Carolyn, I've just found you through Pinterest. I purchased a Gel Plate a year ago, &, believe it or not, haven't yet used it. After seeing this video I'm going to search out many more of yours, as you have such a nice, clear way of explaining things that I am now feeling like I really want to play with this medium. I've always admired some looks of mixed media & would like to start a small journal. I just struggle with letting myself "loosen up" enough & don't feel like my imagination will stretch far enough to create something of my own. But, who's going to fire me if it doesn't turn out to "my satisfaction"? lol A big thank you for sharing your knowledge & artistic abilities!
Thank you! Looking at my paints, I am not in the market for new paint, but I learned a lot. I love your gel printing class. Mastering the layers? That may be the name of it. I actually need to pull out my matte medium, and watch part of that class soon. Thank you for talking about the spreadability needed, and the best paper for reverse printing. I really enjoyed the longer video! Your new stencils look phenomenal!
Love knowing about reverse printing. Thanks for making this video Carolyn. Fingers crossed, I have an art workshop trip to France scheduled for Autumn 2021 (postponed from this year) -- what a lovely excuse to wander around a French art supply shop looking for vinyl paint! ~marilee
Love this. My only question is why didn't you also pull the positive print off the gel plate? Couldn't that have been pulled with tissue paper and the words cut apart and collaged onto a beautiful art print?
Such fabulous and helpful tips. I have to say, if it had been me doing it, there would of been finger prints all over everything. You hardly had any paint on your fingers at all!
Actually Carolyn I love the effect you got when it didn’t print so solidly, looks stamp like, love how you don’t waste paint, that is what has kept me way away from flow or pour painting. Just love watching your videos, very I spiring, I’m loving art more and more each day and watching your presentations is a big part of that so thanks thanks thanks j
Fabulous, Carolyn! Thank you so much for your wonderful tricks!!!! Awesome!
I’m very new to gel printing. Watching your videos really helps me to learn working with it! Thank you 🙏🏻

I am so happy you're more comfortable giving the play a go Teri!
You are a very good teacher. 👍🎨🙏
I love your top! The video, as always, is also awesome 😁
Thank you for taking the time to tutor
love this video and the whole concept, can't wait to try it (using some of your stencils, of course)
so glad to see that. great job. i wonder if bottled craft paint would work because it is very wet, just have to find one that has some body to it.
I love all the prints, the imperfect ones call me. thanks for all the info and a happy start to my day, meaning you.
I agree Ruth, the imperfect ones are so much fun! Thanks for sharing your morning with me!

So glad it was helpful Jesse! Yup, that's the name of the workshop - so happy you had fun in there!
Thank you so much!
I love your examples.
Thank you so much! This was a great video with lots of info! I can’t wait to try the technique with the paint I have on hand....just to get started!!!
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for sharing 🙏❤️
Great off to try.
Thank you. Great video!
Thanks for the helpful overview.
You can use Google Translate to hear the pronunciation. There's no accent over that e on the label, so it's silent.
Love this. My only question is why didn't you also pull the positive print off the gel plate? Couldn't that have been pulled with tissue paper and the words cut apart and collaged onto a beautiful art print?
You can but it isn't a "good" image due to the amount of paint on it Janet

I hadn't noticed that but yes the fingers were relatively clean Kathy 😆
@@CarolynDube Very impressive. xx

Can you do this process on fabric?
You absolutely could Janet!
👍✌️🙏❤️
