The worst money I EVER spent! PARKSIDE PABS E4 12-Li vs HILDA 12V DC drill / Lidl vs. Aliexpress

  • PARKSIDE PABS E4 12-Li + charger + 2Ah 12V battery + bit /drill accessories bought a year ago for about 50 EUR. Well used! Against a BRAND NEW 25 EUR HILDA drill from Aliexpress.
    I have left all the difficulties I experienced with the HILDA drill in the video!
    I wanted to review this Hilda drill, because it has been around for some time. So much so that when I wanted a drill but had no money to buy one years ago I was looking at this one. So now I decided to see what I would have bought back then and would have had no choice but to use.
    The chuck for me is a massive issue. It is straight but it is a pain to get tight enough and a pain to get it loose when you need to change to a new bit. The battery does not last and it heats up more than the other drill. So much so that I was not planning on measuring temperature, however it felt so warm at the end that I decided to check. It would have been a lot hotter before I measured it.
    25 EUR for it is just not worth it in mu humble opinion. Just wait for a sale on the Parkside one. What do you think?

      Hilda -made china, Parkside - made Germany

      Pretty sure Parkside ones are also China. I know the tools say Germany, but that is the company address and not the place of tool manufacturing.

    I have the parkside one. Brilliant little drill. Really well made and designed. Very handy to have the removable chuck to change from drilling to screwdriving in the blink of an eye.

      It is a really nice compact drill indeed. I bought mine to use it in places where I would not use my other drills. So that would be in an engine bay for example. It has had a lot of oil on it and in it and is still going strong. The HiLda would not last a day in that environment.

    This drill with the performance n without I've used but I saw they have an impact wrench 12v and an performance version so I was thinking on converting but maybe when the professional black ones go out with the brushless motors

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  2 месяца назад +1

      For sure the black ones with the brushless motors have more power. They also claim they last longer.

      @@BrokeLifeEU like the blue Bosh n green Bosh the blue black or purple editions are pro versions for better longer lasting n more durable use green is more diy / public use even tough I got the green n black 12v n I was thinking to get few other brushless Easyer to maintain n friendly to clean also there is 12v saw and grinder like the grinder you ruin the bolt threads with to test the extractors and also saw that's kinda usefull for furniture but I've used the green 220 bigger variant battery saw with replaceable belts seem interesting there is an 20v version but I hope it does not shake or vibrate too much n does not jam good for furniture tho

      Maybe in the future I should try and build some stuff on this channel using Parkside and another build with something like Einhell and see what’s what. But that will be in the future if I can produce some income 😅

      @@BrokeLifeEU I don't wanna ruin your wallet Bosh ain't bad too as the 18v versions there is a double battery vacume the 10.8v drills ain't bad too Parkside is good as well ethiel are not bad I must say I've had few tests and I did twist my wrist once came unexpected tho DeWalt has good bits other then tools you can get a bit box with a good number n a magnet holder in a nice case for drills you can get Parkside ruverised boxes like 12 bit sets for wood n metal and I'ma say Parkside makes other tools my project I don't trust for power tools sense I've had few touches n they shaking out the box not after few years of use but one other tool brand that ain't vip or counted too good but has some decent quality is TOTAL

      @BrokeLifeEU  2 месяца назад

      Total I have been wanting to look in to for some time now, but they look a bit too expensive for what they are. I find them at Einhell prices. As for the bits and such I always go dor quality. DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee etc are the bits I use with Parkside tools. It does make a world of difference! Parkside are mot good in the bits department. A mediocre tool with good bits is better than a good tool with low quality bits if you ask me.

      Parkside is the cheapest somewhat decent tool you could get away with. The batteries and chargers are good enough (maybe even excellent for the price) and the warranty for the tools means you don't have to worry if you get a defective one.

    Moram priznat da me aliexpress razočarao mislio sam da će biti jako blizu u performansama ali da ce ipak parkside pobijedit, plus te 3 godine garancije dok mi ova s aliexpressa izgleda kao da ce pregorit jako brzo sve u svemu odličan video kao i uvijek samo tako

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  8 месяцев назад +3

      Da, i ja sam se razočarao! I dalje je 25 EUR. Kvaliteta je loša. Nema snage. I sve vrijeme je smrdjelo kao da će eksplodirati. Baterija ne drži i nema garancije. Samo pričekajte Parkside rasprodaju i nemojte riskirati s Aliexpressom u ovoj situaciji.
