    Thanks for much for this video, just what I was looking for! I am diabetic and miss my toast and jam! The chia seeds will add extra fibre as well. FYI, you can buy a funnel that fits canning jars, very easy to use, no messs when filling. Canning jars work very well in the freezer too and are quite often found in thrift stores. I am going to try freezing this in small jars.

    Hmm. This. + the right kind of Protien powder + no sugar added yogurt could make for a rather tasty brekkie

    Love making Chia jams, I've even frozen it, in ice cube trays as well, & you can make ice lollies with it too. Yes, absolutely the frozen mixed berries are very economical, you can get so many different flavour combinations now, like my fav, Black forest fruits. Yum. 🤗 Thanks for sharing, & take care. ❤🙂🐶

    Great recipe, thanks so much. Deserves a lot more views/likes. Is it the chia seeds that cause it to thicken up? 👍

    • @YummyInspirations
      @YummyInspirations  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks! Yes, the chia seeds thicken the berries to become jam.

      Usually 2 months. Don't contaminate it with unclean spoon though.

    Can I use ground chia? I don't care for whole chia seeds...😊

      You can buy chia seeds in most store. If whole I would say grind it.

    • @zwordsman
      @zwordsman 4 года назад +2

      I haven't done this recipe. But just from my own chia seed experiments. if you're grinding it. I would let the 'jam' cool down a lot more first.
