Its taken me like 25 years to break from the habit of always saying "no I'm ok thank you" when offered stuff by other people. Even with my own family it would be a game of me saying no 1 or 2 times when asked to changing it to ok I'll have some. Its probably also because I grew up extremely aware of my parents finances and them fighting about it in front of us kids
Makes me think of us growing up my mom would always tell us before visiting a friends house to not ask for stuff and say no when offered so when they would ask we would just stay quiet and look over at mom 👀.....😂 life goes on!
