Torque Custom Cycles should really do some advertising. I live in Bergen County, 15 minutes away from Hackensack and never heard of this shop until the algorithm showed me your channel 👍🏻
Love it sounds awesome the Harley dealership has told me that the 3030 cam is a great one for my fat bob 114 . Love the sound of it when your taking off it’s awesome
Sandy, Mike did a phenomenal job of explaining and getting the lines straight as an arrow, best of luck with the build. It’s like a whole different bike now, enjoy and ride safe!
My 2023 lowrider st with star 3030 dyno at 121hp and 133tq with just 55mm aluminum intake and 5.5 injectors... I love my 3030 cam. I have a freight train lol
Nice man. Been following your upgrades me myself owning a 2022 low riders I never wanted to do any mechanic work to mine thinking it was enough now seeing you how happy it makes you i want a cam now as well lol..
Taking my 17 CVO Ultra with a 114 in this weekend to have the 30 30 cam installed and tuned. Can't wait to hear and FEEL the difference. Hopefully my tuner guy here in NC is a good one. The bike sounds great!
Awesome video Sandy!!! Boy Mike did a great job the content was stellar I learned allot thank you for including us in this journey all you can say now is BYE BYE MAX !! LOL I think John will be doing something else !!
Some people may say these figures are a bit on the low side, but honestly I think the tuner who helped you is simply one of those with a correctly calibrated equipment and honestly The figures you got are great especially if the curves have ”good” lines If you would have got 128/137 or something like that, im 100% certain the figures would be incorrect for one reason or an other. (High Numbers is a sales argument…)
Absolutely love the bike.. I have never watched a more informative video about dyno tuning a Harley.. glad your loving it.. will you be at the meet and greet next Saturday? And btw I go from 1st up
This wasn't another excellent and informative video. It's amazing to see the amount of detail that goes into tuning a motorcycle. I should correct myself into tuning a performance motor. I can also see that I don't think anybody has to worry about voiding their warranty. From Harley Davidson. I think these motors, tuned by professional are better and more reliable than anything.
Badass! Bike came out awesome. See you also added some cooking fans to the motor. Nice! What are you using for mounts on the handlebars (left and right side).
I can relate to that at 2:13 I used to have a straight piped sportster and I worked at a school site and the kids would hear me coming from a mile away and they would ALWAYS be at the gate lined up to wave at me.
Sandy, gray ghost is a beast!!! I love it!!! Now what about the stock compensator and clutch, im thinking you might need to upgrade those like john did before any issues, at least maybe the star comp ramp and some heavy duty clutch springs , whats you thinking my friend?
Like I said in the past videos you need the throttlebody injectors to push past where you are into the 120s on one 30s it wasn’t a prediction it was a spoiler
Dont need TB, stock throttle bodies will support big bore kits doing 150hp. Injectors 100% though, stock injectors are the same that come on a stock 103 motor.
m8 107, 114 & 117 injectors are 4.38gm/s twin cam 103 3.91 gm/s, I did the woods 22xe cam 5.5gm/s injectors se 55mm manifold, the bike pulled 123.3hp at 5600rpm and 136 ft/lbs of torque. very happy
yes std twin cam throttle by wire 4.35gm/s and m8 4.38gm/s. I'm no expert though but was told the m8 won't fit the twin cam either, anyways hello from New Zealand
@@geoffowens3823 Yeah I believe it. I think we can all agree stock injectors arent up to the job for a hot M8 motor when you're pushing 115-130hp. How you rating your 22xe? Im just about to the do the APE CR485 and support mods to mine, keen as.
Hey Sandy, I respect you for going for the extra power yet not taking it to the raw edge of reliability!! Hope you don't go down the rabbit hole chasing the max hp and torque. You and John have diametrically opposite riding styles, your style is a more mellow aggressiveness? The Ghost is good for your style!! Ride on!!!
This is because they are correct. All other specifications from other dyno tunings are exaggerated and can not be achieved by a camshaft and exhaust alone. The question is really only, are these the values at the rear wheel or at the clutch? At the rear wheel these values would be fantastic, since 20 hp more than stock
Hey man I've got a question for ya. Do you still have the stock throttle body/manifold on your bike? I have the same bike with the same exact pipes & I love it. I'm a little bit torn between the 475 & 30/30 cams. Plan on doing the stage 2 sometime in the near future. The reason I ask is because I talked to the guys down at moonshine harley & they're saying that when I do the stage 2 the bike will benefit a lot from going with a big screaming eagle 64mm throttle body paired with a MHP 66mm manifold. Love the vids man. Keep 'em comin.
People keep telling me the ST comes bone stock with the screaming eagle torque cam, which is why it gives good dyno numbers off the bat, is that true ?
great vid very interesting👍👍 how is the shifter working? r there stil any marks on your shoes? i instalt the chrome (pudercoatet) voreward controls yesterday (as u did) they looks amazing👍 greetings from muc!!
Finding neutral. I like being in second and just a tap_ and hit it.. it’s smoother.. less distracting if something else is happening at intersection .. or wherever you need to stop.. it’s just a more perfect transition…imo
Sandy.....did he giv eyou a graph of before and after so we can see the midrange gains....thats where you actually feel the difference....2500-4000 is where you wanna see the big jump in HP and TQ...I know mine was completely different after tuning... :D. Love the bike man....great choices and I am sure its a BLAST now!!
I am sure you could but image how long it would take to hit every rpm at every throttle position for 20 to 50 hits per box. We also use load control on the dyno which wasn’t in the video. We can hold the bike at a specific rpm at any throttle position to achieve our goal.

True ! Good build and tune . Thanks
Thanks Sandy. This video is the best example Ive seen on tuning a bike on the dyno! 🤙
Building a monster lol sound great . bummed meet and greet got canceled was looking forward to meeting you. Ride safe.
Great video! There are not many videos on youtube that explain the tuning process from beginning until end so good.
I like to make these kind. Explaining…
Did learn a bit. Good luck with it Sandy.
18:17 i got to say it… I love springers!
That cam sounds mean as hell!
Sounds great Sandy glad you're happy with it. Have fun with it man.Great video!
Yes sounds great that cam is hitting brother
Hey Sandy
Grey ghost is sounding BEAST!! You have done an amazing job!! That exhaust looks and sounds amazing man!!👍
S&S slipons, 5.5 injectors, 30/30 cam, stock aircleaner got 118 Hp & 130 Torque enough power for New Zealand roads.
Sounds Awesome Sandy 👌

did you have to change injectors?
@darrenwolfe378 not required but I did my tuner recommend me to
For those out there thinking about getting the new PV4 (powervision 4), DONT! Buy the Powervision pv-1b, 2b or 3b, WAY better tuner!! Great video!!!
Sounds awesome, congratulations
Nice! I'm probably going for a 30/30 myself soon.
Great job Mike getting rid of the rich AFR right off throttle and then tuning out the mid-high lean spot. Beautiful AFR line. Bike looks good Sandy.
Nice man. Been following your upgrades me myself owning a 2022 low riders I never wanted to do any mechanic work to mine thinking it was enough now seeing you how happy it makes you i want a cam now as well lol..

“Sad max”🫢
😮 Shots fired!
The bike is top notch 💯
Nice scooter,mines black . Same cam.Intoxicating 👍
Very nice SANDY. Take it to John. Show him some smoke. Blessings.
This is my favorite low rider right now. The sound after tuning also sounds more in sync.
Sandy, awsome build, appreciate the content. Can you take some time and talk about cost of project?
I’ll do that

Yep 👍🏻 I agree 💯
He tuned the bike very well. Got the AFR spot on. I knew you would gain and not have the big dips like it came in on the canned tune.
Sandy the bike came out great great choices on the pipe the great ghost
This motorcycle sounds awesome bro

Some company sent me great mounts - small company with great product… I don’t remember their name…
Great video and the best so far about auto tuning. Did he change anything with the ignition timing?
No he didn’t. Maybe that could change the final numbers but … it’s very powerful as it is now so..
I can relate to that at 2:13
I used to have a straight piped sportster and I worked at a school site and the kids would hear me coming from a mile away and they would ALWAYS be at the gate lined up to wave at me.
That was cool and funny!
Those numbers are alot lower than I expected from that 30/30 cam, especially it being in a 117 motor
Maybe elevation? Not sure where he's based in

Sandy, did you ever go with the Bassani 2 in 1 pipe?
We do it for the bois!
I have the same exhaust. Was thinking about a cam?
Sandy did you just change the cam or did you change the cam plate and oil pump also
Nvr mind I found your complete build video
Had to watch this one as well
Haha, of course

FANTASTIC
Hpi throttle body and some headwork now huh man...may as well go all the way
What fender bib is that ?
Now you have put a 30/30 in the Royal😉.
😂
Congratulations! Looks like you got what you were looking for! Now get out and ride!
She hauls the mail buddy !
Sandy, great build! BTW on my bike, I can never find neutral by downshifting from 2nd - I can only hit "N" upshifting from 1st.
I do both - and find it easier when I coast just before I stop
I love it bike sounds great
I installed a 2 into 1 Cobra El Diablo exhaust on my 2022 Low Rider S, do I need to install a tuner and or can I ride it just like that
Bro if you went from a 2 into 2 into a 2 into 1 you ABSOLUTELY show tune it ASAP. Go with the PV3A
Ride safe
Good video. Bike sounds great.
so i assume you kept the stock valve springs?. how's the cam been since you installed i 10months ago?.
Bike sounds angry and looks great with out the bags..👍👍👍🇦🇺
This is because they are correct.

The question is really only, are these the values at the rear wheel or at the clutch?
At the rear wheel these values would be fantastic, since 20 hp more than stock
I need to ask Mike if the Dyno records the drum = wheel or if it records information that comes directly from the engine.

They are probably right but I still run the stock .. plenty of power
Oh that boi sounds good. I have the 30/30 star racing as well and I’m looking it. I’m running khrome Werks full exhaust system 2-2 with 4.5
People keep telling me the ST comes bone stock with the screaming eagle torque cam, which is why it gives good dyno numbers off the bat, is that true ?
Yes ! True . I was getting 92 HP 103 Trq stock !
great vid very interesting👍👍
how is the shifter working? r there stil any marks on your shoes?

they looks amazing👍
greetings from muc!!
Thanks
Real nice.
So you get more power from a thundermax?
I don’t know what set up he had…maybe bigger injectors, throttle body etc…
Could you put those heat shields in the oven to get the colour the same?
Oven is a good idea!
Nice job, sounds good ⚡️
Are the 112 hp and 126 Tork measured at the clutch or the rear wheel?
The screen says at the engine.
I believe at the wheel but I don’t know for sure
Do you have an extended warranty that will cover the aftermarket parts and tune?
Nope 🥲
10-4...
So this being the mid length pipe . This one has the baffle right ? Was this one recommended by your tuner ? Or would the shorty had been better ?
Longer is better

Yes, and Yes…😃

I'm more interested in seeing the power curve . We know it'll make a good bit more power.
1/2 click up!
Couldn't you just ride the bike in the auto tune mode and then refresh the ecm. Over and over until you get it dialed in? Same thing right?😮
I am sure you could but image how long it would take to hit every rpm at every throttle position for 20 to 50 hits per box. We also use load control on the dyno which wasn’t in the video. We can hold the bike at a specific rpm at any throttle position to achieve our goal.
OH THE SPEED LIMIT IS WHAT 30-35
How much did it cost for a 20 horse power gain?
I sense sarcasm in your question 😂.. because I’m so rich - I don’t care how much it costs -🤣😜🤣😂
