I've been practicing and my favorite place to do the roar is in stairwells, theres always a nice echo! I tried it out yesterday and someone yelled above me "Chewie???" It was a glorious moment!

I like to do Chewy when I'm babysitting!! I ask the kiddos to give me their best Chewbacca impression and we laugh so hard. I then show them how to do it and they spend quite a bit of time practicing! Keeps them occupied for quite a while!
The best place to let out a Wookiee roar would be in the middle of a really important meeting or lesson; it could _subtly_ change the subject from less urgent matters to the Droid Attack on the Wookiees, and I think we all know it's a system we cannot afford to lose

Hey Yono, sounds great. On the show home improvement with tim the tool man taylor. He makes this herunhuu? sound and that is alsi close ish to voicacal chord placement. I was very impressed though we know there is alot more to it. Me thinks perhaps two similar pitches but slightly off issue from the larynx (maybe sone swallowing muslces involved?) and that starts up the more wob wob wob wob wob osolation. I never thought of the tongue roll cool. The loodoo beast on labryth is another one. I just figured i would give a few pointers too. thanks man this was helpful
Sitting in a public urinal would be hilarious. Especially if there were other people seated in stalls next to you. Just let out a roar, flush and leave before they come out to see who you are. Haha. I imagine they would walk around the store wondering if every person they saw was their pooing Chewie. Lol
I do a solid chewy roar, but mine is more from the throat (like a gurgle) than the tongue. Mine got featured on the Red Carpet Live Stream of The Last Jedi!
I always try to do the Chewbacca noise when playing with my dog, she seems to find it entertaining and sometimes tries to copy the noise when I do it! Hopefully these tips will help us get better at pretending to be Wookiee’s 🤔

Doing the Chewbacca sound in the dentist’s office after having wisdom teeth removed! All that padding really helps get that nice low roar sound! 🤣
I did this when I got my toy Chewbacca at Build A Bear and made the sales assistant's day - she couldn't stop laughing and said it was really good!
