- In today's 5 Minute Cards Video, I show you the Neon Reverse Stenciling technique! You can do this direct to paper technique, or you can use blending brushes to ink blend your colors. It's always such a wow to peel the stencil off and the Daisy Chain stencil is perfect for a bright spring look!
I won't have a new video this weekend because I am out in Ohio at Simon Says Stamp CREATE! But Tom and I will be back live again on Tuesday night. Hope to see you there!

I love the TTT (or T3?) videos!!!! I am so excited to be attending Create for the first time ever! I wasn’t able to snag tickets to the classes, but am so looking forward to the make-n-takes and the possibility of seeing some of my favorite RUclips artists in person! Squeeee! Now, I know that in the mornings prior to classes, somewhere nearby Gina & Jennifer will be communing & laughing together over breakfast, and it makes me smile!
Love this wreath and spray design. Thanks Gina. You make everything so easy to do. Lori Andover MN
Hey, only 20 gonna, going, going to, plus a few more that actually made sense in her presentation. Sigh...save the language. And beautiful card, I must say.
this is one of the most effective techniques I have learned from you, which unmistakably produces stunning results every single time!!! Thank you.😘
It’s fun to see how you learn from and inspire each other! You can almost see the lightbulbs go off as you feed ideas off each other. Thank you so much ladies!
It was wonderful to meet you AND Jennifer this morning at Simon Say Create event!
I love this look and there are a few different techniques that give similar results. Those neon colors 😍 TFS💜🎨

Seriously a WOW card ✌🏽
Good afternoon from Moseley, Va
Wow! Love
This card!
Beautiful! Thank you!
WOW....such striking results, Gina! May I ask, does it matter what type of inks you use? Like your Neon Inks, are they dye-based? Your Black Onyx, does it matter if its waterproof? Thanks Gina....such a cool technique!
Our Black Onyx is water based. So you can use it for Copics and Gamsol but not watercolor. Use our Amalgam Obsidian for that. The Neon Inks are water-based. :)
Beautiful card. I have to try this technique soon. Can you use a pigment ink for the black (making sure you let it dry well)?
You can!
Gorgeous, so colourful. TY
Does that technique muddy the ink pads? Are the neon ink pads water-based?
No, it doesn't at all! And yes, they are water-based.
Are you turning the stencil over on the back side to do this. Beautiful card none the less! Thank you for sharing ❤
You can use it on whatever side you want. :)
Gotta try this one today!
I love the neon colors.
