This is probably the most important conversation on this channel so far. Thank you Chris and Josef

Hope. The only thing I want is to be me. Be functional, able to work, walk, go out, feel strength in my body, feel something, enjoy, creativity, pleasure taking a shower, love, be in relationships. All that is taken away.

I love the many visuals/analogies he uses like the "leading you out of a dark cave" analogy he used in this interview.

Thank you both for this video. I know the the horror of akathesia. I had it for only 11 months when I came off Xanax, but it was absolutely horrible. I cannot imagine 3 years of it. I have now been left with insomnia that is just as brutal as the akathesia was. Do you or Chris have any tips to help me deal with this. It is driving me to brink. I only get 2 to 4 hours of sleep every 24 hours and it has been like this for 17 months.

@@germainedenon311 The same, bad. 1 year off. Extreme brain sensations, pressure, burning pain. Also in upper body and along spine. House bound. Seem to be a hard case. Took it 17 years, adverse reaction and very rapid taper.

Hate that I can identify with this man. Dealing with SSRI withdrawal for about a year now.

I'm sorry, it's really hellish. Keep going. I'm convinced that SSRI withdrawal can be every bit as bad as benzo withdrawal from talking with both SSRI and benzo survivors. Stay strong. One moment at a time.
