Michele… I have been a fan of your channel for a while and really like your instructions. You keep things simple and basic. So after a two week stretch of driving the ball poorly I rewatched your driving series. Bingo! Rather than trying to figure out what was wrong I went back to the basics. Setup and take away. Followed your instructions and next time playing I hit 12 out of 13 fairways. (The miss was hitting it too far on a dogleg) Distance was 25 to 30 yards longer too. I am a long time subscriber. I wanted to double check sime advice on set up i received from a 10 year old girl. I drive well. I had my flightscope with me on the range . She told me i could pick up some speed if i stretched my arms out more on driver . It did increase speed. Ball flight remained good. You have confirmed her instruction. Hahaha. And i thought i was elite. Hahahah.

Nicely explained. When you tilt back your weight would tend to shift to your back foot. Then sometimes you get stuck on your back foot on the down swing.
When you tilt to uou right and your weight is more than 50 percent on you right I recommend for you to shift the weight to you left side a bit at set up. Thanks for watching

Michelle is one of the best! Btw should we factor in the shape, elevation and slope direction of the tee box at set-up or will this set-up process account for those differences since it's rarely flat?
Hi Michelle. Love your videos. I'm so used to keeping my shoulders level for all my clubs, irons, fairway woods, driver. Trying the tilt of shoulders with driver I'm finding more trouble hitting straight and don't really gain much more in distance. I'm thinking of continuing with level shoulders. Probably have more backspin but I like how straight my drives go. Average 200 yards. Must just be an old dog. Maybe 15-20 years ago I would drive 250 yds in the middle. Think middle might still be better. And then just have 1 swing for all clubs.
