Richard Jobson is a very eloquent, engaging and insightful person, whose influence I am still very open to - even all these years after The Skids! I have a huge amount of time and respect for him and am so pleased to see that he is sharing, educating and mentoring others through events like this.

Kin 'ell! First time I ever saw this fella was with the Skids supporting the Stranglers in '78 at Great Yarmouth. He jumped off stage and waded into a gang of skins who'd just turned up and were making trouble ; )

Wonderful story thus far, my father being from Glasgow is a typical role male, militar and construction as well as myself, however when I was done with ny time in the Army I continued on with my art and am making my way, a man must blaze his own path.

No Bad records also issued two albums by Scottish traditional folk band Heratage. My dad played in the band so I've got both, despite never really having an interest in that kind of music, it was punk rock I liked lol.

I like the guy. A bit of a chancer and a risk taker, but being in a one-hit band for a bit and then making a few cheapo films doesn't make you anything special. Spent most of his young life pissed as a fart and fannying around the West End. Only a success compared to being shot at on the Falls Road.

One hit band???...I take it you're having a laugh? As for Richard 'spending most of his young life pissed as a fart'...I think you'll find, due to his epilepsy, that he didn't drink much, if at all. Apart from that I thought your comment was well thought out and factually correct...NOT.

You can smell the envy from your post.
Jobbo has lived a life people like you can only ever dream about.
Bow your head to the greatness.
      Your life is a failure.
