Sorry Sis.. I Don't agree with you at all.. Your hair looks exactly how it should. Your hair absolutely wasn't over harvested. And most ppl will agree with me. 😢 You hair looks GREAT!! And your only 6 months in..
Thank you- it's a bit difficult as no one really shows their donor area parted, so when I've parted mine and it looks the way it does I feel really low. But you all are saying thay growth in the donor area may also take 12-18 months to fully see, so that's reassuring- I thought that only applied to the recipient area 🙏🏽
Your hair looks amazing. Yes you should do your best to “calm down and stop worrying about everything” ❤ things seem to be working out and growing really well! I’m just starting journey, so you’re like one the “GO TO” videos for getting through my own process. Thank you again for all of your candidness and transparency during this journey. We’re all here for you and wish you satisfaction in all of this.
Thank you xxxx I'll try too! Aw, that makes me feel happy x you're welcome! It's definitely an emotional roller-coaster! Brace yourself! Thank you soooo much xxxxx
Please do not be disheartened. You are such an amazing person and so precious ....... In your other videos you share about mental health & well being, I can 100% relate! Sometimes when there is too much mental stress, we over worry ourselves . I am just going through this at the moment. Your recipient area looks fabulous, the donor area looks good. Allow yourself a year to see the full overall results. As you know I had a hairline traction alopecia transplant and my recipient area still looks sparse, & the surgeon advised to go back for a second for the middle of my head which has androgenetic alopecia. I'm going to give it a year before I do anything. I can only hope my hair will look as amazing as yours 🙂
Thank you so much for saying this xxx hugs. Thank you so much- yes, Heva outdid themselves when it comes to my recipient area- I take my hat off to them for that. I really hope my donor area looks better as time goes on- I'll try and work on my mental health when it comes to my donor area... Interesting. There are a few youtubers who have considered or who have actually gone for a second transplant- it makes my wonder why the norm for clinics is to do around the 2000-2700 graft mark, if a lot of people or like 50% of people end up needing a second. I've wondered if they do it to get more money. You're right- less wait a year and see if things improve for us- I thought the 12-18 month rule only applied to the recipient area- I didn't know that it also applied to the donor area, but now you all have pointed it out, it makes sense. I don't know why I forgot about it for myself, but have reassured others on youtube about it when they felt down about theirs! Thank you xxx
It doesn’t look over harvested at all. We are our worst critics and I think that’s what your case is right now. You’re just being super critical and it’s a perfectly normal human response. Your results look amazing including your donor area. I had my transplant done on Sept 20 and they did 4100 grafts. Your results give me hope of what’s to come for me.
@SnookieBaby I also follow you on Tik Tok and you gave me the heads up about the Rotana Hotel. When I arrived at the clinic, they said, so many others have also been asking for the Rotana Hotel over the Dedeman. I chuckled and told him that it was because of a Tik Tok influencer. You're definitely making an impact. 😆
Thanks Snookiebaby. Probably- as all of your comments are saying that it looks good/great. Maybe I really need to work on my self-perception / self-esteem. Mmm. Thanks hun xxxx Really? You are literally only the second female I've come across online who has had to get anywhere near 4000 grafs- the only other lady is someone on tiktok and she isn't documenting her journey in a way for us to see her progress etc. Thanks hun- did they tell you from the outset that you'd need that many grafts, or did they tell you you needed less initially, and then change their minds on the day like they did with me?
Heva did a great job. Im at 5 months and my hair front and back looks nothing like yours. You had a successful transplant. It doesnt look sparse. Nobody would even know
Btw, I just got to the end of your video where you showed your hair longer and the parts looks about the same. I think the short length is making you feel that you've been over harvested. I believe it'll turn out just fine and your anxiety is getting in the way. 😊
Thanks- I really appreciate that. The short hair doesn't help AT ALLL!!!! You're so right, come to think of it. Thanks for the reassurance- means more than you'll ever know.
If you do braids like that, of course hair will look sparge. Your hair is very short and you do braids. So your basis is wrong. Your donor area looks absolutely fine for 6 months.
Sis mine looks exactly the same, probably more sparse. I can also feel it when I run my fingers through it. It will 100% grow thicker the longer it grows and the more time has passed. Your hair is going to look amazing when it grows longer and you do twists/twist out, braid outs. Don’t worry your pretty little head ❤️🤗 xxxxx
Thanks for sharing!! Yeah same- when I place my fingers on my scalp at the back I can feel the spots where lots of hair has been taken from one spot- like feeling lots of skin. That's how my edged used to feel before the transplant. Nevermind. It is what it is now, and it could be much worse, so I'll stop complaining... I pray so- I didn't think the 12-18 month rule applied to the donor area, but people are saying it does, so if that's correct, I hope the rest of the hair grows in. The procedure is a lot of trauma to the head after all.. I pray so!!! Thank you, sis xoxoxoxo
Thanks, Matthew. I didn't know it takes a year for the donor area to grow fully too- I thought that only applied to the recipient area! Good to know though- gives me some reassurance!
Hello, I do agree with others. Your hair is fabulous for 6 months hair transplant. I have done mine at Heva too last week. And I am so happy with what they have done. Your scalp especially the donore area is good. Be patient🥰
Only on the day of the surgery itself (included in the package), nothing since then (I refused to spend any more money on this transplant process, so from the get go decided not to get any subsequent prp, lol, but thank God it doesn't seem like I need it anyway).
You would need to part it straight to get better comparison. But in my opinion its not much different to the mini twist video. When your hair grows out it will be fine. When we examine things too hard we start seeing a bunch of flaws that aren't really significant. The main thing is your edges are done well & you have no abnormal bald spots in your whole head. Your fine, give it a year & keep on those tea tree scalp massages to stimulate the hair follicles you do have in donor area❤
mmm- someone else has said this. It's so much effort trying to do neat parts, so I don't even know if I'll try this again any time soon... but good to know anyway. Thanks for the reassurance- you're so right 🤗 Thank you, hun xxx
Looks good to me. You're only at 6 months, and your donor is also recovering from the trauma induced by the extraction process. One of the best results I've seen on your transplanted area for 6 months. All the best 👍
@IntentionalAdulting Thanks to you too for your courage and vulnerability to share your journey with us. I myself went right ahead with Heva, and they took 3000 grafts for my male pattern baldness. Currently, on month 1 and watching your videos helps me tremendously. As a male person, if I can get anywhere near your 5/6 months results, I would be extremely happy. You are doing a good thing for people who have our hair type, and your results look amazing 👏. Hopefully, you will find someone who can help you with tools to better regulate your emotional responses to the triggers that give you stress or anxiety (Trichotillomania). I had a client who was dealing with this. All the best 🙏
You're welcome! So pleased to hear that they've helped! Despite all of my worries, the experience with heva is top notch. I was very impressed with everything when I look at it as on the whole. Aw- that's amazing- I really hope that you do!!! You're so right- I need to work on my mental health and the trichotillomania is proof that I need to. Thanks for the wise words!!!
It looks fine too me. Your hair looks good overall. I do understand that the way you see your hair is different from me but it looks Good. Appreciate your transparency though. Stay blessed.
Sis… your scalp doesn’t look like someone who is ill. I honestly believe that you’re caught up on the numerical differences of what you were told pre op. Your scalp looks fine. I paused the video, flipped my phone and can’t see your description of “a lot of scalp”. Your head of hair is going to be absolutely glorious this time next year!❤ I can’t wait to see your smile then! Don’t worry, fill your mind with positive thoughts concerning what’s to come for your hair. It’s gonna be great!!
Thanks for your input xxxxxx yeah, being told that was a major blow 🥲 but I appreciate that they didn't lie... thank you xxxxx thank you so much! Yes, you're right. Really appreciate your encouragement xxxx
Hmm...I'm not trying to invalidate your feelings but, it looks fine to me for only 6 months of hair growth after being completely shaven. Also, how does it compare to how your hair looked before the transplant at 6 months of growth? I've shaved my head before and this is how my hair looked if I had placed twists in it. If possible, try not to worry because that will just worsen things for you. BTW, I just completed my transplant on 9/26 at Heva clinic as well and I'm excited about the journey thanks to your videos.
Thanks for your input. I'm not sure as I never paid attention to my hair like this when I shaved it down last year, and I never parted it in small parts/twists like this when it was short last year, so I'm not sure. That's really interesting to hear- maybe it's because this is the first time ever that I've twisted my hair like this when it's as short as this- coupled with the fact that the transplant did take quite a lot of follicles out. Thanks for the reminder- all your comments are saying I'm worrying too much, so maybe I need to start emotionally detaching from this transplant and my hair. Very interesting- thanks for sharing and I hope your recovery and growth journey go well!!!
I've seen some 6m results, and they didn't look nearly as promising as yours. I understand the concern, so please give it more time. Your documentation has helped me make the decision to get the surgery.
Thanks, hun xx I love my front but it's the back that's got me extremely worried, but the feedback from you all is really helpful to hear. Maybe it isn't bad as it seems to me x
I think it looks the same as before, but I think you should wait year until you hair grows out more to really judge. I think take a deep breath and relax.
Thanks for your input- I really mean it. Yes, that's what you all seem to be saying, so maybe I should relax. I thought the 12-month rule only applied to the recipient area, but maybe I'm wrong! Thanks though.
You have amazing result. Dont get me wrong, I don't think your donor area over harvested that's the wrong word. You had a hair transplant. Thousands of hair were transfer from the back to the frontal part. It's better to accept that first.
Yeah, you're right- the scalp is unlikely to look exactly the same as it did before the transplant. It's quite difficult to compare as I haven't seen anyone else who's had a transplant part their hair like this to see the scalp more, so looking at it is quite a shock to me, but you're right- it doesn't make sense to expect it to look exactly the same as before. Thank you- I'll try not to worry anymore.
Hello. Thank you for the detailed video and account of your hair transplant experience. I have reached out to HEVA. They quoted 3 different packages. Which one did you choose? Thanks again.
Babe your donor area looks fine to me!!! You’re so focused on the 4000 that you’re now perceiving a negative result when the rest of us don’t see any. Be easy love! You’re psyching yourself out🥰🥰
@@TheWellnessAbbey I had a HT at the end of July and get the feeling of emptiness in the donor area. But I have 4b hair and know that when my hair grows longer, the thick afro hairs will cover the donor area if necessary. Maybe I am to positive, but my initial reaction is that I will have less hair to deal with, but eventually the same length😂
Yeah same- when I touch the scalp back there, i feel bald spots... you're so right- our hair type covers it right up! Lolllllllll- such a great perspective!!!
Hey. I can't remember off the top of my head, but when I did, I did mention it in my videos, so you may have to look back at them, sorry. Also, when I contacted aftercare about how tight my scalp was feeling they advised that I could have been using aloe vera gel or a light natural oil to alleviate that- if I had known earlier then I would have done.
How did you calculate the grafts? I’m curious cause I was quoted 2800 but I’m curious how you know if you’ve been over harvested. I’m nervous cause I want to do mine with heva sometime next year
They told me they had transplanted 4000. I've never heard any female ever whose had a hair transplant day they've had 4000 grafts done, so immediately the clinic told me that my heart sank. Everyone I know and have heard had the usual like 2500 (unless they've had to have 2 transplants).
@@TheWellnessAbbey oh no they told you after your surgery? Did you and the surgeon agree on 2800 grafts and then they over harvested? I’m sorry to hear that. Yes I’ve never heard of women needing that many grafts too
Yes, that's exactly what happened. In my quote they told me it would be 2500-2700 and then when they examined my head in the morning they told me they'd try their best to get around 2700-3000, then next thing i knew when they'd finished everything they told me they'd done 4000. My heart sank and I nearly cried. I knew my hair wasn't high density and also, my individual strands are quite fine, so worry sank in...
I think your in your head.. maybe because its short at the moment you think theres a major different... but it's not... Im A natural hair care specialist and your hair is just not very dense to begin with. Just continue to let it grow out. Trust the process
Thanks, hun xx really appreciate your insight. I also knew I didn't have really dense hair before hand, hence why my heart also dropped when they told me they'd taken 4000 xx
@@TheWellnessAbbey tno to be funny.. but look at it this way.. the average person loses 100 hair a day from natural shedding.. over 30 days ( a month) thats 3000....and we don't even miss those. A person who wears protective styles 1 to 2 months experiences 3000 to 6000 Shed hairs coming out at one time when we take our hair down. 😀 oand it may all So look different becaUse your parts are so random. But have faith love.. your hair and scalp looks perfectly normal
Mmm. Thank you very much, hun. Hmm- that may mean that I experience fewer shedding hairs at the back going forward, since I have fewer follicles there now. I know what you mean- hopefully and prayerfully when it all grows out no one would be able to tell I've had something done. Xxxx
Nah sis I disagree with you and everyone commenting that it's not overharvested is right. I have seen other YT videos that had bad cases of overharvesting and yours ain't it not even close. Remember, continue trusting the process and your hair growth so far has been great. 😎
Thanks for the reassurance, as it's very easy to get worried on this journey. 4000 grafts is A LOT and way more than what I usually hear from other people's journeys - even people with similar hair loss to mine- but it's all good- Heva seemed to know what my hairline needed as it looks great now. I think the ultimate test will be whenever I choose to straighten / flatiron my hair- will I look thin then in the donor area? I'll have to wait and see.... you're right though. No point worrying, just trust heva have done it 'right' and be grateful for my results.
Your hair looks parted not over-harvested. First, I very much appreciate your openness and honesty. However I think you are just shocked that they took 4000 grafts. I personally would have been thanking them. Most doctors don't want to take that much in one sitting. Which I think is based on getting more money for two procedures vs one...mostly...but that just my opinion.
Hey, Melody! Thanks for your input- appreciated. Maybe it's a placebo effect- since they told me they took 4000, it looks overharvested to me, maybe if they hadn't told me (of course I appreciate and would have liked them to tell me anyway), I wouldn't feel this worried about how my scalp looks now. Sigh. Anyway, I've complained enough- all your comments are saying my scalp looks fine, so I'm going to try and stop complaining... Great point- I've seen a couple other ladies speculate the same thing- that maybe clinics do less the first time round so that you come back for a second... nightmare if that's the case...
Nahh i think your results are in line to where they should be at this point. Honestly if in 6 months time youll probably look back at this video and think you were over analysing. Trust the process and keep doing what your doing
You’re good al least to me it doesn’t look over-harvested, i have seen way way way worse. You should search for over harvested victims, who have had transplants and i believe you will feel a lot better when you see an actual over harvest.
It's my genuine feelings filmed over 2 different days, so is my genuine reflections and not clickbait. If you think it is or is misguiding, happy for you to not watch.
I completely disagree. Your hair looks totally normal. If you didn’t say I wouldn’t know you had a transplant. Gratitude is needed bc it looks great. Remember your hair before the transplant.

Thank you very much for the encouragement. You're so right- I've come to realize that now. I am a worrier by nature 😅 thsnk you xxxxx
It looks completely normal to me. But regardless you can't judge anything until 12 months. Good luck!
Thanks hun! Yes, until 12-18 months for the recipient area, but I thought that didn't apply to the donot area- maybe I'm wrong!
Hi, when did you start using hair oil after the hair transplant.
What week did you suffer shock loss, and for how long did it last? Did your hair start growing after a month?
Hey Nana, I can't remember off thr top of my head I'm afraid, but I do cover it in my previous videos if you have a look back. 👍🏽
Your hair looks great for 6 months no bs👊🏿
Thank you so much!!!
It looks fine. Trust the process.
OK, thanks for the reassurance!
Your hair looks really good. Definitely not over harvested.
Thank you very much, Amena xxxx
Girlfriend, your hair looks great! I’m not seeing sparse either!
Thank you, Yolanda !!
Your hair looks great!
Thanks so much, Deborah!
Naw that’s it right there. I watch these videos all day….give it time. I’m a big skeptic of Turkey transplants also but this one looks healthy.
Ah, thank you so much!!!!!
😀 oand it may all
So look different becaUse your parts are so random.
@@TheWellnessAbbey you'll be good my sista. 🙂
MY hair was looking the exact same when I had it braided when it was short so your fine. by 12 months you should be good
Oh that's good to hear- gives me hope!
@@TheWellnessAbbey absolutely good look on your journey 🤗
your hair looks good. I honestly dont see the overharvesting... xx
Thank you xxxxx
I disagree your hair look great.
Thank you, Lakesha xxx
It looks good I don't see anything wrong sis
Appreciated- thank you xxx
Some people i.e. my mum naturally have scalps that look like this so when I saw this video I personally couldn't really see the issue here....
Thanks for your input!!! I didn't realise this but happened to see a girl yesterday with a scalp like mine, too, so you're right. Appreciated!
Nahh i think your results are in line to where they should be at this point. Honestly if in 6 months time youll probably look back at this video and think you were over analysing. Trust the process and keep doing what your doing
Thanks, bro. I hope I will! I'm probably over analysing it as you say. Thanks
Looks quite alright I don't think you were overharvested honestly
Thanks bro
Your hairline looks great 😊❤
Thank you xx
You’re good al least to me it doesn’t look over-harvested, i have seen way way way worse. You should search for over harvested victims, who have had transplants and i believe you will feel a lot better when you see an actual over harvest.
Thanks!!
I think you're being self conscience. you don't look ill AT ALL
Ah, thank you, Robert- means a lot!
Your head looks normal, it's fine. Your hair is just short now.
Thank you for the encouragement!!!
Your hair is bomb.
Thank you!
A clickbait I guess I don’t think this is overharvesting , yet this is definitely overreaction and misguide your followers to get some more views
It's my genuine feelings filmed over 2 different days, so is my genuine reflections and not clickbait. If you think it is or is misguiding, happy for you to not watch.
Yeah!! Your being a bit hard on yourself. Thats how I was. ✌
Thanks so much for your input 😊
I think you were over-harvested, but I think you need to part your hair in straight lines to get a true comparison.
Thanks hun. I may try that and see how it looks. Someone else has mentioned this also, so much be a good idea!
I completely disagree. Your hair looks totally normal. If you didn’t say I wouldn’t know you had a transplant. Gratitude is needed bc it looks great. Remember your hair before the transplant.
