I am so grateful that Yah guided me to this channel because He pointed out to me that I was not keeping to the Feasts of First Fruits, with Counting the Omer, Shavuot the understanding of them. I have read the scriptures on it and I was very much under the impression that this was to be done by the priests however, I am also realizing, confirming what you said, there are not a lot of teachings on this subject matter. Thank you for being a vessel teaching Yah's Word correctly. HalleluYah!

      In Acts there’s 5 chapters on Shavuot, ch 1, 2, and 3.
Ch 20 they are counting the 7 sabbaths from unleavened bread to Shavuot & Ch 21 Paul is in Jerusalem and also taking a Nazareth vow of Torah on Shavuot as well as other stout believers taking a Nazareth vow on Shavuot
He also takes a numbers 6 Nazareth vow in Acts 18.
And they offer the numbers 6 offerings of the vow.
In Zechariah 14 the last few verses we will be sacrificing and doing the Holy Days in the 1000 year reign.
In Psalm 51 is His plan of Salvation since the beginning of time.
He expects the slaughtered heart but also the gifts of sacrifice but only after a slaughtered circumcised heart.

It appears that many Messianic believers often seem to not yet understand that we *are* able to correctly observe all of God’s appointed times regardless of the physical temple being destroyed (by God’s will), because we are the priests of the New Covenant, and the New Covenant temple is within each of us as the Father and the Son abide inside of us through their Holy Spirit. Once the true Passover Lamb - Jesus Christ, Yahshua Messiah - has been sacrificed once to wash away the sins of all, there is no more any requirement of another physical temple to be used again for such sacrifices which were never able to wash away the sins of humankind. 🙏🏼😎❤️

YAHUSHUAH told parables about the Harvest Time Event as gathering of wheat. Shavuot is the Wheat Harvest Feast. The Second Coming is also shown as a Harvest Time Event in Revelation 14, which will be in Sukkot, the Fall Harvest Feast.

i have also come to the understanding that Pentecost is most like when the wedding feast happens, and perhaps this feast lasts until Trumpets. my currently understanding is that Messiah will return in the spring on either Firstfruits (the day He ascended to the Father) or Pentecost, the wedding Feast will occur on Pentecost and perhaps last until Trumpets when He and all His who have already been changed into spirit will destroy those armies surrounding Jerusalem and set up His kingdom here upon this earth for 1000 years. i also believe all this will most likely happen within the next decade or so... but only the Father knows the hour. ;-)

The 50th day is the day after the 7 sabbaths (7x7=49) are complete (so Shavu’ot is on a Sunday according to our interpretation). It is a mirror of the 50 year Jubilee. Only 50, not 100. I hope this helps you to clarify :)

@@Redeemed12 Sorry not yet ... Leviticus 23:15-17 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
16Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the Lord.
I think this word "Even" deserves a closer look in its usage here. Consider what Websters 1828 Dictionary states about "even" as an adverb.
E'VEN, adverb e'vn. Noting a level or equality, or emphatically, a like manner or degree. As it has been done to you, even so shall it be done to others. Thou art a soldier even to Cato's wishes, that is, your qualities, as a soldier, are equal to his wishes.
      1. Noting equality or sameness of time; hence emphatically, the very time. I knew the facts, even when I wrote to you.
      2. Noting, emphatically, identity of person.
And behold I, even I, do bring a flood of waters on the earth. Genesis 6:17.
      3. Likewise; in like manner.
Here all their rage, and ev'n their murmurs cease.
      4. So much as. We are not even sensible of the change.
      5. Noting the application of something to that which is less probably included in the phrase; or bringing something within a description, which is unexpected. The common people are addicted to this vice, and even the great are not free from it. He made several discoveries which are new, even to the learned.
Here also we see the sense of equality, or bringing to a level. So in these phrases, I shall even let it pass, I shall even do more, we observe the sense of bringing the mind or will to a level with what is to be done.
The sentence starts with "Even." And that word suggests balance, parallel, similar... So maybe it's saying, after you complete counting 7 Sabbaths, on the next day begin counting the next part which is 50 days, there's a pattern there.
      What do you think?

The Temple Feast of Weeks started one week earlier than the Qumran communities Feast of Weeks. Their Day of Pentecost was therefore one week earlier.
How do we know which one of four different Feast of Weeks starting dates are correct for the correct Day of Pentecost ????
The solution is in the sum of the numerals in the eight Sabbath Day dates of the count - starting the tally from Sabbath Day ZERO.
The sum of the numerals in the CORRECT eight Sabbath Day dates will add up to 49, thus confirming the Sadducees "Aristocratic method" of starting the count from the weekly Sabbath Day ZERO in the Feast of Unleavened Bread - no other method gives this 49 day tally to the 50th Day of Pentecost ! ! !
This affirms the 18th Abib resurrection Sabbath and the 19th Abib start of the Exodus 40 years launch into the wilderness - after being taken out of the Egyptian pit through the Red Sea on the weekly Sabbath day !
The resurrection was on Sabbath day ZERO - the 18th Abib.
The 1st Sabbath after - the 25th Abib.
The 2nd Sabbath after - the 2nd of month two.
The 3rd Sabbath after - the 9th of month two.
The 4th Sabbath after - the 16th of month two.
The 5th Sabbath after - the 23rd of month two.
The 6th Sabbath after - the 30th of month two.
The 7th Sabbath after - the 7th of month three.
    18+25+2+9+16+23+30+7=
    130
    1+3+0= 4
These 13 digits making up the Sabbath day dates, also add up to the 49 day tally to Pentecost on the 50th Day - the 8th of the third Biblical month on our 27th of May:
    1+8+2+5+2+9+1+6+2+3+3+0+7=
    49 !
    4+9=13 !
12 disciples and Christ the 13th.
This confirms the DSS's solar calendar as the correct Biblical calendar, but with THIS Feast of Weeks tally, NOT the one starting a week later that the Qumran community endorced.

One thing made me uncomfortable, though. You said your one complaint about the book of Hebrews was how the writer used the feast of atonement to try to convince his brethren. And then you said if you were the writer, you would have used Passover. Sir, if Ruach breathed into these men and told them what to write, are you saying Ruach was mistaken? @@cheryls3777 Okay, let's have a bible study; not a bible competition.
We are not competing here. Just sharing the gospel.
      1. You said "resurrection at the end of Passover". That is impossible. Passover is only for one or two hours. It is a meal eaten close to midnight.
You seem to be saying the Passover lasted for days. No. Passover is on the 14th of Nisan at twilight. It is not from the 11th to 14th to make 3 days and nights.
Yeshua is NOT the Passover lamb. There is no where it is said that he is the Passover lamb. He is the lamb that takes away our sins; atonement lamb.
He is the lamb that takes away the sins of the world. That is not the Passover lamb.
The Passover lamb did not take away sins. It is for DELIVERANCE from the hand of the devil. The sins of the children of Israel were not forgiven by the Passover lamb.
Jesus is our "Passover", not "Passover lamb". Passover is the entire process of deliverance from slavery. Passover = Deliverance.
Deliverance is different from atonement or forgiveness.
Jews eat Matzah for Passover. The flesh and blood Yeshua gave as Eucharist is also Matzah and wine.
The ideal substance for the Holy Communion is Matzah. I don't know if that is done or not done. But that is not the big issue. The word "Eucharist" shouldn't throw off the fact about Christ not dieing before the Passover.
I also see that you are trying to fit in 3 days and 3 nights to match with the first day of the week. That is not fitting. There is a different explanation to that.

"Judaism counts the Omer [50 days] differently than Messianics".
Judaism CHANGED the counting of the Omer to remain set apart

Instead of counting from the day after the Shabbat, they count from

The year you find online is about 200 yrs off. We are actually in approx. year 5977 to 5992 depending on how you calculate it. Here is my calculation: Arphaxad was born around 2301 BC (1658 years after Adam was created), which was two years after the flood, putting the flood at 2303BC.
The year of the exodus took place 1446BC. Add to that the 400 yrs in slavery + 2,108 yrs from Adam to Jacob and you get 3,954 years (BC). 3954BC is the starting point give or take a few years. The four hundred years in slavery included four generations starting with Joseph and Levi. Levi's descendants are: 1) Levi, 2) Kohath, 3) Amram, and then 4) Moses.
3954BC - 1658 (year in which Arphaxad was born) = 2300BC + 2 (yrs after flood in which Arphaxad was born) = 2303BC = yr of flood.
3954 + 2023 = 5977 (approx age of earth plus a couple decades as I haven't taken into account the years between Jacob and when Joseph went to Egypt, which I think was about eighteen years and so we could be in year 5995.).

should change the title of this.. maybe just Feasts.

    • @kolyomhashem8711
      @kolyomhashem8711 7 лет назад

"Feasts" is also misleading since it means coming together to eat a lot.
The proper translation is "Appointed Time[s]" - Moed...Moadim.
The Hebrew is very significant because it plays into a major MISinterpretation
of prophetic scriptures in Daniel and Revelation. There we find the phrase "time, times, and half a time".
In Rev 12:6 we find "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days." Here it's clearly 3 1/2 years. This refers to the time immediately after the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD, when the
disciples fled to Petra in Jordan.
In Rev 12:14, "And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent." This refers to the present with the Jewish people returning to the land of Israel.
People assume this is also 3 1/2 years, BUT the Hebrew "moed, moadim, v'chetzi moed" is NOT 3 1/2 years. On the contrary, the word moadim would have to be moadayim to mean 2 years. Therefore, moadim leaves us with an
UNDETERMINED amount of time.......which agrees with the word of Yeshua, "No man knows the hour or day...." Remember, assumption is the mother of error.

people do not read and just go with the traditions of man.
    Exodus 23:15-16
Says to count Omar 7 weeks and then count another 50 days.
First time He came off the mountain he broke the tablets for their idolatry for worshipping the gold calf. So He did not give the Commandments then and had to go back up to get the commandments and bring them back down again and that’s when he gave the Torah to them.
At least that what scriptures says.

Shavuot is when the Rapture Resurrection of the Church will happen, June 11-13 2024, during one of those three days. Revelation 14:14-20 , expresses Yahushuah Ha'Mashiach as an Angel with a Sickle in both events, the Rapture Resurrection of the Church and the Second Coming. These are both Harvest Time Events. The Second Coming will happen during Sukkot, October 15-22 2027 , on one of those days.
