For $260 that is a marvellous vehicle. Stylish, reliable, easy to park and load onto your car, fun to ride and maintenance free (zero gas-cost worries, no oil changing, no parking meter tensions, etc) So much fun.
@@BoomBoom-bu8qp Why ? Ebike work all the time
Sounds like the perfect ebike for someone in a big city that could take it on a subway, bus, etc and use it to go that last mile. Even if you parked a bit further out and used it to go a mile at 12mph that's a lot better than walking!
But walking is better for your health!
Oohohoho. Oooòòòòooooòoooòòoooooooooot0Go .
@@charlestonbrown148 So? Not everyone has the time to do half an hour of walking every day going to work and another half going back home.
Reliable, light weight enough to carry up a flight of stairs, yet powerful enough for bigger riders and no more than $500 - $600. Whoever can do this will become wealthy beyond belief. Great channel. I prefer yours over EBR because he usually goes for $2,000 ebikes. With that kind of money, I would get a used motorcycle.
Great reviews....love your enthusiasm for your job. Keep the videos coming.
Sweet, I love that color. The built-in charger is cool. I like Xiaomi cameras, quality products.

I’d LOVE something like that. Remember, not everyone lives in cities. For me, based on what you’ve estimated for mileage, in my town, it could easily get me to work and back all week and maybe a trip into the town centre too before a recharge. I think for people like myself who live in smaller places, it would be great.
Vixen yah I’m also looking for cheap electric bike to just get around town in
Good point. I bought a cheaper scooter for my commutes. Only gets 12 miles with optimal conditions. Not many people are fans of it. But my application it works great. My jobs an my home are all 2.2 miles from each other. Works great for ME and MY NEEDs. Prob not best for others who need to travel far
Abe Martinez Thxs I might start to look into electric scooters 😊

This would be nice for a college campus. That would also be where you need the license plate holder,
since many places require registration to fight theft.
Just bought Himo v1 plus model and i`ll have to say it is pretty sturdy for it`s price. I am 175cm long and it is not too small for me. It has 14" wheels and bigger battery when comparing to non plus model. It costed 399 euros for me and i`ll have to say that money well spent! It`s still winter here in finland but highly anticipating dry, sunny weather.
Your energy is so down to earth and inviting. And you are very attractive too! Good review straight to the point and honest.
Most e-bikes and e-scooters from China come pre set in a beginner/ insurance friendly power limitation. Most can be taken out of this mode by using a combination involving the power button. Might be the case with this one, give it a Google and see you can get it some more juice lol
20 years ago I had a Chinese bicycle, 3 speed. It was well made. It also had a decal in Chinese and in English which said " Bicycle Is My Good Friend". 🐼😸

I really enjoyed your video on the $261 ebike. It is great to know that this ebike option is available if I have a friend in China. I am all smiles.
Love your vids. Thanks for all your time. I am thinking about building a diy e-bike. Keep up the great work
When I lived in Shenzhen about a decade ago, I used a similar ebike. It was perfect for my daily commute, and it fit in the elevator as you mentioned. It was perfect. Too bad they don't sell them stateside for a reasonable price.
You can get bikes like this from Dyu, Dohiker, Jetson, Fiido or other rebrands of the above. Maybe for ~50-100USD more than in Shenzhen. I've got a Dyu rebrand (Jetson) and love zipping around the city with it. I think I got it for 270 bucks refurbed.

Yep, good honest review. Thanks
Great video! :) was just wondering where did you mount the 360 cam to have great side and back shot while riding. Thanks!
Glad I've found your channel. Nice and practical. I am a big eco fan. This video was fun, thanks :)
Probably get more miles if the back tire was pumped up more looked a little low, that makes a huge difference.
That rear fender being askew really bugged me LOL. Yeah, I know it's a 15 second fix. That's why it bugged me. :-)
Looks like a cool little bike for smaller people who would take it on a train etc. Not so much for 6'2"/188cm 210lb/95kg me.
It got smushed in shipping and so the plastic is permanently bent to the side. I tried clamping it straight and it just goes off to the side. I need to heat it and push it back.
@@EbikeSchool heat it up and bend it back ;)
Dude, I love your channel. I've built two e-bikes already just from watching your channel and I just bought a magic cycle which is awesome. Hey, I appreciate u taking the time to show. Differently right it's Fine
Well, it practically looks like an electric kick scooter with a seat. And embedded power cord is a nice touch.
Sly Golovanov that’s what I was thinking. It would make a nice companion for my Xiaomi m365 scooter.
10 or 12 miles an hour is a pretty good cruise if that’s all you want to do
Wally Blackler probably get more if the tires were pumped up more his back tire looked like it was pretty flat.
ya peddling to those speeds on a bicycle is hard work
Razor electric scooter does 15 mph .
and seems to work by itself, you don't need to pedal at all for it to assist you, so you don't get tired.
Another very good advantage over electric scooter is you can put your legs on the ground if you get unbalanced. On a e-scooter you have greater chance of falling, especially at low speed.
Always enjoying your videos.👍👍👍
At 6'2'' and 245lbs I think I'm a little over it's Max Load Weight. Seems nice but I need something a little larger. Thank you for the vid!
@notfiveo Now that sounds like a pretty good idea you have! I'm about to move and an e-bike just fits with my new conditions. What kit/system did you use for the conversion? There are many out there and I'm in the middle of making my decision.
This looks like great quick-to-the-store commuter. Thanks for sharing.
And you won't be arrested for having an "open bottle", at least not in Wisconsin!
4:35 The front wheel is beautifully smooth
if that was a USA price, then they would sell well
I would want one.
I hopped up an Electric Punk and while I gave it full suspension it lacks pedals and did cost more.

I'm 6'1" tall, ride an (E)Haibike annually 4000 miles yearly. I'm also 225 lbs. I also own a Giant fold up non-electric 😭😫. The Giant is quite accommodating considering, great for crowded area's places.
Where did you get it? How much? Thanks
6’1 is not that tall lol

this would be great to keep in the trunk of the car for sure! great video!
Thank you for the review. You have saved me time and effort.
I own the Plus (bigger battery, wheels, and breaks at each wheels) and it is really better! Used it as a serious commuter for one year, the problem is that the components are very hard to replace..
Love it! At $261 it would be perfect for my tiny van conversion (but not so much at $599!)
The charger is wonderful. But when that lubricated chain gets just a little use. You'll need a glove to avoid black fingers. It looks about the same size as the little yellow folding bike you did a video on. Except just a bit more comfortable faster, capable, cheaper and durable.
Looking forward to reading your lithium book!

For "car dingy" usage, Do the seat and handlebar quick releases work fine to fold up quick?
I've owned one. The handle bar quick release is easy to put into the riding position but VERY hard to fold down.
It took him half an hour to put the seat on, so Ima say no to that.
Thanks. Great video. I'd love one of those for short trips.

At first I was like cool but then I realized at 290 lbs it’s going up my ass and will need surgical removal.
For less than 300 bucks, that's really good. I couldn't even find a good solid drive train for an e-bike at that price, much less the whole thing.
It is 570$ + 100$ if you want to buy it and ship to US from China :/. Time to get a friend I guess ..
I'm glad to discover your channel!
Thanks for the walk through of the bike.
The onboard charging cord how freaking cool
Until it breaks off or you're in a country with different voltage.
That bike is neat , feels like a modern “motocompo” for your car
And how many people the age that this scooter appeals to, know what a motocompo is, or for what Honda vehicle it was an option?
It’s like motocompo foldie hybrid🖤
Thanks for an honest simplistic review. Most people feel pressured to give a good review either coz there is sponsorship or coz they spent money already.

Looks like fun. As a senior, this small size sounds appealing and easier to manage and learn on. I bought an Lectric eBike (Arizona company) but having difficulty mounting it to ride. Hoping to learn some tips here on your Channel. New Subbie.

It's a bicycle why didn't you test speed and range while pedaling along?
I would guess you can go a lot faster while pedaling since I usualy go above as fast without an electirc motor
Looks like it would suck to peddle. Bike that size isn't worth it.
Very handy and can be very useful for emergency in a cross country trip by car or van or RV. Thank you.
I think for $361 it's a nice little bike to commute in towns with, I think more people need to switch to bikes of any type, especially those in city's.
Cute backup bike for quick errands, sometimes my efat bike feels huge around crowds
eBike Photographer same here. But mostly people just overreact.
I ride a Felt Lebowsk-e.
Is the bike water proof....that's my only concern.
really well made video sir. thanks for saving us all time.
That was a very good review. Did you have to pay any customs for importing it into the U.S.?
Cool, it looks small enough to fit in the back of a hatch back car
When you dont pedal 12 miles are decent range. When using the motor just as support, the range should increase signicantly
Exactly. He should also have made a test while pedaling. He would probably have reached 30 km. Not bad ! 😉
That info would be interesting

@@luispinheirodosmontes7219 that's a silly statement. We have plenty of spandex warriors here too. Such a lazy trope.

Nice job with this video. I think you went a bit too quickly to "My friend in China forget to ship me the charger." But your happy discovery saved the day (and the blame). Thanks.
Great Ebike. Very eco friendly. I love the style. Keep it up
Most people in China use the peddle. Electric power is to help ease the journey, extending distance.
If they brought that product over to the west, it could be a game changer. I'd take this anytime over a Walmart bike. Great price!
Looks like my little Jetson Bolt ... which I used to commute to and from work through the nasty Canadian winter. Because it's so small I could be in full control and could ride in the worst road conditions. ie snow/ice knowing I could just put my feet down to stop any slip. Kind of like a BMX. Also it's so small that my employer doesn't mind me parking it inside at work, which I could never do with a regular sized bike. Yeah, it doesn't go too far or too fast ... but it beats walking any day! :)
You can use it in a large factory complex, military base or within a university campus.
I have himo c20, from Aliexpress under 600€, I love it! 😁
Where do you drive it? Is it street legal in your country? :)
@@PixelSheep Finland. Max allowed speed is 25kmh, so yes its street legal 😁
Hahahaha you are gay then
@@lxh22 Sorry for being picky but this legal aspect is actually very important (you could be in very deep shit in case of an accident!) and completely ignored in this video.
it's not because it drives below the limit (25 km/h) that it's street legal! ;-) In most countries, (motor) vehicles have to be certified for the street and I assume it's also the case for Finland.- Since there is no official importer for this bike, no one has done the certification (my guess).

Nice review...and recommendation too..👍🏻
That bike would be perfect to go around the pits on a race track
Have to wonder how many and what type of cells are in the battery pack. The cost of the bike would be worth the cell cost.
I giggled at the 6:30 mark of this video when I saw the cockeyed look of the rear fender angled off to the one side. Haha! I recently bought a Jetson Bolt Pro from Costco ($299+tax) and have to check and tighten up the fenders often. Incidentally... For $299 and I think it is a phenomenal bargain! Plus at 210lbs it pulls me along at 15 mph quite easily and is actually pretty fun to ride! Handle bar folds down to. Best electric folding mini bike (entry level) deal going on today in my opinion.
note sure if anyone asked in the extensive comments already - would the range be longer if you pedalled or only used the electric motor for uphill sections? In Australia, we can only legally ride electrically assisted bikes on public roads, which means you have to pedal to get some degree of electrical assistance
