I installed the same cam in my bike a little over a year ago, it is really worth it. I bought a power vision from Fuel Moto and used one of their maps and ran several auto tune sessions. The 468 cam really brought the M8 114 to life. And I still get great mileage.
Hell yah!! Sounds great. Same cam I went with also, power vision, 55m intake also and exhaust. Mine revs so fast, I actually set the rev limiter down to 5800 so I wouldn't get my self in trouble. This is my 3rd cam that I've tried and completely happy. It pulls up to the limiter.
Sounds freaking awesome! Personally still in the Sportster face with an 03 1200 custom 100 yr decked out with a stage one! Bought it with 28 miles stock and currently have 5k miles. I’ve done all the install on bike and tuned and runs smooth! Seeing your video makes me Want to doing a stage 2 on it just to get the sound and response that I want! Sandy, when you take the bike to Dave and JD’s can you ask him if using the 18mm O2 sensors versus the 12mm stock sensors makes a difference in tun-ability of the bike resulting in more power/tq?
Find out the differences between 2 into 1 exhaust and a 2 into 2 system like Khrome Werks as it relates to torque. Dave did not like my exhasut system as it produced a drop in the torque curve that he couldn't get tuned out. He said it was the fault of my exhaust system. That drop in torque started at about 2650 rpm and bottomed out at 3500 then began increasing to a second peak at 4500 rpm. So the torque went up to 113 at 2650 then down to 102 at 3500 then back up to 110 at 4500.
Depends on the exhaust system. From what I have seen, 2 into 1 pipes typically produce a flatter tq curve compared to a 2 into 2. Some exhaust systems are junk in general and shouldn't be used. A shorter 2 into 1 pipe will typically lack in low end tq compared to a full system 2 into 1.
@@BobBob-fp5fn Agreed. My system has good out of the gate tq but falls flat right in the rpm range where you want the tq most. That's the reason I chose the RS468.
Really nice job. I want to do it to my 19 Electra standard. mine being a 19 i need oil pump ? .Interested to see if your Dominator gives you hyper flash. My did ,on dash only . lights work fine and normal but indicators hyper flash and when I brake with turn signal on security light on dash comes on. I tried everything with no luck.so i Called advan black several time and spoke with Steve he was going to talk it over with Ciro and call me back but never did and that was end of Sept beginning of Oct when I did all the advan black add ons . anyway great couple videos sounds mean.
Sandy I know what your feeling, it’s like a whole knew bike with sound, performance and even handling the bike. I went with a full cam chest upgrade with a wood 222 and all the rest S&S parts. It’s well worth it. 👍👍
I have the FP3, high flow air and V&H long shots on my 2019 Heritage. I love the sound and the power. I totally agree about the throttle response, too. I kept conking my bike at stops because of the lag in the throttle. This entire setup is amazing. I love it. ❤️

After watching the S&S cam install video, I noticed they used a “ball- head” allen wrench to take off and install the rear tapett bolts. Would have saved Glenn and yourself lots of time.

Awesome video... Def worth the upgrade... Especially with the 2020 models and newer you don't even have to buy the whole cam chest you just have to buy the push rods tapit covers and the cam and the cam ring....

Since it’s gonna cost me at least $4000 to do it at the shop(Harley) I’d rather do it my self plus I get to know what’s up with my bike… I did full stage one myself and the bike really woke up no doubt. 114 is really where it’s at haha. I just did the stage 2 on my 2020 Street Glide. It really wakes the motor up. It also improves the sound. I have 4” Reinhardt on my bike. The sound is amazing. Not looking to do stage 3 or 4. The additional torque on the stage 2 is worth it especially when trying to pass on the interstate.

Is your chosen cam consider a heavy Torque or Hp gain cam? Have you done any suspension upgrades yet? Yea, staying away from Screaming Eagle Tuner is wise as I hear they have to also be EPA compliant.. I also prefer to do a Stage 2 on a 107 and it cost, vs buying a special with 114 which I believe would cost even more, and won't have the rumble the 107 with stage 2.
Not sure how the cost of a cam is personal. That is something you can help your viewers out with. Minus labor since you and the buds did it. Not that private. John shoots that info at us with no issues

You have just upgraded your FLHTK to the best stage 2 solution without sacrificing the reliability 👍🏻. I have a 2017 Ultra with the same setup and I have never ever regretted, living i Calif I have added a Oilfilter Relocation kit and a Jagg Oilcooler to keep the temps down and I can only recommend it 😉. Try the 55mm aluminum intake, better than stock 3-4 more hp. Going to do a stage 2 on my EGS too.
