I just bought this TV yesterday. I think it has amazing sound for a TV without a soundbar. What I am curious to know is if this TV has some kind of Burn In prevention. I am actually using it primarily as a PC monitor (55 inch).
yeah so basically your going to want to have an active screensaver or on your pc set the screensaver to pop up after 5-10 mins of inactivity. I also must add because this is Quatntum Dot OLED, it is more efficient and has less of a chance for burn in.
I don't even understand soundbars, nevermind why TV's like this even still have speakers. Who in their right mind would drop that much cash on a TV go through the effort of having it hauled into their home and not bother with a somewhat decent stereo setup??

I saw this TV at best buy but wasnt able to fully demo it. How do you find that the colors appear when you play. On the shot where you were playing fortnite, the colors looked a bit saturated. Was that from your camera or are the colors on the TV close to that level of saturation when you play on the PS5. Thanks!
The nice thing about this tv is it has a lot of room to make adjustments in the settings if something is not to your liking. Also in epic mode in fortnite the game is just overall very colorful, So I would say its more the game then the tv that makes it look like that. Thanks for the feedback!
S@nie's (spelled wrong so RUclips doesn't delete this comment) 2016 LED has immediate access to switching inputs without the operating system getting in the way of it. It's ridiculous how Sam devolved SWITCHING INPUTS. Not to mention 480p widescreen is the minimum supported resolution. A far cry from the NTSC support we had previously. Modern OLEDs have really good anti burn in built into them but its still a possibility. If your someone who watches the news for more than a few hours a day I would never recommend an OLED.
Looks like the only way to purchase this model is if you plan on opening the box right in the store to verify you didn't get the dreaded warped screen that so many have reported. Either that or be prepared for some back and forth if you don't get lucky the first time
I just ordered my 55 inch S90C. $1,400 out the door including a 4-year warranty, tax and delivery. My current $1700 LG TV crapped out just outside of warranty. The LG repair shop said they couldn't fix it and it needed to be replaced. LG wasn't interested in helping so I am currently boycotting them. It didn't help that my previous phone was an LG phone that was also a piece of junk. If your GM vehicle is just outside of warranty typically you can still get some assistance from general motors if you ask. Screw LG! And what's with all these crappy factory warranties? The companies that build these products apparently only have faith in their product for one year.
yeah i am here watching this video because my LG CX from 2021 is already dead and i can tell its going to take weeks of back and forth with the warranty process. going to go pickup an s90c this weekend, LG can suck it, never again

@WaltsTV xbox to arc and other hdmi to receiver. It's the only way I can get all the benefit the Xbox and TV because the receiver is older. Just has sound delay now. Anything else I should try.
Awesome video. One question regarding my recent S90C 65" purchase, I immediately noticed a slight angle to the actual unit. It is slightly angled away from the viewing area, has others seen similar concerns on theirs? Obviously this is only a worry if you're not mounting your television.
On BestBuy, Costco and Amazon buyers have posted pictures with very noticeable bending. One buyer had 3 in a row with bent/warped screen and finally gave up and went with the LG G3. The ones I saw were bent horizontally.
Yes the 83" version is OLED, Basically same tv but standard OLED vs QD-OLED. So same processing power and refresh rate just not as bright. It is kind of odd that they still call the 83" the 90C.
DO NOT BUY THE S95C!! YOU WILL BE PAYING SIGNIFICANTLY MORE MONEY FOR A HARDWARE LIMITED S90C. GET THE S90C, SAVE SOME MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND PROBLEMS THAT COME WITH THE S95C!
It's very refreshing to see a reviewer stress the importance of audio, but that makes it all the more unfortunate and ironic that you only mention soundbars. They are vastly overrated nowadays already, given that they are an inferior choice for any situation except when you *really* do not have the space for proper speakers. A properly setup 2.0 system will sound magnitudes better than a soundbar at ANY price point.
Yes, the idea is that most people don't even consider it and it's the cheaper easier option to drastically improve the sound. Im all for real systems but alot of people are not ready to drop that kind of money.
No 'ONE' HDMI will EVER GIVE YOU ANYTHING BETTER than any other HDMI cable, FACT !!! If a cable IS HDMI, then That is what it is. A £5.00 HDMI cable will supply as good as a £1000.00 one, FACT !
A downside of this model tv is that, as soon you will mount the tv to the wall. The air grid on the back is a true dust catcher, and cleaning can be very hard to reach. Dust will heat the tv up and shorter the lifetime for sure.
having the extra framerate capability means that at 120 hz this tv is not maxed out. Which makes sense because on 120hz sets you have to have lower brightness settings to be able to actually see the 120hz.
people are more then welcome to have their opinions. I have seen the difference in quality cables and out of the box cables so I feel like its worth mentioning. Also if you are just an average tv watcher it might not be that important to you.
@@WaltsTV I’m trying to say this in the most respectful way possible. You need to educate yourself on the technology. You have a RUclips channel guiding people as an authority. People watch your opinions and think as them as expert. This is not a matter of opinion but a matter of science. You can have a solid gold Diamond encrusted 6 gauge 1 inch thick insulated 1 million dollar hdmi cable and it will make 0 difference.
@@WaltsTV 1 more things to add. Your mistake was incorporating this ad in the middle of your review. Nobody would have taken any issue if it broke away from your review and it was just a generic advertisement. But when the words came out of your own mouth in the middle of the review you are culpable. You knew what you were saying. I would further say that nobody would take issue with this style advertisement if you believed in the product or a product clearly not making false claims. The mistake was not having integrity. It’s clearly 1 of 2 thing’s and I don’t know which is worse. Number 1 you clearly don’t understand this technology and should not be making reviews or two… Did not have integrity. I would actually say the second is not as bad if you own up to it and change your ways. I know you are trying to start a successful channel and advertising offers are exciting but if you did it while retaining your integrity I believe your channel will flourish more in the long run! Because when I watched your video and I saw that I had to stop because I questioned whether I could further trust your review.
To address your point, The mention is not an "ad" I only include i when talking about quality tvs because if you are buying a 500$ tv I don't think you should be buying a 50$ HDMI cable. I have sat through trainings where the same source and speaker play a song 5 different times with 5 different level cables. To my surprise I was actually able to the hear the difference. HDMI cables don't improve the image or audio, yes I am aware of this. But there is noise and distortion and different levels of that in different HDMI cables. In other ways not every HDMI cable is made equally. Different quality metals and levels of silver do have an effect on the signal that passes through. It is my personal opinion that they are important depending on the tv your using... And I will die on that hill because of my experience. So let me ask you this, would there be more integrity if I just lied and said that it does not matter? Because that wouldn't be what I believe, That would make me not honest with my audience. Also your not the only person that assumes everything additional is a waste of money. I thought and believed the same way, until I experienced it on my own. I understand how it can be a turn off for people but some people would rather know as much as possible before buying something then just assuming its all bad.
And thats what I would say If I had never heard the difference, if you want to learn more I suggest watching this ---> ruclips.net/video/cnd2Mwc4T3c/видео.htmlsi=czu0hRYc27E1HcC9 It makes much more of a difference in the audio side of things. And I have heard multiple controlled tests and can attest that the soundstage and overall crispness of the audio is way better with an AudioQuest cable. You can of course shop other brands but this is the brand we trust the most and what we use when troubleshooting our customers systems.
This TV is awful! It doesn't even use the full screen! I'm left with wider strips between the picture and the bezels. No, I'm not talking about the strips when watching movies. This TV blows!
Was a thumbs up until the fearmongering upsell on snake oil HDMI cable quality- stop this. It’s either 2.1 or it’s not. You’re not going to “lose some of that color data” by having a $10 cable versus a $99 cable. 👎🏻 🤡
Its more important in terms of audio, I have tested it multiple times and it sounds so much more full and immersive with a cinnomon cable. Also the company is called AUDIOquest not videoquest.
I think what your looking for can only be found by actually looking at the tv in person in a retail store. The goal of this channel is to educate and help the average consumer understand it better.
I'm getting this tomorrow I've been looking to upgrade from my 65 Sony A80j I got 2 years ago
Nice!
I can prove it cause it wouldn't detect my HDMI modded GBA SP! Need more proof than that?! This low key sucks. Stick to monitors, they're more grounded to fundamental functionality.
What will this tv be priced at on Black Friday? Looking to get a 77 inch.
Haven’t been able to find pricing for Black Friday/cyber monday
@@BoogaGoon not sure
@@WaltsTVI found a liquidation store selling a 77 s90c for 1950 , picking it up tomorrow , they said they will unbox it there and show me the picture before I leave with it , good deal? Minus not havin Best Buy warranty , truthfully I get a new tv every 2 years
Last Christmas I purchased a Sony x90k 75inch , so I upgraded after 9 months only because every other tv and my gaming monitor is OLED 🤣
Nice lol. Not a bad price if there is nothing wrong with it.
@@WaltsTV we both opened it , since it was sealed and it was damaged, guy didn’t know but he was glad we checked. Was disappointed but ended up going with option #2 , s89c 77inch for … 🥁.. 1600$ 🔥
This one came perfect out of the box , and it looks just as bright as my s90c 55inch i have in my room, even tho It is a WOLED , and not the QD-Oled , it’s amazing
I have an LG CX 55" OLED and starting to get dead pixels. I'm mad and I don't even use it heavily. Had it for about 3.5 years. Dealing with LG now
really? do you leave it on for extended periods of time when your not actually watching TV?
@@WaltsTV No not at all
Looks great. May upgrade to this model. Thanks KG!
Kind of an add ball question... BUT can anyone tell me for the qn77s90cafxzc what the distance is from the bottom set of the wall mounting holes to the bottom of the TV?
not a bad question, I assume your measuring where to put your mount or in wall box? And Im not sure
@WaltsTV you couldn't of helped him no? Jesus christ.
how is the OTS audio in this tv?
ehh, tbh most tvs need a sound bar but this tv NEEDS a sound bar. if that makes any sense :)
I'm looking to get a new tv for video games. I have a PS5 so this tv would be awesome for that, but I also have some older game consoles that send a 480p signal to the tv. Does anyone know how this tv would handle stuff like that?
just like any other tv, you just need the right adapters!
Does s90c have burn in issue ?
Modern OLEDs have really good anti burn in built into them but its still a possibility. If your someone who watches the news for more than a few hours a day I would never recommend an OLED.
Talked about Tizen 7.0 and left us to imagine it. Great
LOL I didn't realize until I was done editing that I had not gotten any shots of the apps.
here watch the S95C I know I included some shots in there - ruclips.net/video/ugHnYHW054k/видео.html
The companies that build these products apparently only have faith in their product for one year.
yes its unfortunate
Got my s90c and have a LGC2. I like it, it's much brighter. But colors just seem off to me.
yeah i am here watching this video because my LG CX from 2021 is already dead and i can tell its going to take weeks of back and forth with the warranty process. going to go pickup an s90c this weekend, LG can suck it, never again
@@nonyabizz3533 I can comment here with some of the settings I use that may help you with colors. Just let me know.
Not to crap on LG, but I've had a similar experience with them.
Trying to decide between a 77" S90C or an 85" QN90B at the same price? What would you choose?
I have seen both and decided on s90c but if you Believe 8" worth it or watch tv at a very bright room go for the QN90B,if you mostly watch at night/dark room definitely s90c. Else it's mostly preference I think.
I agree with @@polomangr3547
The tv is over a 1k any 500 bucks for a ps5 or Xbox shouldn’t be an issue. If they can’t afford one of those they can’t afford the tv.
Maybe they are casual gamers or don't have room or space to put a ps5. Game hub is a neat feature that is worth mentioning but for serious gamers it will most likely not cut it.
I have sound delay running series x to arc to receiver. I tried the delay adjustment but can't zero it in.
your using the arc with your receiver?
@WaltsTV xbox to arc and other hdmi to receiver. It's the only way I can get all the benefit the Xbox and TV because the receiver is older. Just has sound delay now. Anything else I should try.
@@greenEYEDdj you could use optical
Have you tried receiver to arc and xbox in another hdmi port?
Subbed great informative video 👍
Best Gaming TV.
Thats what Im saying!
how much input lag is it?
shouldnt be much its a quick tv
@WaltsTV that's your answer? "Shouldn't be much" lmao..
It's low as 5.4ms mate, when using 4k 120hz.. so basically, for ps5 and series x, it's lightning.
All these reviewers need to review again but this time review the 77 inch with the second gen panel
77 looks no different, I got to see them all at CEDIA
Do they have a second gen panel?
Awesome video. One question regarding my recent S90C 65" purchase, I immediately noticed a slight angle to the actual unit. It is slightly angled away from the viewing area, has others seen similar concerns on theirs? Obviously this is only a worry if you're not mounting your television.
Thanks! Im not sure what you mean, like the screen seems bent? Or the up and down axis is angled?
@@WaltsTV the axis is slightly angled; top of the TV is slightly further back from viewing area.
@@bklassic914 I’ve seen similar posts on Reddit
On BestBuy, Costco and Amazon buyers have posted pictures with very noticeable bending. One buyer had 3 in a row with bent/warped screen and finally gave up and went with the LG G3. The ones I saw were bent horizontally.
are you sure it comes in 83 inch? I think its OLED and not QD Oled
Yes the 83" version is OLED, Basically same tv but standard OLED vs QD-OLED. So same processing power and refresh rate just not as bright. It is kind of odd that they still call the 83" the 90C.
@@WaltsTV Go Samsung! Go WaltsTV!
DO NOT BUY THE S95C!! YOU WILL BE PAYING SIGNIFICANTLY MORE MONEY FOR A HARDWARE LIMITED S90C. GET THE S90C, SAVE SOME MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND PROBLEMS THAT COME WITH THE S95C!
Please make these videos in HDR
I dont think youtube would like me
It's very refreshing to see a reviewer stress the importance of audio, but that makes it all the more unfortunate and ironic that you only mention soundbars.
Can you share a link to the 83 inch version that’s non-existent? 😂

No 'ONE' HDMI will EVER GIVE YOU ANYTHING BETTER than any other HDMI cable, FACT !!!
If a cable IS HDMI, then That is what it is. A £5.00 HDMI cable will supply as good as a £1000.00 one, FACT !
Nope
"high quality hdmi cable"
sigh...
You talked MORE than you showed us all the TV Picture and sound tbh.
It is a review, I can only repeat the same clip a few times before it gets annoying.
A downside of this model tv is that, as soon you will mount the tv to the wall. The air grid on the back is a true dust catcher, and cleaning can be very hard to reach. Dust will heat the tv up and shorter the lifetime for sure.
yeah, will definitely need to bust out the Swiffer
Ps5 doesnt do 144hz. It does 120. So how did a ps5 convince you of the great 144hz capabilities of this tv
having the extra framerate capability means that at 120 hz this tv is not maxed out. Which makes sense because on 120hz sets you have to have lower brightness settings to be able to actually see the 120hz.
Literally stopped the video when you pitched the “high quality” hdmi cable. I realize it’s an advertisement but you lost any credibility.
people are more then welcome to have their opinions.
To address your point,
The mention is not an "ad" I only include i when talking about quality tvs because if you are buying a 500$ tv I don't think you should be buying a 50$ HDMI cable.
@@WaltsTV just wow at this! And I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt!
the 83 inch is not QD-OLED.
Still looks great!
Review lost all credibility when he pushed an overpriced HDMI cable.
And thats what I would say If I had never heard the difference, if you want to learn more I suggest watching this ---> ruclips.net/video/cnd2Mwc4T3c/видео.htmlsi=czu0hRYc27E1HcC9
It makes much more of a difference in the audio side of things.
That is not normal, doesn't mean the tv is bad. This could be HDMI either loose connection or not a quality cable.
When you make a tv review, explain things by showing the tv and not ur face, i didnt come here to watch you talk, but to watch the tv
I think what your looking for can only be found by actually looking at the tv in person in a retail store. The goal of this channel is to educate and help the average consumer understand it better. Sorry if my face bugs you, this is the first and only comment regarding this so I dont think I have much to worry about!
Hey, man, on the next video step away.
I can't see the tv when you explain things
