Thanks, TK, for another great video. To my ears, the Yamaha Parlor had the best projection from afar.

I'm a weirdo but I love the sound of a small compact and thinbody acoustic guitar. I like the compressed bright sound they have.

I'm surprised by the sound of the Traveler. Fender sounded terrible.

The Yamaha sounded the best; all of the others had balance problems, especially with the low Eb,

A couple of things...I think your German Shepard put in enough screen time to earn mention in the Credits!!! Was very well behaved until it felt it was time to go into "Protect My Domain" mode, which was done quite well, I might add, and when that was accomplished, came back to expect being rewarded for "Doing My Job as Domain Protector!!!" I enjoyed your German Shepard being a contribution (even though it may have seemed annoying to you at times) to your video!!!
Second...Thank you for this video. You confirmed something I've thought for the almost 60 years I've been playing. For me, while sound is "great," if it doesn't "feel right" to you, you won't be all that interested in picking it up to play it before you will pick up a guitar that "feels right." I have 4 styles of acoustics, some I've had for the entire almost 60 years I've been playing, and I still find that when I pick up an acoustic...I always reach for my 6 string and 12 string Dreadnoughts "First." Thank you for this video. While the first comment was an attempt at trying to add a bit of levity to comments, you confirmed that I haven't been missing out on anything because of my preference for what "feels right" instead of just because it's supposed to be good or sound great. I learned the lesson on a Strat 4 years ago, if it doesn't "feel right?" In addition to rarely, if ever playing it, I'll feel like I wasted my $$$$. Great Video and thank you again TTK!!!!

nice sunburst on that german shepherd ; the cash had good tone and fender also, weird how the jumbo wasn't loudest, even the smaller ones you can hear at 25 ft range . . .

He should’ve strummed it harder. Jumbos sound muddy and too quiet if you don’t pick or strum them hard enough.

I used the Outside Furniture as a distance marker and the Jumbo projects a whole Lawn Chair earlier then the rest. Jumbo moves more air. I thought the Johnny Cash was the quietest overall but , hey, It's black and has stars. Great video TTK !

I agree about the Martin Cash model being the quietest.

That first lick TK played I still use always till this day as my "demo" riff when I pick up and test a guitar. I remember learning it like 10 years ago and TK still jams it.
The first thing I play when I get a guitar. Fun as hell little riff to play. I recommend learning it. You will see why TTK always plays it. Very fun and addicting.

I have a Washburn GA, a Hellcat, and a Yamaha APTX2. I found the Hellcat to be a great compromise between comfort and sound. The GA is bigger and takes its toll after some time but sounds great, the Yamaha sounds too thin and is a little cramped to play but easy to transport and makes a good couch guitar. I hunted high and low for something in the middle. Had my heart set on the GS mini until I found the Hellcat, don’t regret it in the least!

Small guitars are boxy with lots of mids. I find they work best especially in a band conditioned to do music that is 80's to the present Metal. I would recommend anyone in a similar situation to check out parlour style guitars.

I own a Grand Auditorium. It is one size smaller than the Dreadnaught. I noticed that it has more midrange than the other guitars. The one that you tested has the same midrange as mine.

I thought you also lived in California too with this fine weather. Great demo presentation. I thought the smaller concert guitairs sounded and projected much better. However, they all sounded great.
