The doctors butchered and mutilated her body at her parents urging. This poor soul has been so abused and treated so carelessly her whole life, and for what. To further agendas and make her parents rich. So sad and sickening the way this person has been treated. I pray Jazz finds purpose and happiness in their life.

As a woman who suffered with severe postpartum depression, it makes my blood boil when people are so dismissive of sex hormones and the psychological effects they can produce. Hormones are not harmless and not reversible. My heart aches for Jazz. Shame on Jazz’s Munchausen mother.

Exactly think about what happens to kids when they go through puberty. The whole extreme behavior that can come out in many kids during this time because of their hormones. Look at how emotional women get during pregnancy. Look at what happens to women every time they go to their menstrual cycle. Then what happens to women when they go through menopause. It's pure hell if you don't know what's going on. Men go through a similar thing but they don't call it menopause. Hormones are a crazy thing and they're not to be played with. I had partum depression with my first son. I got through it okay but some women don't. Especially if it's bad enough to where they end up having postpartum psychosis. I cannot imagine how it would be on a male to be pumped full of female hormones. It is natural with in the female body but it still reeks havoc on us. I can't imagine what it do does to males body. Same thing goes for male hormones being pumped into a female. It Just doesn't make any sense.

I had a toddler who insisted she was a dog. She crawled around on all fours, barked and drank from a bowl on the floor. I didn't go out and buy her a collar and leash. I let it play out and she moved on of her own volition. It seems to me that her parents reinforced an innocent behavior and molded her because of their mental illnesses. I think munchausen syndrome fits the profile of the mother. What happened to jazz is unforgivable. A life was ruined for fame and fortune. Just tragic.

I remember a transman saying something like, "Kids need to go through puberty in order to really know if they have gender dysphoria." I feel terrible that Jazz is going through all of this.
And it's true. I remember in my early teen years I wanted to be a woman. I was more vulnerable and week then most of the boys. But now I am 27 and I wouldn't want to be anything else than a man.
That makes sense.
That is true however it is a mental illness and still should not be indulged with surgery, I don't understand how humanity has lost their way but with this particular mental illness they don't seem to want to treat it but embrace it. There is no other mental illness treated with surgery and anyone that thinks it should should have their ability to practice medicine revoked.

I really don't think you can understand your sexuality before reaching sexual maturity. I'm thankful my awful teenage decision making didn't involve removing my penis. I made plenty of dumb decisions but imagine people grooming you into self mutilation. Poor "jazz"
I am the same age as Jazz. I grew up as a Tom boy. I cut my hair short, had my family call me a boy name, wore my brothers hand me downs, played with the boys at recess. Everything that would make a “modern parent” think they had a trans kid. I remember telling my parents I wanted to be a boy. They let me be and I grew out of it. Shocker. Now I’m a mother and so so glad my parents let me be who I was without assigning labels or messing with my hormones/ body. I can’t imagine the despair I would be in now if they had done what these parents did. Absolutely tragic. Now Jazz has no genitals, how do you reconcile with that? I don’t see this ending well……
I think we all know how it will end. There is no solution here. It will be a downward spiral, unless somehow (he/she whatev) can make peace with the situation. However that would take a titanium willpower every day, and the cracks are showing.
Normal outcome is suicide. It can go to Canada. They can help.

Yeah, my parents didn’t really stop me from doing girly things as a kid. I think most people would be mad about that, but it really helped me integrate what was obviously a more-feminine temperament into being a well-adjusted male. Acknowledged I was gay at about 15, but totally content being a male. Turns out, this is extremely common for males who identify themselves as gay later on in life. As kids, something like 70% of boys who do “trans” things end up settling into their sex and are just gay. If I was a kid today? My parents may have sterilized me and encouraged me to pretend to be a female. Im so lucky my parents just left me alone to figure it out.
This kid will probably commit suicide and his parents will be to blame. If mommy wanted a girl they should have tried to conceive another child instead of mutilating their son.

The idea that one can understand their own sexuality well enough before puberty to make permanent medical decisions is absolutely ridiculous.
They claim it’s not about sexuality and is about “gender” which they put on the highest pedestal. They feel like a life with no orgasms and no biological children are not as important as “affirmation”. That’s how they are able to rationalize this.
Jazz's family is always bragging about how they didn't force transition and they just let Jazz "lead the way". But they were the ones who put the idea of "having a girl's brain in a boy's body" in Jazz's mind. Kids can't think about long term consequences of their decisions.
I'm glad this story is recorded so others can see the real tragedy behind it.
My theory is Jazz's mother didn't want a son but instead wanted another daughter. She brainwashed her son into thinking he's a girl. I can tell by watching these clips and reactions like she's hiding her true motive for Jazz.

I think the biggest indicator that this is a disturbing case is that at 15 months old, a toddler unbuttoned a button up onesie and the parents decided that meant their son should be their daughter. This is a clear indication that this transition was directed by the parents, NOT by the child. Especially since they began socially transitioning before seeking out a paediatrician.
This is insane. I can't believe no one has ever called her on this! All four of my kids, as all kids do, at around one, learned how to unsnap and unzip clothes. Drove me crazy! They also learn how to undo and take off diapers. It's just kids playing and figuring out the world.
If parents overreact to every time a kid undos or takes off their clothes all psychologist would be over worked millionaires. Kids don't like clothes and they will take any opportunity to not be in them, and anyone with kids knows this
My daughter always took off all her clothes n diaper constantly at age 9 months. I never once thought she would grow up to be a stripper. Today she is a mother and wife and NEVER became a stripper. Smh

My daughter decided at 2 years old that she would no longer wear girl clothes and would pitch a fit if I tried to put a dress on her. She wore her brothers old clothes for years and got a boys haircut. BUT when strangers would refer to her as a boy she would correct them saying she is a girl with a boy haircut. My girl is the classic tomboy but she is a girl, knows she is a girl and is happy being a girl.
One of Brad Pitt's daughters has only just started changing her look to more feminine at 15. Until then she wore boyish clothes and short hair. No one ever suggested she was trans. Though if she hadn't updated her look recently I bet they would've spectulated.

My daughter thought she was trans for about 2 months. I didn't foster this. I told her she's just a tomboy and its okay not to be feminine. She stopped with the trans stuff shortly afterwards and had embraced being a female. Its all about how the parents handle the situation.

when my child was 12 he came home and told me he was bi-sexual when I asked him to explain to me what this means he states " I have friends that are both boys and girls" I then decided to explain to him what it really meant. After our conversation my child then says " mom I am NOT bi-sexual". When I asked him why he thought this he stated that all the kids in school are saying they are bi-sexual. hmmmmmm tell me its not being shoved down our kids throat

A lot of parents let their kids on the internet and have phones in elementary school. I remember my nephew was only 8 and I asked him. What do you know about being gay? And he said that being gay was cool and I said, ....is it OK for boys to wear dresses and he said yes duh smdh They have completely brainwashed the kids.

Step one is getting social media under control. It's designed to suck you down ideological rabbit holes like this. The teachers in school were raised on social media so they reinforce the brainrot the kids pick up when they're unsupervised online. Am childfree but would never let my child on social media. There needs to be a campaign like there was for cigarettes so social media can start getting restricted. Like all this stuff wasn't so crazy until social media got big.
Girls at my high school were saying that too and it wasn’t even really a topic in 2002. I was a little older than your son when I realized I really wanted to date girls and that’s who I had crushes on. I didn’t come out until I was 15 though. I think it’s okay for kids to know this stuff in passing (My mom was my primary sex ed and she was a nurse) but they don’t need intimate details.

I told my child that they weren’t gay or bisexual or pan! There were just a kid that needed to have fun get through school and be ready for life and at 18 she could be anything she chooses. Until then she’s a teenager! She is now married to love and is a mom. At her wedding she told me how great full she was that I allowed her to just be a kid and protect her from ruining her life.

Fully agree! I have a 14-year-oldvwho is currently struggling with her identity because of all this trans nonsense being pushed into our kids these days! She told her school that she wanted to be called "he," and be described as a boy. I get SO confused when I get letters from her school talking about "my son." She wanted hormone treatment at one point, and he Dad and I were both very FIRM that that's not going to happen. When she is 18+ then she can do whatever she wants, but until then, WE the PARENTS make those decisions, and we would not let any of our children make a permanent, life-changing decision like that as a CHILD. It's just like allowed your CHILD to get a tattoo on their forehead...permanent, irreversible, and will change the trajectory of their life entirely, and they WILL regret it one day.

As a mother of a 15 month old, I about died when I heard the bodysuit story. My daughter always steals her dad's hat and "brushes" her chin with his beard comb. She also is obsessed with her hair bows and glittery shoes. They have absolutely no clue at that age. She also is thrilled when she can squirm out of her clothes, because that's a normal phase in many babies... girls and boys alike. Pulling clothing off is fun for them. That mother is insane. Creating your child's "identity" out of developmentally appropriate play is evil.

First it was once she was a girl she’ll be happy, then it was once she had bottom surgery she’d be happy, then it was once her bottom surgery stops being painful then she’ll be happy, then it was once she gets into Harvard (lol) she’ll be happy... Life is hard. Idk why people blame her transition. She genuinely seemed happy, up until her surgery, I believe she had complication. After that I noticed she became more of a recluse. Either way, people focus on her being trans and not the fact that being exposed that young to public scrutiny is already difficult. Look at most child stars who fell off due to mental stress. The girl needs a break. She’s so smart, and kind. A few years ago I was extremely suicidal. And I relate to jazz a lot with that. She has a very loving and supporting family, yet she feels lonely and like she’s living in anguish. I used to be happy and full of life, and then one day I wanted to end it all. It felt like a switch went off, it wasn’t gradual, one day I was happy and full of life, then next I saw no meaning to life. I can’t imagine how she feels, being attacked by transphobes since she was 6.
The unfortunate truth will be exposed in how this all plays out. I rarely advocate for "parent-icide" (made up word) however I do believe most people's mental problems can be traced directly back to their parents and their upbringing. This mother monster, shouldn't be a**ve. I'm afraid the end plays as either sui*cide, or m*rder sui*cide, and given the circumstances I would not fault jazz for it. A part of me hopes to see the headline one day of Jeanette being found in the most disassembled of manors. I know it's wrong to feel that way but im a father and my boys are my life. Though grown now I would still give my life without any thought to save either one. This mother has no business having influence on even a popcorn fart.
Rn she seems depressed by an eating disorder. Her sister told her to treat her body like a temple and by the gods she donated a lot of food to it. Can happen to anyone, not every mental issue can be attributed to being trans.

I have watched all of Jazz's episodes beginning with Barbara Wawa's segment. I was curious as to how she would cope with her transition. I was especially appalled by the arguments the doctors had will performing the sex change surgery. The trans doctor should have NEVER agreed to do the surgery when she knew it was hopeless and never been done before on someone who had almost no penis to use. Seeing Jazz cry because she didn't feel like herself tells us all we need to know about her transition being a mistake. I heard on another RUclips video about this same subject, I will paraphrase: "They made a hardware fix for a software problem." There is no doubt in my mind that Jazz regrets her decision and her mother is the most guilty of pushing Jazz to perform.

The mom forced this on Jazz. You could tell in the beginning that Jazz' dad wasn't down with it, but he wasn't strong enough to say anything.

When I was 15 I thought getting a tattoo on my lower back was something that I couldn't live without. I begged and begged my mom. Finally she gave in and signed for one. When I was younger I got Braces on my teeth. It was NOT the most pleasant experience I have had but I got through it. Some years later my cousin was going to get braces and had some concerns and my mom asked me to talk to her and told me to NOT say anything bad about my experience. I was TRUTHFUL with my cousin and yes she DID get braces. Years after she thanked me for being truthful to her. NEVER SUGAR COAT THINGS!!!!!! Ah. Braces... Didn't get them till after high school, so the orthodontist was worried the two halves of my upper arch had fused/sealed together. So for the first few months of expansion, the expander was more or less drilled into my skull (a better anchor for widening the upper arch). But in spite of the worry of pain/how gorey and weird it sounded, I mentally charged headfirst into the operation because I was focused on the promise of a wider upper arch, aka the ability to floss- like actually take care of my teeth. It hurt during every expansion turn and wire adjustment, but my orthodontist did an amazing job, and I am taking better care of my teeth every day.

@@eerielamp I think, If memory serves I was still in Jr High BUT because my mouth was small I had to have 4 healthy teeth removed to give the others room! And I HAD the WIRE type braces with the bands that went around the tooth. The wires had to be tightened every month or so as the teeth moved!

i used to watch “I am Jazz” on TLC when I was in middle school/ high school. Jazz I believe is a year older than me so watching something like her reality show was something new and the fact that she was similar in age as I am i was intrigued to learn about her experience and her transitioning. Her mom on TV seemed supportive but also you could see she’d tell Jazz how to feel or sometimes even speak for Jazz, she seemed controlling and fake. Like her kid’s transitioning was for her and not her kid. I felt bad for Jazz a lot actually she struggled a lot and she was very open. she loved her supporters she seemed very sweet from what I saw on tv. I think she was put into this situation at such an early age and the fact that she still speaks her mind despite what her mother tells her says a lot about Jazz. Children playing shouldn't be taken so seriously that you physically destroy their bodies forever. I have four sons and two daughters. When I was explaining to my two year old and my four year old (son) that I was growing a baby inside me. My son said he wanted to have a baby when he got big. I said that only girls could have babies and he started to cry. I went on to explain all the things that daddies could do, and he would be able to do those things.

My daughter at around the age of 10 started dressing in boys clothing. She had been outgoing child who liked to present as a female. My husband passed away, her father and then COVID hit. She gained weight, had a mask on all the time like we all did. But then when it was okay to take the mask off she continued to wear it and she started dressing very masculine. I don't care. I love my daughter but I was wondering what is going on. She told me after many conversations and after going to therapy that she wanted to dress like her daddy and be like him because she missed him so much. I told her you can dress like him all you want. I let her go through that period and after 2 years she is the most girly girl I've ever seen in my life. She is more confident with herself than she ever was before. She is now 13 years old. I shudder to think if I would have promoted her to become a male! She was just a child she was working through something and now she is still working through things but how dare a parent make that decision for a child.
I also dressed very masculine since I was a teenager up to early 20s. I never thought that I was a boy, I just liked dressing that way. Now I barely ever wear anything but dresses.
the thing is, that wouldn't have been the worst thing, since the goal in therapy when you want to get approved for hormones or anything is that they check if you actually exhibit any real signs that youre trans and treating that critically so you really wont regret medical transition. in america, many doctors started being more open and not checking it so thoroughly, because trans folk pushed back because of waiting times that took ages. you can understand this, because they know theyre trans and know what they want. a minor may not, and not being thorough enough can give them a lot of regret later in life. im trans myself, getting approved for T, and can see why my process is so long. it really does suck, since i know 100% what i want, but its super understandable

My cousin’s daughter did this, but since she was already 16, she went on hormones and had first of 8 surgeries, at 18. Her birth father passed suddenly at 46 of a massive heart attack. His partner is a gay cis male. After his seventh surgery, he made a third attempt at suicide and is now contemplating a gastric by-pass, AMA, will have to go to Mexico, also, wants more beard/mustache implants in order to look like his father.

My nephew, who is now my niece used jazz’s surgeon to have his surgery. Let me say this, my nephew went to one, one not multiple, but one psychologist, and the psychologist who is affiliated with jazz’s surgeon in one visit said that my nephew was indeed, trans. Knowing nothing about him meeting him for 40 minutes came to the conclusion that my nephew was actually a girl. Do you know how long it took my nephew to start dressing like a female? YEARS, he would grow a beard, wear guys clothes do nothing basically spend all night talking to guys online. And honestly now that he’s had the surgery let me tell you how that went. His new vagina closed up because he didn’t care enough to do the post op, now he thinks he could just go back in for the surgery. He then said to me well maybe I shouldn’t have had the surgery, seriously? This is what today’s society is doing to kids. They are brainwashing them to believe they are something they are not now my niece who cut off her penis can not get that back! It is outrageous. What they’re doing to kids, no parents should be allowed to change the sex of their child. When the child is of age and becomes an adult, they can make that decision, but until then it should be illegal. I am so sick of this. This is outrageous. I love my nephew, and I love my niece, but I don’t believe she made the right choice and I believe that society has enticed these kids with being trans. My nephew only had to pass one class to graduate high school because he was trans. I've noticed a trend in all these public cases of "trans" children. There is always a mother involved with and heavily influential in the transitioning decision and process. If a dad is involved, they usually come across as very weak, effeminate, and submissive to their wife's lead on the insanity. I wonder if there's something to be drawn from that.

I was a super tom-boy. I played ball, wore pants and t-shirts. I liked trains, race cars, and building blocks. The only things dolls were good for were to bandage in my "doctor's clinic". I still hate the color "pink". I didn't like jewelry and frilly things. I played baseball, basketball, swam and road bikes. A lot of people thought I was a tall skinny boy in high school. After high school, I filled out, starting doing my hair and nails, and actively dating. I'm a mother and a wife, and I can build a house from the ground up. I'm glad no one cut me or drugged me when I was a KID!

Yeah, she already has a daughter. I think Jazz saw his sister getting attention and tried to mimic her behavior to get similar attention, as siblings often do. Instead of noticing the mimicry, and chalking it up to a desire to be noticed more, Jazz's mother decided to socially transition him to be a girl. There are two stories that precipitated Jazz's transition. One the mother tells is that Jazz came to her when he was two and said he had a dream that he was a girl with a vagina. The other incident is told by Jazz and his father. It's that he saw his sister wearing a rainbow swimsuit at a birthday party and he very much wanted one, so for his 5th birthday, his parents gave him one. Either one is a nutty reason to start transitioning a child, even socially. I'm not convinced a two year old can talk well enough to describe a dream in any detail, let alone a complex dream like the one Janet claims Jazz confided to her. And so what if a kid wants to wear rainbows or sparkles, or even a particular cut of swimwear? It's just clothing 🤷♀️.
I was adopted by a trans person. Ended up homeless and strung out by the time I was 14. I'm 48 now and clean and sober, no longer homeless. I can tell you with 100 percent certainty, this is no lifestyle for kids.

I don’t think that your experience is not valid but I think we need to consider that not all trans parents are inherently awful parents. Any person is capable of being a bad parent and frankly I think all parents should be required to be psychologically checked if possible before being allowed to raise a child. But it’s not and unfortunately people raise children in awful circumstances and situations. I personally know I would not be a good mother. Not that I’m bad or drugged up or crazy but just that I have qualities that would make raising a child harder on both me and the child. Your caretaker of the time clearly did not take that into consideration and I’m sorry you had to go through that. Went to get ice cream with my 4-year-old granddaughter Saturday. On the way there, she said she was a boy...with a laugh. On the way home she was a kitty. By the time we got home, she was a black otter. Then she was a brown otter. When she got ready for bed, she was a princess. LEAVE THESE CHILDREN ALONE! What they are doing is the worst kind of abuse. There isn't enough therapy available to save them when it is done.

I watched another RUclipsr who said Jazz probably has gender dysphoria, but not in the way we think. He said Jazz's dysphoria is because he thinks he's supposed to be a female because that's how he was raised, but he's discovering he might wanna be a male naturally, so it's giving him dysphoria. He's too scared to tell his parents that this was all a mistake or misunderstanding, so it's causing even crazier mental health issues for him. He's saying he doesn't feel like himself, but that's because he was raised conditioned to feel like a girl, and now his natural biology is telling him he's a boy (because he is) and he doesn't know what to do.

I watched the whole series and like you, he already looked and acted so much like a girl, so it's still hard for me to call 'her' a 'him.' I can usually make a correct guess when I see a transgender person, but I would have never guessed Jazz was one, but, he started the hormones SO early in his life, that he never went through puberty. I can't imagine what his mind and body felt like when he was taking all of those hideous injections.
His mother did this to him 10 years ago when it really wasn't as popular as it is now. What in the world was she thinking? She put the idea in his head! I remember when Barbara Walters interviewed Jazz when he was 7. You are 1000% correct and then some. Imagine a time 150 years ago this mother monster would be the center piece at a "town bbq" even 50 years ago as a society we would have st the very least "run her out of town" so to speak. There is a dark corner in hell reserved for this particular woman.
I've yet to see a clip saying anything along the lines of "i wish I didn't transition", "i want to be a boy", "I want to detransition" etc.
She seems to attribute it all to being generally depressed by an overbearing or intrusive parent, which can happen to anyone. Don't say "just search for the clip she has said it", it would be rounding the conservative channels like a virus.
We just need to wait for her to finish therapy and see if she detransitions. She's looking for herself outside the screen. Don't give her unwanted attention.

I mean, I definitely get anxious and depressed on regular enough occasions, yet I never have found myself during those times thinking “I don’t feel like myself, I just want to feel like me.” I know exactly who I am and it’s not something that could slip away or I could lose grasp of. I feel depressed and anxious in spite of being very much myself because that’s either not enough to cancel out whatever situation or thing is leading to my anxiety and sadness or it’s that who I am is actually the thing making me sad and anxious itself.
I was literally conceived because my dad wanted another boy to work on the farm. Turns out he got another girl, who still drove tractor and milked cows. I did not think I was a girl because I did “boy” work. My niece is a 12 yr old tomboy who has been told by her teacher that it’s ok to be a boy or non binary. Now she’s confused and asked to be called They. Teachers have no place telling kids this stuff. Let them be children. They don’t need to think about this! Watch interviews of young people detransitioning. It’s absolutely heartbreak when they realize they were butchered and will never have the life they were led to believe they would. One young trans woman said she had 30 minutes of counsel and her surgery was booked two months later. There’s going to be a lot of lawsuits in the next 10-20 years of medical professionals who misled young people in the name of being accepting.
My aunt did this she wanted a boy so bad so when she had her fifth daughter she brainwashed her to make her want to be a boy, 20 years later her daughter struggles and isn’t mentally stable
Who did not see that coming? When you are turned into something that you are not it will make you mentally unstable and depressed. Very few people are born this way and challenges for them are already hard so imagine being brainwashed into something this traumatic.

Gender disappointment is strong in many parents. My mother always wanted a son and used to dress me like a boy until I was four years old. It stopped when I insisted that I wanted to wear dresses and floral patterns and loved having my hair in banana curls. My entire childhood was full of moments where she would say "you should have been a boy. I wanted a son and got a little girl instead!" She spent years trying to have a son and never got successfully pregnant again. If transitioning children was a thing when I was a child, my mother would have definitely pushed it on me.

You should get genetic testing before you have children of your own. The fact that your mother was not successful in carrying a boy might be an indication of a genetic error. You're possibly carrying it too; testing might save you some heartache.
I'm sorry you went thru that. It goes to show that psych evaluations need to be done on parents, before anything is done to the child. All doctors should require it.
I’m a 60 year old woman and most of my early childhood photos look like I was a boy. Boy’s haircut and boy’s clothes. I think my mom was tremendously disappointed that I wasn’t a boy. When I was old enough to assert myself, she did let me grow my hair. After 3 girls, she eventually got her boy and spoiled him absolutely rotten!
My husband experienced this too, I’ll never ever understand it but I do understand that it’s real. It’s so gross. I have SO much empathy for Jazz.

The truly most horrifying part of this story is the mother's desire to keep quiet about the severity of the side effects as to not scare parents away from commencing these procedures. It's as if to ask, "How dare these parents contact me and ask for critical information regarding elective cosmetic surgeries which will permanently alter and effectively sterilize their own offspring?"

The things that his mom says completely shock and horrify me. Not only is she abusing him openly on TV (waking him in the middle of the night to make him dialate just screams abuse) but she has the nerve to be upset with her own child for stating the truth about trans surgery procedures rather than sympathizing with him ALL while claiming to love him. Seeing her behavior with him, all I see is that she loves herself, the fame and the attention she gets through him. If I had my way I'd lock her up and throw away the key. Why are we signing up kids for hormone treatment and gender transition just because a child less than 10 expresses the vaguest interest in something outside their assigned gender?
