    Hey Noggi, try out the Data Transfer Modifier instead of the Transfer Weight Operator. The Data Transfer Modifier is great for multiple things as you can see in the modifier. The cool thing is that the Data Transfer is not destructive, unless you apply it. Then all you need to do is change the body's weights without needing to touch the armor again.
    Example:
    -- For this instance, just parent the armor parts to the armature like normal. More or less needs the same armature parent as the source object.
    # Then add a Data Transfer Modifier to the armor. Make sure this modifier is set before Subdiv, Solidify, and Bevel modifiers.
    # Now set object source like the Transfer Weight Operator.
    # Toggle in the modifier. Vertex Data and Vertex Groups in Vertex Data
    # Hit the [Generate Data Layers] button if you need to add more vertex groups from the source.

    • @Noggi_3D
      @Noggi_3D  Год назад +1

      Oh interesting! I've never used that modifier before, but it sounds like I should start. :D

    Your colors and designs are like the best in the world you should practice adding wrinkles and pores and make these really realistic that'd be cool to me...then you could command more money for these...you should sell em anyways....and provide....a link to a yt Tutorial that will teach somebody how to make wrinkles and pores with the download that you sell so people with one step...can get a $300 model for $30... If you're going for stylistic just practice matching yansculpts a little bit better and you'll be just as good as he is with but with better colors and style... Just looking out for your man you're right on the edge of being like one of the best ever

      He used and addon called softwrap, you use a standard head with good topology and the addon adapts the shape to your sculpted head and allows you to tweak it, somehow like a shrinkwrap modifier but more intuitive and with more tweak options. I used the head example but basically you can do it with any mesh, you adapt a good topology mesh to your sculpt, like if it was a cloth that you put on it and can easily adapt it and tweak it
