- Lack of Healthcare, education, infrastructure development, employment opportunities, and inflation are only some of the problems faced by the people of the 6 districts of Eastern Nagaland.
Although the demand for a separate state was first made in 2010, the movement resurfaced in 2022, only months before the Assembly polls.
On August 9 last year, the Eastern Nagaland People's Organization (ENPO), apex body of the Eastern Nagas, held a public rally to press for the creation of ‘Frontier Nagaland’.
Predominantly settled in the districts of Tuensang, Mon, Longleng, Kiphire, Noklak, and Shamator, the Eastern Nagaland region contribute only one-third, or 20, of the 60s MLAs in the assembly.
Following ENPO’s meeting with Amit Shah, a 3-member committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs headed by Advisor AK Mishra was constituted to study the ‘Frontier Nagaland’ demand. The team visited the state for a 3-day meeting on December 16, 2022.
On January 3, the state government made an appeal to the ENPO to reconsider its demand.

Their eyes are shut and their brains blocked ,they can't think beyond reservations,funds and demands without knowing the actual problem which all common Nagas regardless of tribe are facing,they assume that all the people of Major Naga tribes dine with golden spoon,whereas reality is that 90% of the so called Advanced tribes of Nagaland are facing much worse poverty then the Eastern people. Yet jobs and funds are being chewed up in the name of reservations by the Eastern Naga people only,yet we remain patient and think better for them all the time . What an Irony.

When they don't get good seat , when they are not in high officials, rather than the LADF when the funds control by someone and thinking to utilize for development only in some parts then how we will get to see the progress and equalize of the eastern Nagaland parts....
Sir ji, How many ministers in ENPO area? Out of 20 only 4 ministers. In Mon district alone only one minister out of 9. Nw u start compare with others, after that u wl come to know we are treated.

Kohima Smart Capital, Chumukedima Comercial Capital, Meziphema upcoming Metropolitan City , Sethekima upcoming Nagaland Trade Centre, New Airport and Railway project in ' ma' area , Sovima the sports center, Jakhama, Kisama, Tuophema, Chiechama, almost all 'Ma' Areas are Tourism Spot . Resorts and so many Rich Contractors workers .and there is a very long list if i go in Details the Development and investment in 'Ma' well and they are saying blame our MLA but they won't say anything against CM who is holding the Nagaland Finance. And here we are drinking Pika chai with Root potato 🤦 I really don't know why Angami' Right thinking citizens are keeping quite losing their brothers right infront of their eyes . When Eastern people come to Capital for good hospitals and schools we don't even have place to stay so we usually stay in our MLA house which is tightly packed and we are not economically rich like them and it pains my heart . We too want development in our areas 🥲😭😭

They are enjoying our economic package, but once we separate from them they will have no funds which they ARE gaining thus far from EASTERN.
The demand of ENPO is very much genuine and justified. Every right thinking citizens should support for ENPO region. The root cause of this pathetic condition is because of the corrupt politicians, bureaucrats and contractors. Overall the system is too corrupted. We stand with you ENPO. You deserve the same facilities available in Kohima and Dimapur or even better.
Schools are without teachers and infrastructures, hospitals are without doctors, nurses, and facilities. life without Health & Education is a handicap.ENPO never gives up.👍👍👍

This two school buldings were constructed by the NGOs of Aboi lead by the apex body Aboi area students union and Konyak union ( Aboi unit) with their own expenses and with the goodwill donation from the public of Aboi area, Chen area and longching area.
If China can builds so good hospital and infrastructure in Tibet and Xinjiang, why india cannot builds good hospital and infrastructure in Nagaland..???
