I have wanted this song to be covered in a Heavy Metal style for over twenty years!!! I can't believe that it has finally happened. I have always loved the original song as a little kid when it came out back in the early 80's. I always felt that it could be a Heavy Metal song just by the rhythm of the song , and I am glad that I was right.

According to Wikipedia, this song was originally supposed to be about "a totalitarian society that made everyone wear their sunglasses at night." However, Corey Hart altered the lyrics to be "more romantic" when the record company asked for something more marketable.
Was there for the New Year's Eve 1984 concert where Corey Hart sang this... Platinum Blonde and The Spons were also on the ticket. Loving this cover and the heavier sound.
