What if I am adding ears and there is no option for the armature dropdown under the fbx for the new ears i added? The model didn't have any ears previously but I can't find anything like 11:40 other than the main package for the ears. The head doesn't have any armature options in the area of the ears other than for the hair on the model, and the ears that i added don't have a dropdown themselves. Does that mean physbones can't be added to the ears?
So when I got to change the radius of the physbones it just makes a giant circle around the whole model and changing the radius seems to do nothing. Any ideas?
I come from the days were having more than 1 Mesh on an avatar was a taboo. Have they changed that, i mean the performance with it? Because those are a lot of single meshes on that avatar.
Absolutely, adding things on in unity is a lot more unoptimized than adding things in blender! If you know blender its absolutely more worth doing there because you are completely correct about optimization!
Your videos are amazing! Do you have anything for adding tails onto a model? I’ve successfully added it but they’re not locking into the hips despite my best effort’s? they look and move like they’re there but then if I have a friend grab my tail in VR chat it separates right from my body

It’s weird that they don’t show up even tho there are bones. :( also been struggling on making a toggle for material Color changes for two hairs that I added on my model in blender to unity. For some reason when I make the toggle and animations, the hairswap toggle messed up and both hair disappear. Also wondering how some models have glossy skin and lips. Would love to know how that’s accomplished.

Clothing items cannot be adding on in unity. any article of clothing that is attached to an object that moves in multiple different angels ie. Legs, arms, torso. HAS. To be done in blender because they need to be weighpainted
@@Nilcat2024 You can actually add clothing in Unity as long as that piece of lcothing comes with an Armature that has all the bones for your model, typically you will find higher quality assets specifically made for your base model like this on booth.
I know how to do all this but leaving these open in the background is just so relaxing lol I love your voice
