Pretty sure this no longer works in 4.0 I don't know why but no matter what I do I can't get the water to flow. Edit: My domain is just much bigger than his making the water not appear. I don't know why this is though so if anyone knows why that happens and how to fix it let me know..

I'm in blender 4.1 and im new to blender, mine did work, but because of my prob only mine got error, i mean not much of an error, it was like, when i added the cup's shape, i extruded it more than necessary. try updating your's to 4.1 and try again?

Nice tutorial ! While using blender 4.1 i stumbled across a problem with making the liquid move but after playing with the settings i managed to fix it!!

Hi Im using a Mac Book pro M2 it takes about one hour to Bake is this normal ? or I need to get an IGPU nvidia with 9 gen cpu? If I want to do this king of Rendering more aften. ? what would you suggest ? would that shorten my Bake time ??

The rendering and baking of the animation are two different things, if you are rendering it's always best to do this on a GPU, baking a fluid animation into cached data will take longer the higher the resolution 16 fast 256 very long wait time. the better and more cores a CPU has the quicker the bake but in most cases it takes quite a while.

How do you make the animation not 1 second long? Because last I worked on this kinda project it came out 1 second long instead.

hey you can change the "time stretching" feature to make your animation take longer (use more frames)

25 frames per second means 25 frames for every 1 second, so 50 frames would be 2 seconds 100 frames would be 4 seconds. increase the frames then you have to increase the total amount to achieve a longer render/animation.
