Make sure that the Go/Float in the expression parameters does not have saved checked, I forgot to untick it in the video :D

Honestly one of the better guides I could find that wasn't telling me to get rid of all of my toggles! Esp with the gesture manager download I had no clue about. I had a few issues I followed the guide and it really helped me get a hang of them! Thank you so much :D

grabbed an avi that had gogo loco, this video saved me because even though it had the menu in place there was no submenu applied. Ty GaryAsparagus

I didnt even realize that there were different Go Go locos until you mentioned it at the beginning lol. I guess all my avatars have the same one. And thank you for the tutorial
I'm running into a problem where I did everything in the video, but when I test out the other toggles (clothing, colors, etc) in game, they wont work and switch, for example, my shirt.
Is there a way to fix it?

It worked other than when I want to move the characters position with the circular percentage thing (mind no work rn lmao) it keeps my head in one place and doesn't move my whole body

Although it worked for the most part, although some of the actions can make my character freeze and some of the actions don't even work, but overall its pretty good, although I would love some help with the actions if ya could, and thanks again :D

My avatars ears always bug out (moving wildly in all directions) and i was wondering if the is a fix for it? (any help is welcomed, thank you.)
I'm having problems with the head being not floating with the body. What do I do?
Thank you for the tutorial. Got it all set up and it works in testing mode in unity, but going in game it doesn't work. Only the emote animations do, but not any of the sitting/laying animations, resizing etc.

I am running into an issues though that might me unique to me, maybe you could help me with that? So everything works but if I try to float with the poses, my head doesn't move. It's stuck in place, and when I go up or down only the body moves. Do you have any idea what my issue could be? Thank you in advance.

So the only thing I can think of is that the go/float should not have saved checked, I forgot to uncheck it in the video haha, but if you look at the screenshot at 5:34 just copy the values from that instead of what I write and u should be fine :D let me know if that fixed it!

@@blueprimage6294 if the issue is about the head not moving with the body keep on reading ig.. I had the same issue but my Avi had two FX's on the playable layers instead of the "action" tab and what worked for me was to reset to the default then click on customize and re apply all the gogo loco's ("base, action , sitting ") and put the fx the avatar had before restarying it.

I did everything exact, and when im trying to upload, it says prefab for the avi does not exist??? won't let me upload
yeah this will happen when there is a script missing, this can happen when the creator don't delete the tools they use to make the avatars, try finding the script it's trying to find and delete that folder

Apologies I'm having a hard time getting caught up on what you're saying you got that allows you to check the menu within the playable scene could you possibly mention what you use for that
no worried man! if i understand correctly this is what u wanna do, click on the avatar name in higharchy, then in the inspector you scroll down to playable layer, and then click on the expression menu 2 times fast, that should open it up for you

I did it and it works, thank you!! The ONLY issue I am having is it replaces my "Hot Lay Down" idle animation that I use when I, well, lay down in-game. Is there a way to keep that as the default lay down whilst having GoGoLoco?
Also I get an error when I try to build it says some poses have no parameter defined but when I use gesture manager the loco poses work.
I'm having an issue with adding it. I followed the instructions exactly but in vrchat when I try to open the gogo loco, it plays the wave animation then sends me back to the expression sub menu with all of my original toggles. Is there a way I can fix this?
go/proneidle not found i have several missing perameters i had used my own FX controller by duplicating the handslayer controller. but i did everthing else exactly as you did so im unsure why its not working
When I drag the loco controllers in (base, sitting and action) they are bold text and when I go to upload it has an error and won't let me upload.
I dunno how to add in a gesture manager, I have a file for it but I see nothing for it being in the hierarchy, it isn't in tools for me either

something is broken with mine, her body wont sit on the ground, she does the pose in the air, and if I try to lower her, it just makes her legs like...invert....its weird. anyway to fix this? do u have a discord maybe?
This has happened to a few people, I don't know if I could fix it since I don't know what it is but you can feel free to join the discord server :) and you can ask in the unity help chat and may some of my friends can help you, but you can try 1. make sure you are using the same gogoLoco that I am using in the video, 2. try using the 1.7.0 version if the latest don't work. 3. it could be that u are using write default version when you should not or vice versa. hope this helped :D

Nice tutorial. Too bad my avatar has an base and action layer so i cant use the gogoloco one because it has different stand poses and things.
For some odd reason my GoGo Loco animations seem to start playing and then stop immediately 1 second later afterwards, leading to a default pose frozen in place. Anybody can help me with this issue?
I followed your guide step by step and while the menu has been added, none of the GoGo Loco options do anything. The icons exist in the menus but nothing does anything. What have I missed?
It keeps saying "VRCExpressionMenu uses a parameter that is not defined.
Parameter: Go/Crouchidle
then just... add the parameter?

I've got a problem. I've downloaded goLoco on my avatar but his head and camera don't move, when i try to up the avatar using GoGoLoco. How to fix that?
yeha a friend was having this issue aswell, number one make sure you are using the version of gogo that is in the video. 2 this can happen on the latest version on some avatars so just go to gumroad and download the older version of it. like the 1.7.0 version and test that out :D Let me know if this fixed the issue :D
@@garyasparagus2722 1. i use 1.7.4 version. 2. It's still not working with the 1.7.0. version
@@kasiwirmp5907 that's weird, it could be that u are using the the write default version when u should not or vice versa. I don't know if it oculd be something with some specific avatars aswell. I will try and look into this more when I am finished with my Christmas avatar
@@garyasparagus2722 I've found the answer. I had the second place for FX instead of Action. I should just reset Playable Layers to default and paste all controllers again)

i did everything in the video besides put the action layer, and whenever i got into vr the poses and stuff worked but the stationary didn’t work, it would still make me move. and whenever i did a pose and tried to use the slider to move myself it would only move my legs and not the top of my body. is it because i didn’t put the action layer or is it something else? i need help so bad bc i have bad stich drift LMAOO

you can find gesture manager on github as a unity package, or you can get it through the creator companion

how to remove unused gogo loco from wasting parameter space without breaking everything?
you would have to dive into how all of gogoloco is written to determin what paramater will never be used for ur specific case
@@garyasparagus2722 yeah i just dont want it at all period. removed the stuff from heirarchy and params and fx layer but it breaks the avi. idk why people insist on installing it on every swinging avatar they sell when its not optimized and wastes param space. thanks for trying to point me in the right direction! stay safe!
@@RandoReign ohhh you just mean removing it completly, well that is easy, you just have to remove all the paramaters, and layers too, dont touch the fx layer, that is where ur avatars toggles are stored, the gogo loco is store seperatly
