Hiya! They are awesome tyres I also recommend Dunlop Mutants. Give either of them a go you’ll love them! Ride safe.
Hiya Folks to update and clarify a couple of points…
Trailriders have been discontinued but there will be stock for the next 3-6 months. This leaves the Trekrider (70/30 road/off road) for ADV bikes. The decision to discontinue the tyre was made after we had been sent them to try out.
Avon has not closed down. The UK manufacturing plant has closed but the brand continues in Europe but there has been a bit of streamlining as part of the transition to a Europe and there is a planned expansion of Avon sales on the Continent. I hope that helps. So get online and order a set soonest!! Ride safe
I'm a big fan of Avon, been using Storms for years. Storm 2's and then 3d's, still on two of my bikes. Just a shame Avon have discontinued them. I toyed with getting trail riders for my cross tourer, but went for road 6's in the end as I never go off road.
the spirit ST is a great replacement from Avon for the Storm. I loved the storms on my bikes but the spirit ST takes it to the next level.

Bought a pair of Trail Riders 2 month ago for my 2015 GS. Only just put them on last week and did 1000 in 4 days up Scotland....
and it pissed down ! No surprise. Some dry spells too but a lot wet roads. These tyres are Amazing ! Especially in the wet.
And they look the dogs bs

Tried to get these tyres, could only get a front. Impossible to get a rear, I’ve tried everywhere. Avon closed down in December and it’s only remaining stock that’s out there.
Probably the best tyres I've ever had, I certainly wouldn't put Metzlers on after these .
I like my Metzlers. Trail Riders and Mutants.
