wont turn back on util you connect to charger, then under throttle shuts off again. Even though it says battery fully charged. Now it wont even turn on at all. This was 2 bikes we received at the same time for my twins bday. we swapped the other battery to see if it would work and it works. so it must just be a bad battery out of the box
* Updated* Finally got the second battery after 18 days. The bike works now. The first battery was lost in customs. So one bike sat since early May. It is now mid-July.

Did you figure out how to turn the yellow akez ebike battery power on?
We are still waiting for the battery. The first one got lost in customs? It sucks because we got the bikes in early May. Based off what I could find on the internet, it is probably one of the cells in the battery that is bad. If it goes on any load then the control shuts that battery off because the voltage is wrong. Hopefully we get this next battery soon. The first one made it to customs, then was supposed to come ups. The second one is supposedly in customs but will be delivered with FedEx. I suggested to support that they keep batteries in the warehouse because of the shipping delay. The warehouse is not an Akez warehouse; it is just a regular warehouse that processes a ton of other orders from China. My shipping slip that we picked up the bikes with was all in Chinese and the workers are all from the same.
Finally got the second battery. That one took about 18 days delivered by FedEx. Everything with this one is working as it should.
Shouldn’t you flick the battery switch on first then press the battery button on, then the on button on the display. You did it in the reverse order. Battery button then battery switch. Wrong order I think.

Have you seen anyone use a 52v battery on this? k want this bike but want just a lil more speed and power
No, I haven't seen that yet. My kids can get it up to 37 mph, though, so I don't know how much more speed you need from a bike, around 1k. Looking at the internals of the motor and too much more tork might get you chewed up gears on the inside of the hub.
Where do you get the battery from because I have the same problem.
We had ordered another battery that was shipped around May 20th but it got lost in customs so now we're waiting for another one that should take 15 to 20 days is what the people are saying since it's a hazardous item. Just email support at Akez.com
I finally got the battery. The second one took about 18 days to get. So far, it is working well.
Maybe need a new m5 controller
