- Former CM of Nagaland Dr SC Jamir believes "a very strange phenomenon in the political dialogue" has created a fear psychosis in the minds of Nagas.
In an exclusive interview with EastMojo, the veteran politician said, "I think that a fear psychosis has been spread in the minds of Naga people, and now people are afraid to speak out". This demonic force, he said, should be removed, and people should have a chance to say what they want.
The Government of India has been holding separate talks with the NSCN(IM) since 1997, and the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) since 2017. On August 3, 2015, it signed a framework agreement with NSCN(IM), and an Agreed Position with NNPG on November 17, 2017.

As a Naga we all know our history and we want to support our nationalists but after learning about the details of Pan-Naga Hoho proposed under Framework agreement, we are convinced that it's better to live within a democratic Indian union than a communist regime of IM.
History should not be repeated deliberately.. what happened as a tragedy is enough.

The PAN Naga Hoho, as we have recently seen (the viral post) is not the actual demand from Naga people, that's an art work of some Indian bureaucrats to bring misunderstanding among the Nagas.
Don't believe in whatever you have seen on social networking sites, just think, who on earth is going to bring what was written on that viral copy, and who is going to support such???
Be patient enough to know the truth, actual truth.
Some of the Nagas along with Indian bureaucrats are trying to mislead the Nagas so that there would be bloodshed among the Naga brethren again and again.

Be thankful to 16point Agreement. What do you think ..where does those expensive cars huge houses owned enjoy by our naga ministers and UG leaders comes from?? The main thing regarding the solution is how can a particular faction say they are fighting for us or representing us when the general public dont even know what they are demanding? They shouldnt use the name 'Nagaland' next time they go for negotiation because they dont represent the whole Nagas except for their own political faction. The GOI should be clear on this because the Nagas in general wont just be a sitting duck if any demand go against the public.

If he is talking in India's favour then tell him to express clearly that Nagas will never get independent as long as he (Shri. SC Jamir himself) live.

When statehood was granted... nagas of manipur was given a choice to be a part of nagaland., but they chose manipur. so it is not the nagas of nagaland but others that do not want to live together.

If the negotiations are in nagas interests, then we should not unnecessarily interfere but rather support the talks. Listening and entertaining every voice will lead to indecision and confusion among the nagas. Our number one priority has always been 'the right to self determination'. This goal should be accorded the required importance while determining our future course of action. Everyone knows Jamir has been a puppet and tool of the Indian Govt. He has been given lucrative positions under the GOI. He has no concern for naga's right of self determination.

NAGA's solution can be solved only by admitting under the given statements:--1/ It is your own face that you see reflected in the water and it is your own self that you see in your heart. 2/ Human wisdom, brilliance, insight--they are of no help if the Lord is against you. Thus, until there is confession of one's own mistaken before HIM, no achievement can be brought since NAGA stands for NAGALAND FOR CHRIST. It will be good if all Naga leaders with differing views could be brought together to a podcast for a discussion and debate on Naga history and the present course of actions. I think most of the Nagas have radical outlooks and prejudices about each other
(Tribe and region/location). It is sad to see us quarrelling cat and dog while the central government is trying to belittle our cause.

Naga has much more than sixteen tribes, selfish sixteen tribes cannot claim for the whole Nagas.
Mr. Jamir should know that NSCN IM is not fighting only for Nagaland but for the whole Nagas from MANIPUR, Assam, Arunachal, Myanmar Nagas as well. For the whole Nagas rights, why talking about only Nagaland Nagas. NSCN IM are broadminded unlike NNPGs talking only for Nagaland. Mr. Jamir never fight for Nagas, he is always served and work under government of India till his retirement. And after retirement also still talking for government of India. Mr. Jamir as a chief minister for long-term in Nagaland state and as a governor in other states, because of his leadership one of the region why Nagas are still struggling.

Some very few educated naga accepted statehood in 1963 n that is why the Naga cant get our sovereignty till today.I strongly believe it.

Talking about Naga problems, I hate to say but he is one of the problems. Unlike those who have actually fought and sacrificed against the Indian Forces for the cause of Nagas, what has he done behind his comfortable sofa chair?

We the Nagas will never see Naga solution because of two side spear head one is NSCN IM and another is NNPGs they are standing on separate ways .how can we think that there will be solution bychance it has been given there may be a great darkness in Nagaland amongst Nagas . it's my opinion.
