Hi everyone, what’s your golfing goal for 2024?

Start scoring in the 80’s. Still around 93-95 average but I only just got back into golf after ten or more years away from it, so I’ll take it!

As I turn 56 Saturday, focus on striking the ball better rather than trying to chase distance. Btw, I heard on the shoulder/forearm thing, I focus on not seeing my trail/right shoulder in setup-- which I guess is similar to seeing the left shoulder slightly

Goal is to score under 90 for the first time. been stuck at 95-100. And less range time, plan on more playing on the course for practice.

Thanks again for more great advice. I am one of those players that was always told tee it up inside left foot and struggled mightily with a slice, so this is my must do to start the new year.
    Cheers and Happy "24

I actually stated doing this fairly recently and it has definately help my out to in path. My aoa is about -1.5 which is fine for me as I still hit it high at around 2800 spin and average 250meters according to arccos. Not everyone suits hitting up on the ball, for some reason my spin drops way off and it sprays left and right all over the place the more I try and hit up. Ruined my swing for months

A great lesson on hitting the driver Giles and a great way to start the New Year! I try to adhere to your first two tips on hitting the driver better and now will try your suggestion about "hitting the tee rather than the ball!" Always enjoy your lessons Giles! Keep them up in 2024!!
