I see 3 motors and 3 props to choose from.

For fun the 1507 and 1806 are both okay. 1507 will be lighter and still get you to 50m in 5seconds for eDLG flying, whereas the 1806 will be a hotter/faster setup. Both works well.
Use the 7x4 prop.
