My daughter, Lesley, set me up on RUclips and introduced me to your videos. I've been ill for a long time and had lost all my strength, balance, and confidence. I did this workout for the first time and, apart from a couple of wobbles, I managed just fine. I've lost 10lbs doing your workouts but more importantly I'm gaining strength, balance, and confidence. Ah, that's great! I do find for most people our energy level is better in the morning for working out...plus, it's not so hot, either. I'm glad to read that you discovered the morning workout is best for you:) Plus, I find it motivates us to eat healthier during the day when we've exercised in the morning.

At my age this was a challenge. BUT I performed everything except those flies with weights. I didn't have time to get those water bottles! The second balance routine was new and that's something I need to work on even though I do various balance exercises about every other day. Hi Jules, In my last post I said "no more afternoons" and here I am at 6:00 pm doing the same workout! But I needed something challenging and fun and I got exactly that. It was my first chance to exercise today and I'm so glad I did it in spite of my past promises! Thank you Jules!
After almost two years of long covid after two bouts of covid this was my first proper work out. I especially appreciated the no chatter as I'm still struggling to concentrate on two things at once. It was enough to make me glow and feel as though I had a good workout, but not enough to make me collapse straight after. Thank you so much. My balance needs so much work still so I held on to the chair all the way through. I loved it and feel fantastic although tired ❤

I didn't start this till late afternoon and it made a huge difference in my energy level (and not a good one) but the workout was great! I would like to try it again sometime in the morning to see how different it might be. The music was great and you were very energetic Jules!
Yes, sometimes workouts can zap the energy and other times it’s the other way around. Good for you for working out, though! Maybe morning workouts are best for you…or maybe a nap after the workout was needed:)

How many days can we restart to move forward? Well, today I am moving forward again. New sneakers (first since 2019), weights... this will have to be for the long haul. I have copied out the set of 12 all in one workouts, and will do 3 a week (interspersed with the normal walling). What can I say but thank you for the opportunity.

I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). Since every person is at a different level, I don't like to class any of them for particular groups. I have lots of 70+ year olds who do my gentle workouts, but then others who love the intermediate level workouts. My suggestion is to try the 'gentle' workouts, see how you feel with those, and if they are too easy, then move to the 'beginner' level. If those are still too easy, you can move to the 'intermediate' level. You can find all of the workouts categorized in the playlists on my channel. Let me know if you need help finding the playlists. It's definitely best to start with the easiest ones first for a few days to know what level is best for you. I hope that helps!

Gosh, I am realizing my balance is not that great and I'm not even 50, yet. It goes to show how important it is to practice balance exercises as we age to prevent falls. I'm happy to read you enjoyed the workout:)

How many days can we restart to move forward? Well, today I am moving forward again. New sneakers (first since 2019), weights... this will have to be for the long haul. I have copied out the set of 12 all in one workouts, and will do 3 a week (interspersed with the normal walling). What can I say but thank you for the opportunity.

What are some of your exercise videos geared more to seniors
I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). Since every person is at a different level, I don't like to class any of them for particular groups. I have lots of 70+ year olds who do my gentle workouts, but then others who love the intermediate level workouts. My suggestion is to try the 'gentle' workouts, see how you feel with those, and if they are too easy, then move to the 'beginner' level. If those are still too easy, you can move to the 'intermediate' level. You can find all of the workouts categorized in the playlists on my channel. Let me know if you need help finding the playlists. It's definitely best to start with the easiest ones first for a few days to know what level is best for you. I hope that helps!
