I've been playing for about 25 years and never really well with the driver. I loved Jack Nicklaus and always imitated his forward press, it seems I need to take that forward press out of my swing, at least for the driver, to see if I can improve my drives. Thanks for the great explanation.

OMG! Where have you been all my (golfing) life!? I have taken so many lessons, and no one has ever explained it quite like u. I am a drills person. Ur drills are perfect. The thing u said that made the most sense to me is, ppl are always saying set the ball off ur front toe or inside heel, and like u said I always said that was too far fwd and I felt like I was chasing or reaching for the ball. And of course, I kept slicing it. When I put it back in my stance I hit a straighter (not straight😊) ball. But when u said that u are the 1st person to say what I have been saying all along. My biggest flaw is in trying turn and create power I sway off the ball and then sway back instead of turning. And then I am way off the ball and produce inconsistent hits. I really think watching ur videos I will get it right. Thank u. Thank u very much.

We still need putting, different bunker shots, hitting on different slopes, how lie changes what you can do and should do. I wanna hear your explanation.

We also need to admit that there is some randomness in those long clubs. Short clubs you can be a lot more consistent and hit to a target with great accuracy. Long clubs like the driver, you can hit a lot further, but the accuracy and directional consistency is compromised. That is even true for touring pros. They miss fairways all the time!
