I'm so sorry this happened to these people. When I came back to riding I went with an older bike for this very reason. Automated systems on a motorcycle does not sit well with me. R.I.P. innocent victim. Better days ahead for you sir.

I have a 2019 Triglide, I got the same recall notification @ November 2022. Dallas Harley Davidson did not have the parts. They scheduled & updated mine In May. I pray to God that this is resolved. But how do I know for sure? This is a tragic story, sorry to hear of your loss.

THIS here is the number one reason when I wanted to convert to a Trike, instead of buying a Harley Trike, I took mine to CSC to have it converted to a Trike.. THIS scares me.. I am so sorry for this mans loss of his lifetime partner.. It is so very sad..
The FACT that Harley DID NOT stand behind their own vehicle is horrible..
My prayers go out to this man and his family and his wife's family.. Such a sad story.. I hurt for him.. I cannot imagine..

@@whdbnrm3023 Or maybe he is suing so that other people will not have to go through what he has with the death of his wife. Harley is known for letting things side year after year. Our friends lost their lives on a trike. They were driving 65 miles mph and all of the sudden they just hit the side of the rail and the wife went over the freeway. Both lives lost and they both just retired. This happened 2 years ago and we never thought their was a problem w their trike. I wonder....

They didn't change anything it was new technology for them. 2019 was the first year Harley offered traction control on any of their bikes. They picked the trikes first. The rest of the touring bikes got it in 2020.
