  • A fun and easy way to create an embossed look to your cards without using an embossing folder! Start with a piece of cardstock in the color of your choice. Select a big, bold stamp (florals work great) and an ink (dye inks work great!) that is the same or close to the color of your cardstock, but one shade darker. Watch the video to see how to “offset” the cardstock after the initial stamping. Then restamp the same image using white pigment ink. The effect is stunning, and it will look as if the image is jumping off the page. #ginakdesigns

    Hi Annette,
    Just subscribed!
I'm a "long time" stamper, and I found your video to be very innovative and something I will definitely try...love the faux embossing. I personally appreciate the descriptive details you share as you go along, and understand all too well how little things can throw your timing off a bit, but just continue to do "you" and you will get more comfortable as you go along. The soothing music in the background was so relaxing and is perfect for just sitting back and learning a new technique with no stress. Good luck with your future videos...I'll be watching!
