From my days at the Ann Arbor News to ESPN and Fox Sports, I have always held my own in the face of conflict with others. It has literally gotten to the point if you call a Jewish person Jewish it’s offensive. I mean its a complete joke 🤦
Across various comment sections, I’ve been noticing people self-censoring the word J*w, as if it was some sort of curse word. Since when is Jew a swear? This is getting beyond ridiculous at this point, as it’s turning into an all-out assault on free speech.

I'm Jewish and I agree. On top of that, they're calling things that are definitively not antisemitic, like Harrison Butker's graduation speech at a Catholic institution, antisemitic. While at the same time you have members of the U.S. Government, like Ilhan Omar and AOC, saying things that are absolutely antisemitic and extremely fascistic getting a total pass to keep doing it. It's beyond nuts at this point.

I stopped listening to Ben because of the Candace thing, and I'm not even on team Candace. I'm not sorry to say it, I'm not as invested in Israel as Ben and so the whole thing wore thin with me. I actually think what happened last October was horrible and Israel has a right to finish the job. But I think the goodwill they had has been used up. I'm allowed to have complicated views on the subject, or speak my mind without Jewish people or new laws written by foreign organizations calling me an antisemite. If you are trying to draw me in there are better tactics than saying "you're on our side or you hate Jews."

I have never been a big Shaprio fan and I don't know why maybe because he was anti Trump in 2016 but so was Beck , but Beck completely changed on Trump after he was elected , while I thought Shaprio only said he was for Trump in order to keep a audience
I actually enjoyed the music overlay. It wasn’t too annoying or distracting as you could still hear him clearly.

I would’ve rather Ben had the debate and addressed his disagreements,

I remember Jason saying on one of his shows that Clay lied to Jason while Jason was working at Outkick, which led to Jason leaving Outkick for the Blaze. I’m curious to hear the full story too.

Legitimate beef to question whether you want America first or have other priorities. Now, Ben and others will argue, USA needs an ally like Israel in the Middle East. But that debate and discussion needs to be on-going.

Israel has state-of-the-art military technology including the Iron Dome. When I first saw the video of the terrorists coming across the border on motorcycles and parachutes/paragliders, I thought, "this is happening in Israel?!" Then, not only did they carry on inside Israel for 8 hours wreaking havoc, they then transported about 1000 hostages back across the border. Where the heck was the vaunted Israeli defense? 8 hours?! And then it came out they had advanced knowledge of the attack. We haven't heard "the rest of the story......"

I usually agree with you JW, but in this case I think you missed the mark a bit (which is understandable since you say you're not super familiar with the political history behind it). I'm Catholic (not Jewish) but I know enough to be aware that suggesting a Jewish person somehow has "dual-loyalty" because they express a spiritual or cultural connection to Israel is a very textbook antisemitic trope. That would be like asking a Catholic if they had dual-loyalty to Rome because they have a spiritual connection to the Vatican and follow the teachings of the Pope, while pushing for policies that are consistent with that religion (anti-abortion, anti-same-sex marriage, etc.). It makes no sense.
Antisemitism isn't like racism, since Jews are an ethnic, not a racial group. Antisemitism often finds expression in stereotypical tropes and conspiracy theories about Jewish nature (e.g., Jews all have big noses, they drink Christian blood, they control the weather, they operate shadowy cabals that control world governments, they're trying to replace white people, etc.). The stereotyping and essentializing is not very different from any form of racism or ethnicism, but the bizarre conspiratorial accusations don't really have an equivalent in any other form of bigotry, and that includes Islamophobia.
