I find my magnets stuck to metal all over the place. lol the last time they were stuck to the metal studs on the outside of a binder. I'm not sure I could have put them there if I had tried. Beautiful card project which reminds me of greeting cards My Great GRANDmother had from the 1940's. She had framed 12 various greeting cards from loved Ones, within a huge picture frame. I always thought they were pretty and delicate-looking. THANK YOU for never failing to offer inspiring tutorials and I hope You're better from that cold very soon. ~BLESSINGS~

Thank you. I purchased Prisma pencils but have been lost about how to use them. I've been using them on coloring books, though. This is much more productive and useful. Sometimes those big pages full of the awful lines are overwhelming. I get frustrated and stop coloring before the page is complete.
I love this technique! It would be beautiful for wedding cards as well; simply color the flowers in the recipients wedding color scheme and the white ribbon and kraft card goes with everything. Thank you for all your lovely tutorials; I have so many saved here on RUclips. Btw I didn't even notice that you had a cold; thanks so much for powering through and giving all your viewers a new tutorial. 😊

If you want to try a new kind of magnet, get the bar magnet. I used a piece of washi tape as a pull to release magnet. It's WONDERFUL!!!

Beautiful card. I use the sharpener also, run the occasional wooden pencil through to clear the blades. Fantastic sharpener - Costco.

this is a must try technique!!! I did not know if you have seen Jennifer Mcguire's video where she laminates the grid papers to use over and over again! I did that with mine and it works great and saves on having to purchase the papers so quickly!
I heard about that! I also just purchased the MISTI mouse pad. You can use that the same way so I was thinking of giving that a try first. But if that doesn't work, I certainly can use my laminator and make one too! Great idea!

Can you use gam sol to blend. And can you use alcohol markers for the technique.
Hi Simon, I think the gamsol might affect the ink underneath. The Alcohol marker too. If you were going to try it, I would try in on a test project first. :)
Where do you get the ribbon you use in many of your cards? I have checked your store and I don't ever see that ribbon for sale. Do you have a special place you get that or do you have any plans to start selling it anytime soon? (It the white and black sheer ribbon with solid white and black on each side) Beautiful card by the way - hope to give it a try!
It was an old ribbon I had in my stash. We will be getting some similar ribbon with a pretty little gold line running through it. It will be available in our online store early this summer. :)

What is the brand of embossing machine you use that does not use shims? Thanks.
I use the Little Sister by CheeryLynn Designs. It has a wheel that you turn to tighten and loosen it. :)
