quick note of help for 0:40 (assuming you haven't figured it out yet, to make it go over 1 angle use the "hinge" option and use pitch/roll/yaw (local X/Y/Z) to aim it how you like
Does the clothing already have to have the blendshape so that it can slide? or can the blendshape be created? I would like to learn how to create this type of sliders.
Short answer: Yes, Yes in blender or using some unity tool. It's not too difficult and this video covers everything but I recommend finding a 'how to make blendshapes on clothes vrchat model blender tutorial' This type of slider needs animations which in this tutorial the animations are moving the blendshapes. Blendshapes are pretty easy to make in blender but making them for the first time is a bit tricky and confusing (there should be plenty of tutorials for it tho). If you are avoiding blender there might be tools for unity blendshape creation or at least to be able to animate the mesh in unity and store it in an animations. But I don't immediately have any that come to mind as I don't mind using blender.

If you are trying to grab it in unity, make sure to be in play mode and grabbing in the game window. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what's going on. I'd just double check in game just to know it is working

for me it works in the tree but not if i want to grab it thats so wierd
