Thanks for the look inside. I love these towers. Sound great and built like tanks. 111 lbs each and the sturdiest grills I’ve seen. Well done Arendal!
No problem brother. Yes they are, that grill will stop any out of control kid lol.
Crossover and terminal plate are very impressive looking
Arendal is state of the art in its pricepoint and dont forget they come with 10 year warrenty as well
Thank you for doing this!!
Great video, they seem well made, especially for the price. Have seen speakers double the cost and not built that well. Kudo's to Arendal
Good to see that Arendal cares about providing a good quality speaker.
I have all Arendal in my setup and I love them. I have a lot of the lineup:
Front Left/Right = Arendal 1723 TOWER THX, Center = Arendal 1723 CENTER THX, Surround Left/Right = Arendal 1961 MONITOR, Surround Rear Left/Right = Arendal 1961 MONITOR, Height Front Left/Right = Arendal 1961 BOOKSHELF, Height Middle Left/Right = Arendal 1961 BOOKSHELF,Height Rear Left/Right = Arendal 1961 BOOKSHELF
I certainly wouldn’t have the Balls to disassemble my speakers (So, I’m happy you did…lol), but I will always watch a video where the components used are put on display. I know that love my Arendal’s, but it’s nice to see what’s actually making them sound great. The quality is unmatched by some speakers costing way more, Excellent Value, Great Sound…Great Video!!
Wow, what an incredible setup you have brother, it must sound phenomenal. I don't know if I would have had the balls to do this to my own speakers lol, but Arendal was okay with me doing this teardown on this review set...thanks Arendal.
I am thinking between 1723 tpwers and monitors with subwoofer. Is there any difference in sound between your monitors and towers?
I am glad you were able to do this so that I didn't have to.
.. I can now see why these weight 111lbs each.
Great idea for a video !
This is very helpful to me. I am in the market looking to upgrade my front speakers, a pair of the Polk Audio RP-2000P I bought in 2010. I am looking at Klipsch RF-7III, Polk Audio L600, and Polk Audio L800. The Arendal 1723 THX will be on the list. I need a tall speaker, at least 46 inches in height.
Thank you Sir! Appreciate your time and effort in creating this video. Just ordered a pair these speakers. Great job! 👍👍
Congrats on the purchase...cheers.
Me gustan estos Aredal, tienen una construcción fantástica. Estoy dudando si comprar este modelo o Whaferdale elysian 4.
Las elysian se van casi el doble en precio pero suenan espectaculares y su construcción es increíble.
Great video❤
Thank you 😊.
Thank you!
You're welcome
Great video! For some reason I have to disassemble all my speakers to see what's going on in there. I've been curious after watching your content when you compared the 1723 to the Ultra towers, I have the towers but I'm looking for a step or two better. That or I'll order the crossover upgrade that's offered by a fellow youtuber.I'm not a huge fan of the side firing woofers. Makes placement more difficult. Is the 1723 that much better than the Ultras in your opinion or should I keep looking? I do love the look of the 1723.
My 1961 monitors are little tanks, I am not surprised how good they are.
Don't know if you'll see this comment, but I'm torn between these and the new SVS Ultra Evolution Pinnacle speakers. Thoughts?
If you already had a svs ultra towers, center, and bookshelf system, would the Arendal 1723 s thx set up be a worth while upgrade?
I don’t think so… arendal could be slightly better but not $$$ difference in sound…. Just my opinion
There's already a dedicated video on this channel 🙄
Nicely Done.
No sound impressions ?
Thanks
Looks like you've just make other videos with that info.
they are very good speaker.
Drivers are all from peerless. Makes sense. Can probably pick up replacements from parts express if you f one up.
On Arendals website it states that the drivers are all custom built and cannot be bought from anywhere else. No idea if it's Arendal that actually manufacture them though🤷🏼
@@jaseamondo it's a peerless driver through and through, maybe with tweaks for Arendal, but the whole driver is based around a patented peerless driver from years back. Good drivers for sure
@@Luke-qs2cg I absolutely don't know enough about it to say any different. They do mention about sticking with tried and tested processes, so it's entirely possible that's exactly what they have done. No point trying to reinvent the wheel and all that.
@@Luke-qs2cg definitely looked like Tymphany/Peerless drivers. I worked for them for 2.5 years and they look like a variation of some drivers they gave me for a build as a leaving gift.
Correct. HDP 830 series from peerless. Only their own Button on backside. 😅😅😅
Do i see some new cables laying on those Valencia seats?!?
Really nice build quality for a speaker especially considering the price point!
Lol, man you guys notice everything. I had a friend of mine lend me some cables, he wants me to try them out.
Does the magnet look like that because of magnetic shielding?
Yeah you got it, it's a shielded motor.
No its a rubber band for a cleaner look, pure aesthetic.
@palmspar It's not rubber, it's metal shielding.
@@SpecOfTech
You are right, the 1723s series have rubber around the magnets.

Look @ min 39.35 for the 1723 s driver
Awesome 😎👍
Nice.
I am new to your channel and I am keen to know your home cinema setup pls - I like the look of your tower speakers and center.. pls let me know what you have decided to purchase personally , thanks
Great video. Hope you didn't kill your warranty, YIKES!
These were sent to me for review, I didn't buy them. I'm surprised they gave me permission to take them apart...big thank you to Arendal.
@@SpecOfTech They are a great bunch of people for sure. Glad you were able to do that. Thanks again, lucky dog! as they use to say when I was a kid.
Do you need to take out the jumpers when using the speakers?
No, you only take out the jumpers if you want to bi-wire or bi-amp the speakers.
Thanks so much for your response. Deeply appreciated. I also got the same response from Kristoffer from Arendal this morning. Doubts and problem solved.
Sorry, just noticed that you have answered that already..
Hey.. Just Want To Know ( Anybody Please!!!!) How Good They Really Sound, Far As HOME THEATER 🎥 SET UP AND MUSIC????
Did you watch my review on these speakers?
,Yeah My Bad!!! I Do Remember Now! Talking About , When U Did The 1 With Klipsch, Svs Ultra Towers, & The Arendal 1723. Yeah! Makes Me Want To Watch It Again, But You're Absolutely Right!
Great video
Thanks Jamie.
Great video love to see how speakers are built. Only disappointing thing is that Made in China! Not cool.
Think of them as assembled in China, parts are quality but if assembled in the USA (for example) the speakers would be more than double the price
Same as SVS , Marantz etc etc
grate video. all the other youtubers are useless asfk -.-
Lmao, that is some compliment, thank you!
SLOW down...
There’s no reason for you to tear down this speaker other than proof that you can!
I'll let the views decide that, if it gets a lot of views and people find it helpful...then I will do more like it. If people don't find it helpful then I'll reconsider.
are you really chastising a grown man for making you free content that let's us see inside a speaker he bought!??!😂😅 I mean he paid for it , if he wants to stuff a stick of dynamite in the speaker and blow it up that is his prerogative 😂. Personally it was fascinating to get a look inside these speakers.
@@keepingupwiththejones2933 I guess you can't please everyone haha. Just for the record, I didn't buy these, Arendal sent them for review. I'm surprised they gave me the go ahead to take them apart, but they are very transparent, and want people to see their product inside and out.
👍👍@@keepingupwiththejones2933
