Ans : yes
More powerful than SR-71 engines?
@@74superglide Yes, and it's not even close. The J58s on the SR-71 make 25,500 pounds of thrust each. The GE9x on this 777-9 make 105,000 pounds each. The most powerful version of the engine, the GE90-115B installed on the 777-300ER, makes 115,000 pounds of thrust.
@@BlackOpSource I just read 134,000 lol
I love how boeing is going to push this story super hard to deferent from the 737 max situation.
Not sure. But we need to be fair, if this plane is actually as good as it looks they deserve credit for it. Meanwhile many people still need to be held accountable for the 737 MAX.
Nicolas Desautels all I want is pilots review. If they feel safe then I'll get on one.
Wouldn't you?
The crowd was clapping and cheering because finally a Boeing plane didn't crash from a fault
Back in the uk I'm watching this video and as a Boeing supporter I'm very exited
I am sure Boeing's software on this type will be perfect.
Yep. M hmm. 100% sure. Confident.
Right?
Ha if only! There will be many software updates
its probably using the same software from the 737-max... it will be..........perfect!!!!
ROFL
@@rearspeaker6364 not even close it uses fly-by wire
I didn't look for this video and you neither
That wingspan oh my God.
Absolutely beautiful airplane. Well Done Boeing. First flights are always so exciting.
What is the point if the folding wingtips?
Everyone just stops and stares when the BIG guy drops on by. "Got a room for the night?"
Hope this doesn’t have the same crash feature like the last one
I wanna ride this plane
I'm sure they would have no problem strapping you to one of the wings and taking you for a ride.
As an American I support Boeing 100%. Great job 👍
Looks like your gonna have fatigue problems with the horizontal stabilizers. Keep an eye on them!
Crowd: "screams in agony"
Reporter: "as you can see the crowds are cheering!"
😅😅
The wing tips are auto on landing
Ahh yes I can see the news story now. "Tips fold mid flight spin plane upside down"
News at different channel: Due to system failure, the wings tips of 777x parked at the gate started rapidly fluttering causing the plane vertical take off.
Alright lets be honest. Wingtips folding up can't crash a plane.
Hopefully the software in this thing doesn't turn it into a very expensive lawn dart.
It's beautiful. No matter how much you hate Boeing, let's just all hope that Boeing doesn't rush their 777X. The 777 really needs an update and this seems promising.
Wow, an airplane!.. . That looks like all the other airplanes... . . Fascinating.
That was amazing! I feel like I need a cigarette!🤣🚬
Dee Anna enjoy cancer
*got blown away by 777X jetblast*
In all seriousness, please don’t. If you have children, they might have to cope with your death at a very young age. I know that some people say that if it’s once in a while, they’ll be fine, but that just leads them on the road to addiction and finally death.
Nope sorry no smoking sign is permanently on 😝
Everybody: well done Boing.
Me: what about 737 max 😏
It will "return" , but it will never really "recover"
FAA said mid of 2020 idk
"Boing" is right.
They’ll need to change the name and jail the CEO (that’s legged it).
Everybody: Kobe (and 8 others) died in a tragic helicopter crash
You: what about his rape allegations 😉
these 'commentators' are about as interesting as fox news 'anchors' reporting on an LA car chase.
Amazing. Finally B777x come out.
Great folding wings tips, when will planes actually move into the 2020. Can’t they make them any faster yet.
