I love how level are like small open worlds. They have the exploration of open worlds but not the boring "lots wide areas of nothing" that usually come with them. So much better than the very linear levels we usually get in VR. Wonder how complex the levels get, the game is supposed to be between 12 and 15 hours long so there must be a lot of them.
I’ve struggled with how to describe the levels. Because they are rather small, but packed full of exploration. I guess mini open worlds without the “wides areas of nothing” is a good way to look at it.
I went with smooth 90 but I did try both. I prefer the 90. PCVR looked a tad better if you have a capable enough GPU. I maxed it with 20 or 30% extra super sampling and recording footage at the same time with 0 slow downs.
@@stevesteve1983 no I want to really bad but they are still all sold out as far as I know. Have you? If so would my 4090 push the psvr2 even more than the ps5 pro and does that translate to cleaner better visuals?
Will you buy Arken Age on launch day, wait for a sale, or nah not for me?
Depends on the price of Steam!
But most likely wait for sale because I have a lot of unfinished games
Your reddit write up got me here and watching/hearing you convinced me - I like you and you've earned a subscriber.
I will buy this day one! Peace!
Glad to have you around! I like to provide as much info as I can!
Great video, can’t wait to see your final review.
Thanks Robert!

glad to hear it, this game had been on my wishlist
This is one reason to get a ps5 any one it has ps5 pro mode or a reason to get pc if you play on a meta quest
High fidelity VR hits a little different.
Which visual setting did you pick? Also which version looked better between pcvr and ps5?

I just got the psvr2 and a ps5 pro and I also have a quest 3 paired with a 4090. So now I never know which version I should buy
@ I prefer the optical clarity of the quest 3 in those decisions, but with Arken Age, you can’t go wrong with either.
@@thegarch3293 Tried the PSVR2 with PC adapter yet?

How can we get the demo?
There is no demo, content creators were given early access.
